A reliable source can help to check your status but cannot influence your performance/outcome. If you have the LIVER then contact your source now. Many people now know their status. Cheers.

I know how you feel. I have already rehearsed my final exit from my present company for NLNG next month. I am coming in as an experienced hire. I have edited my resignation letter (notice to an end to my slavery). I keep thinking how these fellows in my dept will receive the news of my exit. From 120k salary to 1.5million naira per month salary. Aaaaaaah! My operations manager once begged me to confide in him whenever I get a better job. He knew I was good on my job but the black dragons in the helm of affairs have declared we cannot emancipate ourselves from mental slavery. Aaaaaaah! It will be a shocker for my employer cause am coaching 8 new recruits. Am just the experienced guy left. I will help my coy have smooth transition with no hitch but I must move ahead. Forkadit, see you in a matter of weeks.

120K for 10 yrs experienced guy is big time slavery. Is not even upto 50% of the basic salary of an OND staff without experience in my place excluding field allowance. Congrats bro.

Lol.

Bro, in all honesty I have no clue. Like some poster suggested many pages back on here that this whole thing can be likened to the rapture that neither the angels (@dplacement) nor the son (@Nicer) knows the time but the Father (NLNG HR).

Congrats.

@ All. this week is ending today according to someone here. The mail will come when we reach page 200 according to my prediction.

The fact remains that by posting those screenshots here, she just made you lose all credibility you may have had here. It would do you much good if you just pipe low for a while.
Guy, you and credibility . Abeg, leave the guy alone. You may not be better. Let's focus on relevant things relating to this recruitment in a peaceful manner. Insha Allah.

Why are you doubting him? It could be he was trying to help a relative or friend to acquire information who is not a nairalander. I do similar things to help people even when I did not apply for the job. I heard similar thing he said .

Same. Maybe they've not started paying PH folks.

Many that did their AC in PH have been paid but I don't know what is delaying the others. Something tells me the result will be out when we hit page 200. Remember is a guess and not based on any insider information.

Hello guys, though i have been expecting that they would pay, but it is taking too long.

Is there anyone in the house that has not been paid yet? Or is it just me remaining? I know one guy complained some time ago, have you been paid yet?

Have you gotten any alert yet? What can really be delaying this alert after 2 months? I know i gave a right acct number and also monitored when they wrote it down.

You mean Tim McManis? The leader of Athena team who has spent just 3 months on the job, the only team leader who beats his KPI with the lowest number of staff?... I think its also suspected that his team members were probably jealous that Tim was promoted ahead of them. It was also said that he was left to his own ways with little or no support.
I don't think he is a poor leader as the conditions he found himself, he just had to deliver which he did. If he had more support and empowerment in terms of training, more years of experience and more staff, he probably would be one of the best team leaders in the CS dept.

That part was kinda tricky but with deep analysis.....I think one will be able to make good recommendations.

The wait is on.
Good morning people.

Tim or Phil? He was regarded as being bully, maybe because of envy or whatever. One of the staff was very sick and he refused to grant her permlssion thereby forcing her to work. Is that a good leadership style? Remember one of the core values of NLNG is CARING. Yes he needs to undergo training to improve on his leadership skills , employee management skills and so on inorder to gain the love from his team which will increase their motivation. A good leader should be loved and trusted by those his leading.

any time i recall my CBI i cringe. For the first time in my life i could'nt confidently pinpoint (with any degree of accuracy) my performance in a given test/exam...pls don't remind me of that CBI,i don't even want to remember what i said there.
All the same, OLUWA IS IN CHARGE.

Mr Phil, the bully newly promoted manager that has a poor leadership style. May God help us.

The funny thing is that I wasn't asked a single question after my presentation. Now I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad one.
There was 10 to 15 mins as part of the
process for them to ask questions . I was asked many questions although was told that they were not meant to ask all the questions during our conversation. They were very nice.Anyway, I don't know why they didn't ask you any question.
Goodluck to all.

The high level of secrecy in this NLNG recruitment is unbelievable. Initially when the AC started and there was no hint released on nairaland , I said to myself this was initial gara gara (IGG). UNBELIEVABLE no hint released to the end of AC. Even after the end of AC , no one wants to talk about how his or her AC went. Na Wah for you guys, even those that ended the process went there without any hint after 2 months from this supposed beloved thread. Ok, keep it up guys.

***Pls has anyone who did his/her AC in PH gotten an alert on transportation fare?

Was asked this very questions in my last interview. What in your own perspective is the best approach to tackling this question?

My response; my duty as an employee is to give faithful and honest service to my employer at all time. If lying for my employer will protect the organization then i will.
You can rate me and let me learn from your approach.

Guy, no no try at all. Liars are liable to go to hell. If it is a company that has integrity as a core value then there a problem. I remembered the first interview I had after service where I was asked ; what will you do if after the interview and you get a call from Mobil to resume? I replied that I will join Mobil and supported it with diplomatic points. I was the only person taken in the last interview because other people said they will neglect Mobil offer and wait for the company to take them. I got to know this when I joined them. Try to be honest in your interview.

Padi you dey lie big time.......I mean big time. It might be possible but trust me, this one right here is a big lie!!!!! E no for do AC too na. E for just fly enter the Company. That's how IM works..LOL. story

He might be lying. But sometimes you really need to investigate information before you conclude. Some companies have a policy that you must pass through AC before you enter as a Graduate Trainee. It happens in SRD and it for formality sake. I still pray/believe NLNG will not succumb to any external pressure and maintain the integrity which they are known for.

I think it would be best to use just AC performance. It would be unfair to use work experience especially as this is a GT recruitment. All those Shell, Total, Hali, Slum, and mobil peeps at the AC!!!! No one knows how they got into these great coys, so performance @ the AC would be the only adequate and unbiased thing to use.

If candidates have the same score which is most unlikely, then they can use other criteria but not work experience.

Besides, its been one whole year since we filled that form at the SHL test, some peeps have got awesome jobs after that SHL test, some have lost their jobs, some have got higher degrees/certification/training, while others have gained useful experience. These things that happened from the SHL time till now are unknown to NLNG.

Its best they just go with AC scores as those scores won't lie. If you can do what they want at the AC, you most likely would do it even better on the job.

I believe they know all these though and they will do what is right and unbiased.

There is no how they will use only AC performance to make the final decision. Other factors will include ; federal character, gender, previous achievement, more related skills to the field you applied, number of required slots per field(Technical should be highest) and some other factors. The ugly factor is long leg because I don't think there has ever been any recruitment in Nigeria that is 100 percent transparent and on merit but I pray/believe NLNG will make a difference.

Anybody for the NLNG AC close by so that we can organise ourselves for the mock AC.
At least a knowledge of the process will definitely boost confidence.

So there is AC on 6th of June which is on Saturday. I initially had a feeling that AC will start on 8th June, 2015.

@rightthing276, what moral right do you have to call people junk heads? Do you think you are better than them or are you part of the HR team that appraised or assessed them? You should really work on your character and learn how to respect your colleagues.

Thanks. The HR team cannot know if you received the email or not. Your duty is to ensure you provide an accurate address. Are you in this category?

No, I have gotten my invite but am scared network will not affect anyone's confirmation(availability & present location) mail to NLNG HR. Am of the opinion for them to send a reminder or acknowledgment mail to us on or before 22nd May,2015 so that some people will not forfeit this golden opportunity because of network wahala. Thanks.

You are doing a great work here. My advice is for you to inform the NLNG HR team to send a reminder mail to those they didn't receive their confirmation mail or send an acknowledgement mail to us. Network can make someone's mail not to reach the desired location. Thanks.
