First and foremost,i want to make everyone in the house to know that when it comes to national security issues,anybody can be called for questioning/interrogation,hence,Raymond Dokpesi is not an exception.Therefore,we should stop seeing it as a political witch hunting,its a matter of urgent National Security.It is an embarrasing security issue,that on a National day,some unscrupulous,power drunk elements in our nation decided to cause us pain,sorrow,and international disgrace.
Secondly,any well meaning Nigeria should not ever think of allowing IBB to contest not to talk of voting for him.This man ruled this country with iron fist,never wanted democracy,introduce Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) as austerity measures,meanwhile him and his cohort were busy looting and milking the nations treasure,commited known and unknown astrocities,plunged the country into darkness,and for almost nine years relegated this country to almost nothing.Now this same man wants to come and sweet talk us into letting him be Presiddent.How would the International Communities looked at us,if IBB becomes Nigerian People?why would people like Raymond Dokpesi,whose TV station has stood over time to at least stand for the truth?what does Nigerians want from this country,is massive developmental projects,focus leaders who can transform both the social and economic aspects of the country?or a thieves,who called themselves business moguls,who have over the years looted this country,and still want to continue looting it?
Finally,i want to call on well meaning and thinking youth that wants a better Nigeria,to please sit down and assess the present state of this country and envisage the future,if it is somebody like IBB that the country needs at this time.I personally think we need a young,vibrant,and focussed leader,who can help transform things by repositioning our education system,creating jobs/employment for us,ensuring equal income distribution,price stability,equilibrium of balance of payment,susutainable economic growth,through lasting peace and security.
Fellow Nigerians lets think deeply.

I do not actually know what anyone stand to again here,Obj,is Nigeria's biggest leader,so should he be disgraced in far away US in a UN building and we stand here justifying that,then we all are clowns.For once,lets spare Obj all these rubbish we have been piling on him.If i may ask,is George Bush Jnr,better than Obj?Lets try and show some our leaders some respect.Thanks.

I feel sorry and ashamed for the Obi of Owa and the entire people of Owa kingdom who allows a dumb and unintelligent kind to rule them.A man who is not attune to the present happenings of the day.First and foremost,Maiduguri depends on the Niger Delta region for its allocations due to the oil money which is shared amongst the 36 states and the FCT.What the Obi of Owa doesnt know is that where were the so called Federal Govt when the likes of Ken Saro Wiwa where agitating peacefully for a resource control?Now,the present govt has listened to the so called militants to development the Niger Delta region because the only way the militants could be heard is to fight and fight until they were heard.
The Obi of Owa is so senseless that he does not know the word deprivation and exploitation that this region has been facing.Infact,the development of his bushy place Owa is as a result of the same oil money,what does Owa contribute to the Delta State Government?Infact,he is just been jealous that the boys are not from his town.The Ika speaking people have been known for criminality over the years,even one of his Kings was killed as a result of arm robbery.So why is he squirming?He is not fit to be a king in this region,because he is coward and a sell out.He is afraid of the Hausa people,and even the Hausa people were amongst those that urged the Amnesty because they know how they have exploited the region.
Shame to you,the Owa people for allowing a man with diarrhoea of the mouth to rule you people.All we need now in this region,are people with sound education and judgement,that bold and courageous,not the likes of the rotten Obi of Owa,whose mouth is a gutter,and whose heart is a chicken one.

I am actually speechless,but not surprise at all,because is becoming common with most Nigerian women.I would actually tell you to follow your heart,read your bible,and take a deep decision that you will not regret.If you still love her dearly,well,u could still marry,but that bastard must be killed or terminated.Though,your wife do not befit that name ''wife''any longer,because it is a sacriledge,but since she decides to put you to shame,my brother,also put her to shame too,by telling both families.Good luck in whatever decision you take.

I think we are getting it wrong here.first and foremost,Nuhu Ribadu,has right to visit anybody he feels he wants to.Achebe,has seen that with this current leadership in Nigeria,we are heading to the doldrum,and he is saying''wake Nigerian youth,and take your destiny into your hands''.Personally,i see no reason,why people are casting Ribadu the way they are doing it.Tell me,who amongst the people Ribadu dealt with that were not corrupt?I personally,do not care about the tribe that rules this country,but all i sincerely want is a president and leaders that addresses problems in a pragmatic way,and cause development in every nook and cranny of the nation.
What has it got benefit you,if your tribesman rules,and rules badly,wasting another opportunity.Lets try to shun tribalism in this country and unnecessary criticism,less we will be stampeded.Any country that call what is bad, good and what is good,bad,will sure remain stagnated.Lets celebrate people with proven credence,than celebrate the Iboris,Tafa Balolguns,IBBs,Abachas,etc of this world.
Leave Nuhu Ribadu alone,stop the unnecesary castigation,and see the positives in Chinua Achebe's speech.
