you are not wrong but never tell their parent why because they will see you as a Philadelphia/rapist (trust Nigerian parent) and you will become a suspect if there is a case of rape of children/aged/male/female even animal/non~living thing.
my advices ar:
you don't have to allow them in if you don't want to
buy something for them/money occasionally as compensation ( if not for the society, you know they don't deserve to be rejected; even Jesus don't reject them
greet them very well if u see them outside
occasionally ask them about their school
let your no kids be no kids; imagine closing the doors at ur landlord kids only fur you ti open it to some kids from the third street
NEVER tell them why

Does the CSSP superior general get orders from the Catholic Church?

yeah. from Rome. wanna sue the Pope? lol. on a more serious note, every bishop or superior general of a congregation is under the Pope. a congregation cannot even be set up unless the Pope approves. but like I said, Fr. Ede set up the school as a private individual, totally independent of the church. The school in question is a legal and juristic personality. even if the court orders a "lifting of the veil" what you'll see is the board of directors, of which the Catholic church is not part of.

No be by force for your Pikin to go University.

Many Parents after failing to properly raise their kids to function in normal society send them to Universities like Madonna and Covenant where they would be under lock and keys and still be recieving an Education.

If Na me, I would probably be dead, because Mama didn't raise no punk. As soon as I saw that shiit had hit the fan, that's the sign for weapons free for me. I am going down fighting, soldier or not. I already trust what my parents would do to the entire school and the Catholic Church that backs them.

the Parents should get a good lawyer and pay his fees; First bring a Criminal Suit and list the following people as defendants;

1. The Catholic Church
2. The University Itself
3. The Nigerian University Commission
4. The Nigerian Army.

Also, the Nigerian Police has a case to answer for spotting those boys in that condition and leaving them in the hands of their attackers and not swinging into action and launching an Investigation immediately.

After that, file a Civil Suit against all the respondents for 1 Billion Naira each for both Punitive And Emotional Damage. angry

MADONNA UNIVERSITY IS NOT A CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY. So the Catholic church CANNOT be joined as party in the suit, whether as a proper party, desirable party, nominal party or necessary party. The school is wholly owned by one man who happens to be a Catholic priest of the order of cssp (congregatio Sanctus Spiritus). (It is not even owned by cssp)he does not take orders from any bishop, only from his Superior and Superior General in cssp. It will therefore amount to a misjoinder of parties if the Catholic church is included among the defendants.

Very interesting. In law practice this is called "hostile witness" situation. All the learn SAN need do is to seek leave of the court to cross examine the witnesses as if they're witnesses for the other side (since they've decided to turn hostile.)
Career / Re: Did I Make A Mistake Studying Law? by dom(m): 8:54pm On Aug 18, 2015
Hmmmmmm. Hold yourself together, counsel. Nil desperado. U are giving up when u haven't even started. Haba. Though I do not know what they teach u guys at the law school these days, but when we left Bwari over a decade ago, we did so with our heads held very high and confident we've been imbued with what it takes to take on the world. Today there's none of us that haven't stabilised ,( having paid our dues), doing very well in whatever sector each person decided to veer into. Many are even on the bench, some are special assistants (legal) to ministers, governors and the like. Those who persisted in litigation have set up flourishing legal practices. You too must gird ur loins and prepare to pay your dues. Law has a long gestation period. The bible enjoins us to despise not the days of little beginnings. But U can also decide to veer off law. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But whatever u decide to do, be patient enough to learn the ropes, mix up with senior colleagues, and always tell God u are a pencil in his hands. God bless u immensely and grant u the confidence to persevere and conquer.

One thing is this, This Hoodlums dont make mistakes, Sincerely when a gang of hoodlums attack another faction, there are some who hide somewhere to identify any of the gangs who came to attack them, and they pass the informations around till they get someone to use as a scapegoat.

An average hoodlums folds cant just hold a 17 years old boy and stab him if they never knew any bad trait about him. how would his mother know if he was a cult member or part of the hoodlums who first attacked. This sorta small boys are not been given good home training.

In lagos island at least even a boy of 15 is seen brandishing a cutlass when the hoodlums go attack and they easily forget themselves and walkby where they planned shits. May God heal him Fast but from the whole story that boy was among who attacked them first. A cult guy or hoodlums who attacks dont go home to his family and say "Daddy Mummy i just killed someone today'
.

U just committed a fallacy of hasty generalisation.

I'm from Imo but have been privileged to know Arch. Mike Onolememen CON, KSM since 2010. He's a great man indeed and a role model to many young men. Very intelligent, hardworking and humane. His silent generosity is boundless. I think Edo people should vote him in and then do a thanksgiving in church cos i'm certain he'll turn the state around. His track record in government service is impeccable & unassailable. Last year, among many other awards, he won Minister of the Year award from naijainfo FM callers. The guy don even complete his PhD programme recently. All round jolly good fellow. Carry go, Nnam ukwu.

This is just an interim order of court, as opposed to a final judgement as delivered by the Fhc. But I wonder how a court can grant an order to restrain a completed act. Its not done. I also wonder why the Court didnt strike out the suit for being an abuse of court process. Something is missing here. I'd go thru the ruling before making further comments.

hmmmmm. I wonder what she thinks she stands to gain from a statutory marriage. Its not exactly a prenup. It only guarantees maintenance from him in the event of a dissolution and even that is calculated according to his earning capacity and ceases as soon as she remarries. On the other hand, he should realise that many churches these days would not wed u unless you've done your statutory marriage first. Again, what he thinks is just a church marriage may end up being a statutory marriage if the church is a licensed place of worship as provided in the Marriage Act. A statutory marriage puts him in a better stead for several transactions. Lastly, too much sense de worry the couple. They're even thinking about divorce already.

Is there any big deal observing fasting during the (Muslim) fasting period?” he asked rhetorically....."

"Fasting is not what everybody should know that you are doing and it’s very sad seeing this in the media."

"I don't discriminate against anybody and I believe we are all equal in the presence of God, so what is the big deal in fasting?

“Does he know how many time I fast to get closer to God before the fasting periods? It's really sad because I don't see it as a big deal."

I hope some people are learning. Fasting is a personal thing. Not something to be made a public show about like the pharisees.
