Singer Abolore ‘9ice’ Adigun says he hasn’t forgotten his promise to bring a Grammy award to Nigeria.

9ice had made the pledge on ‘Street Credibility‘, a track on his sophomore album – Tradition.

Speaking in a recent interview with PUNCH, the Gongo Aso singer said as long he’s still doing music, the dream of winning a Grammy award remains alive.

He said: “I am still working on bringing the Grammy to Nigeria. Abraham Lincoln tried several times before he became the president of the US while Buhari tried about four times before he became president.” “As long as I am still doing music, I can still get the Grammy,” 9ice added.

The singer also said he maintains a cordial relationship with his former Coded Tunes label mates, Olamide and Reminisce. “There is no issue between myself, Olamide and Reminisce. The reason I was not at one of Olamide’s concerts was because I was not in the country and that was the same reason I missed Reminisce album listening party,” he said. “It is just that our schedules are tighter now. I was on Olamide’s first album and he was on my last album. I have so many songs with Olamide that are yet to be released. 2 suspected Boko Haram terrorists carrying out surveillance on Kareto and Dangalti villages in Borno State, were apprehended by troops of 158 Task Force Battalion of 5 Brigade, Nigerian Army on Tuesday, 28th March 2017.

Preliminary investigation shows that the apprehended spies were on recconaisance mission to facilitate possible attack on the communities by Boko Haram terrorists.

Similarly, one Bulama Kailani Mohammed Metele from Tumbun Bera, a confessed Boko Haram terrorist belonging to Mamman Nur's faction of the terrorists group, surrendered himself to troops of 145 Task Force Battalion, 5 Brigade, troops at Damasak.

It has been confirmed that Metele was a high profile terrorist as he is at Serial number 253 on the Nigerian Army's Wanted Boko Haram terrorists poster produced recently. He is currently undergoing further interrogation.

Recall that on sunday during the Live eviction show, Ebuka asked Marvis what she thinks about Debbie Rise. Marvis said somethings about Debbie and she concluded it with "I feel she has low self esteem"
Today, Debbie Rise called the housemates together and decided to air her view on that statement.
In her statement,
" I feel like what you said is wrong, I was up for eviction and you choose to use hard words on me, what you said about me having low self esteem is bad. It was a live show, some people only watch the Live show and you decided to use that moment to say that. I am not cool with it"

A man who had practised as a lawyer for five years in Anambra State, Mr. Richard Ikenna Udeozo, was on Wednesday remanded in prison custody by the magistrate, S. K Kadurumba, in Owerri, Imo State.

He has been accused of fraudulently parading himself as a lawyer, whereas he is not. In his defence, Udeozo said the original of his Call to Bar certificate fell inside water, hence his inability to present it.

The suspect was arraigned by the Police, in conjuction with the Owerri Branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, for impersonation and forgery, among other charges preferred against him.

Some of the charges preferred against him were that, on March 23, 2017, in the office of the chairman of NBA, Owerri branch, Udeozo presented a forged certificate of Call to the Bar dated November 20, 2012, as a proof of his Call to Bar.

The certificate reportedly bears the name of one Richard Ikenna Amanoh. On the same day, he presented a forged qualifying certificate from Council of Legal Education of November 20, 2012, which bears Richard Ikenna Amanoh, as proof of attending the Nigerian Law School.

The accused was also said to have presented a forged change of name which was published in the Vanguard newspaper of September 24, 2012, as a document changing his name from Richard Ikenna Udeozo to Richard Ikenna Amanoh. The document was said to have also been forged by him.

The Owerri branch NBA chairman, Lawrence Nwakaeti, told the court that the accused was a serial bail jumper who had jumped bail in Anambra State on the same matter.

Udeozo had jumped bail in Uli, Anambra State, years back, and ran to Imo State, where he had been practising in the chambers of Ifeanyi Udeagwu & Co. in Owerri Town, until he was apprehended on March 23, 2017.

Bassey becomes the seventh housemate to leave the house.

"T Boss is really really attractive and I'm just one of those guys who love her"
He also said "Debbie Rise is like an egg to him and that he didn't want to lead her on and brake her heart"

Suspected Boko Haram kingpin, Adenoyi Abdulsalam, has been arrested in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state. An Ak-47 rifle was recovered from the suspect who is presently undergoing investigation.

Abdulsalam was in the final stages of kidnapping some high-level targets in Ekiti to raise funds and terrorise communities in the state.

Another Boko Haram suspect, Usman Rawa, 29, a.k.a Mr X, was also arrested in Lafia, Nasarawa, on March 17. He rented an accommodation in Lafia for one Abdullahi Isa, who was known for his “notorious terrorist” activities. His plan is to establish an effective base to conduct terrorism, kidnapping and robbery operations in Abuja, Minna, and other adjoining States.

A suspected Boko Haram top commander, Nasiru Sani, a.k.a Osama, was also in Bauchi on March 15. Sani escaped from Bauchi central prison in October 2010 and hid in Maiduguri, Borno state.

Adamu Jibrin, another suspect, was arrested at Jeka-da-Fari Market in Gombe on March 13. Jibrin who operated under the pseudo name of Dantata Sule, served as a middleman for Boko Haram members and their commanders.
