Fashion / Re: Second-Hand Clothes! by dikizie(m): 12:59pm On Jan 10, 2008
Even in the United States people buy second hand clothes. They go to Thrift stores to buy these clothes. Besides those clothes you buy at boutiques in Nigeria 40% are second hand clothes. Most of them bought from Thrift stores in either America, London etc. they are then sent to Nigeria. A measure of different deodorants and air fresheners are used to make them smell nice.

Romance / Re: Who Sits In Front: Your Girlfriend Or Bestfriend? by dikizie(m): 10:54pm On Jan 09, 2008
To choose is actually a very difficult thing to do. I was in this situation once, and luckily for me, my girl can drive. So, before we got to the car. I told her to drive that I was tired. What I do if I am the friend is allow the girlfriend to choose for me. If she walks to the front seat, then it means I stay behind, but if she gladly goes to the back then I would sit up front.

Travel / Re: Final Interview For 2008 Dv Visa Lottery by dikizie(m): 6:12pm On Nov 19, 2007
Congratulations, I won the 2007 DV lottery, did my interview, passed my interview. After two months I was in the United States. Which I know is about the biggest mistake I made. I left were I was working, dashed everybody my things, practically dashed my car away. Only to get here to see that I should have come here with all that money. Where I stay is kind of the suburbs, as in rich peeps and quiet and so it is difficult to get a bus to where things are happening(business areas), so now i need a car, and I still have not gotten my feet real good. I was probably amongst the many Nigerians who feel that things come easy here in the states. My advice to you. Come with enough money to cater for yourself for about three months. A friend of mine came over, and his friend gave him only one month to stay with before getting his accommodation. It was pretty rough for him, but we thank God that he managed. After all the grave shift jobs he managed to move to his own place.

@ poster
I really want to know whats up and i was wondering if me and u could get together someday. oh baby, u look so delicious and tantalizing. Baby tell me, how would u feel because i would like to take u to places where u only see on the t.v and buy u things that u can't even pronounce. All you have to do is come take a ride with me in my uncompleted mercedes benz.

This is a verse from one of Big Lo's songs, please could you actually tell us what you actually said to the girl, because i can't believe you could actually make the mistake of reciting big Lo's "delicious" song.

Music/Radio / Re: Kanye Must Be Crazy To Think He Can Compete Wiv Ifty by dikizie(m): 7:16pm On Sep 13, 2007
I bets be Graduating rather than being a Curtis fan. How can I buy an album with songs as stupid as Follow my lead in it. Fifty killed his rap career with this, he should as well start singing. Talent and mad Skillz would win over brute, trash talking and arrogance any day. Big up to the winner Kanye West.

@ sugachic

Get your info right, Fifty on SOHH.com was the one that said he would retire if Kanye should outsell him on the first day. Kanye is just in it for the money.

Nairaland / General / Re: Submit Your Happiness Tip by dikizie(m): 7:43pm On Sep 01, 2007
Was browsing through my television channels yesterday and the movie Sound of Music was on, Julia Andrews (Maria) in the movie said when she is sad, she thinks of happy things. The only one that caught my attention was "girls in white dresses and blue satin sashes". But in my own case it would be "girls without dresses, big hips, big boobs and nice asses".

Phones / Re: NCC Plans GSM 'Number Portability' by dikizie(m): 9:10pm On Aug 28, 2007
To me this is just rubbish, like I understand the different carriers would still have different tariffs but they would not have a unique number assigned to each carrier. (eg. no more 0803, 0805 to tell you what particular network the person is on)
Romance / Re: Heartbroken: Jilted By My Girlfriend For An 'Ex-Boyfriend' by dikizie(m): 8:49pm On Aug 28, 2007
To my consideration, we are 1 year and plus months away from the day this topic was posted. We would want to know what the aftermath of this story is, because if it is a Nigerian movie a sequel of part 4 would be in the market now.

Travel / Re: I Live In America, But I'm Not Aje-Butter by dikizie(m): 5:59am On Aug 22, 2007
Your parents probably call you Aje butter, because of the way you handle house chores and your interactions with people. You are either aje butter, aje Kpako, or average(kpakorised aje butter). The irony to it is that if one is called an aje kpako, he or she would also act the same way you acted, this is because the word is kind of derogatory.

Different people understand these terms in different ways. Some people believe that Aje butters' are normally children of rich parents that have every amenity they want at the simple snap of a finger, Some think they are those that were over pampered and dont do anything in their homes. So now from these simple explanations you are left to chose wer you belong, the aje butters', the aje kpako's or kpakorised aje butter.

Why tell someone you would give out something for free, when it is not free. I went to your website and realized that one would pay 3500 to get these products. Look for more catchy ways to market your product.

May God forgive our brothers and sisters of the south south zone. Who are taking the struggle for justice to the extreme. Dialogue, I believe would solve the whole situation. A struggle for justice in the right direction, would give a more permanent peace.
