“Happy New Year!” This chant of joy is not new to you again, as it usually accompanies the birth of the new year and settles within the first month of the year.

The New Year which has just been conceived comes along with certain uncertainties and worries – at most less worries. After the new year celebration, one has to continue from where he/she stopped last year.

Last year 2020 accompanied a lot of events that hindered global activities Worldwide.

Majority of establishments were shut down due to the pandemic, Lack of food, No money, Some workers were layed off due the crumbling financial status of most firms etc, not good right?

Still in the same old year, most people earned a lot of money, fulfilled there plans and so on. Why is that so? Many would say they were lucky – I think so too, but it wasn’t all about luck, they prepared for it, though nobody saw COVID – 19 coming.

Below, there are few points with explanations to help you foresee and plan better to actualize a prosperous new year. They are:

1.SETTING GOALS: 
Goals simply means plans that one would want to accomplish.

Personally, I’m not a big fan of the phrase “New Year Resolution” but with time I have come to see reasons why it is also important in planning out the year if carried out.

Goals can be achievable if you set them within your capacity, what do you really think you can make out of this year?

Personally, I set goals at the beginning of every year and I divide them into two different categories which I define as the active and passive list respectively.

My active list contains certain things which I feel are under my control and is achievable. Example; Increase in the time of my weekly work out, Reading two books each month of the year and so on.

While I tag my passive list as a hope list, my passive list contains things that can be achieved by chance or an opportunity. Example; buying a house, buying a sports car etc.

Somebody earning $100 per month can not set an active list with a goal of buying a Lamborghini sports car, unless by chance he hits a million dollar opportunity.

Set goals within your limit for better achievements.

2. SAVE FOR THE RAINY DAYS: 
The rainy days don’t usually make an announcement ahead of there coming, one does not usually see them coming.

I define savings to be a sum money that one keeps diligently for a purpose or for a purpose that is not yet known.

Most salary workers that had the saving mindset and saved money reaped the benefits of saving during the 2020 lockdown.

Develop a saving mindset and will, it can save you from the unexpected.

3. EMBRACING TECHNOLOGY: 
There is a future, and only those that can foresee the future, can adjust themselves to meet the requirement of the future.

Technology has come to stay, with its enormous benefits, Improving to make life easier as the day go by.

Technology has been launched into diverse fields of study to make work easier. An accountant for example is basically required to have the knowledge Of operating the computer as a requirement for employment.

For somebody who studied Electronics Engineering in 1980 to remain relevant in that field of study, he/she needs to update to the trends of the now in his/her field of study. Things have changed, so have times also.

Any technological skill that may cross your path this year, please acquire it. During the time of the 2020 Lockdown, The field of technology was booming, even though workers worked virtually.

Tech skilled individuals were cashing out regularly. Skills like graphics designing, web designing, application development, digital marketing, data science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc were on high demand, are still are.

Learn a skill whenever you get an opportunity to do so.

The background has become white, but it is not visible along with the Black image, just white.

To merge them, you either select merge or you move the white layer below the black image layer. I go with the Later.

To move the white layer below the dark image, you touch the image as though you want to highlight it then you move it downwards.

After that you will notice the image has been merged. Then you touch the good symbol up till you see Save to Gallery

The fill icon can let you to fill a color to the background of an image. The fill icon will pop up a window of colours.

Select or touch white color, then you tick the good sign or icon on the top part of your screen.

The Draw section is an environment similar to the one in the image below. Then you touch the icon that looks like a stack of three loaves of bread, I actually call it the Layer icon.

After touching the layer icon a small window will come up on your screen then you touch the icon that looks like a Jug of water dropping down a mole. I actually call that icon the Fill icon.

But you will notice that the picture doesn't have any background color, well it us supposed to have a white colored. Let us fix it, shall we?

1. Slide left on the menu below till you locate Draw

Then select the symbol of good at the top screen.

Curves will bring out a graph like display for you with a line of 45° in it.. You touch the Tip of the degree line which is in a circle form and drag it down to an angle of 0°

After clicking on tools, it will bring out a window (Don't mind me) that contains different sub-tools, of which Curves will be there.

Then, Click on Curves

You need to be aware of how to cut images to flow with tutorial because that is the fist step.

First Step: You need to Cut out the image, the shape of the person (Your main focus area)

Second Step: Launch your PicsArt Application on your android smartphone and locate the already cutted image and touch it.

It will load you into an environment similar to the one on the picture below, then click on tools

Experts define Focus as the act of concentrating your interest or activity on something. But to many, this definition may appear a little bit boring, don't you think? Yeah I did think so at first, not until I discovered a key word hiding behind that brief definition.

The key discovery in that definition is simply choice. In order to concentrate on a particular task, one has to ignore every other task by default. This simply reminds me of the phrase "Let's take it one step at a time." This Phrase has a lot to talk about when it comes to focus. One task at a time let's u embark on the mission of unleashing your ability to focus, other tasks can come later.

Focus is one of the key make up component of Productivity. Let's say you booked a flight that is scheduled for 2:00pm tomorrow in order for you to convince the Managing Director brand on some business deals that could be beneficial to both companies, I believe anyone in this shoe will at some point today plan how this meeting is going to go, starting from what to say, drafting out possible questions that be asked and the answers, being ahead of time to both at the airport and the venue of this meeting, and lots more.

If more time were to be available, just maybe you may have procrastinated a bit, but no, you have now been forced due to deadline to choose your priority which will give you more ability of potentials to accomplish this task.

However, the ability of multitasking is seen as a better option. Multitasking can be done by anybody technically but focus-wise, I will give it a no. You can be eating noodles while watching the news on the television, but you are either focused on digging a fork into your noodle plate or you are focused on a particular headline on the television. Multitasking makes your brain to focus back and forth very quickly from either eating the noodles or watching the television.

There is a mental penalty for defaulters who multitask. The cost is simply "disruption in performance."

Imagine yourself in the middle of solving a calculus question and you are interrupted by a friend, you will find out that when the conversation is over, it takes you a few minutes to find your bearing. And "Bearing" I believe is another topic in mathematics different from what you are currently into.

Set out your priority from the Top first to the last and attend to them in that hierarchy.
