lightofjoy: Thanks for your response. Though call VHS office and they said I can use pen to correct the mistake on paper but I think I will prefer to follow your advise.
My question is if I withdraw & demand for refund today(I know it take 28 days for processing), can I also fill another form and do another payment today?
Pls urgent response needed.
yes you surely can has long has you register afresh then you can demand for the other refund if that makes you more comfortable

lightofjoy: Pls I need an answer to this question?

hey don't be alarmed same thing happened when i filled out my forms.after submitting and paying online i saw a lot of errors with dates and names.i then went to the website and saw that you can use a pen to correct the form you print out and send to them and that was exactly what i did.the home office know you may make errors online.vhs was very correct with the info you got from them.refunding and all would take so much time dont stress

Same thing with me Abbey. I concluded within myself that my own case is either because I am a first timer with a previous refusal.

Its really nothing to worry about though. Just go through your application form and be able to answer same thing u wrote when asked. If you used hotel booking, know the details. Also what you intend to do in the UK. I was also asked why my hubby n kids are not going on the trip with me.

Goodluck.
there is really nothing to be worried about guys so far your application is genuine.I was called for same in december and later found out that it is the new systrm now to randomly select people for interview which they just started last year.when I got there I was thinking there was a problem or something they wanted to ask me but was amazed that the questions where just simple questions based on my application and I was told that my passport would be sent to vfs after a week.and I got my passport. With my visa the following week.

From your manners and the overwhelming respect..., would i be wrong to assume that you are a (pure) Yoruba man?
Anyway, to respond to your original query, i like to suggest that since your daughter and your wife are not going to the UK for the same reason, it would be ideal for your wife to apply for her visa alone, and when granted, any or both of you can always (in future) apply for a visit visa for your daughter.
Things are easier when done orderly, and though, i am not outrightly saying that they would be refused visas if they (your wife and daughter) apply together, but there is a high chance that both of them would be refused on circumstantial ground.
hahahahahah I am a pure yoruba man but nevertheless I just have an understanding in life that when you are trying to get what you don't have from another person you have to be has humble has you can because if you argue or fight they mey hold on to the vital information that would solve your problem. Thanks for the advice of letting my wife apply first I feel its. Logically right to clear the air for un neccessary suspicions.I would think over it and keep on following the forum and updating you with anything I come up with since the applications is in the middle of the year so ill be planning through.thanks for your advice I appreciate.

More light to be shed on the issue for me because that's why I came to the forum to hear all the comments and opinion and advice from everyone in here.thank you sir

You claim that your "wife will be going to the UK to do a short course in London school of fashion", but what will she tell the visa officer that your daughter will be going to the UK to do also?

Your daughter is a minor, so by whose eligibility, or under whose rights is she visiting the UK?
As a person using a tourist visa on holiday in the UK, you are not eligible to invite your child to visit you in the country.
Well, I don't know how others might see this, but i must be honest to point out that your move is suspicious: and you don't want to give the visa officer some reasons to suspect that you and your family are migrating, do you?
hello thank you for your reply.but I don't think you took your time to read my first post before your conclusion sir.I am not on a tourist visa.I have been studying in the uk for over 4 years now and I am still studying and in the uk now.and if you read my second post you should have seen where I wrote about me getting my university to write a letter to back up which they ususlly do.my friends at uni invite there parents to come and visit them through the school.I really don't see anything suspicious in wanting my wife and daughter to visit me while am ere.what is the use of sending almost 12 million naira to school for 5 years if my wife and daughter can't even visit me for atleast once.I have a good record and history with the embassy I have come to nigeria twice now to renew so what are we saying ere mr vic justice

thank you very much that is more like an ecos question. Apparently my wife and daughter should be visiting me this summer and my wife is trying to use the opportunity to take the short course.but because there is no way she can take the course on the visitors visa the ukba advices to also fill student visitor course.so my child would be visiting her father. Who is on summer holiday too in the uk.am going to get my school to write the invitation letter supported with my own letter which they normally do for us.we have all finances to show and cover that they are able to come and go back with no issue moreover I am on my final year and also I have always put there names on my previous applications

You can only bring your family with you if you are doing a course at NQF level 7 lasting 12months or above.
I had a friend that was a student and. Wrote aletter to invite his mother come visit him last year in london I was suprised and felt he was lieing when he told me.I don't really want them to come and stay with me I just want them to have a visa that enables them to come spend some time in the uk with me.there should be a route to that.

You will not be given a visa there, you will still go home and wait for further communication from they.
Thanks very much justwise I attended the interview this morning and was asked some few questions about. My study and travel history and also on who is sponsoring me and what do I intend to do after my course.it was pretty calm and straight forward.i wasn't the only one even a lot of people on visit where called for interview and the security gave us the hint that they just started the new method of selecting people to interview.i was told at the end of the interview she would forward info on the interview to her coleuge in Abuja who would look into my application and then I should get my passport back ending of the week or early next week.i pray all comes out well in JESUS name.Amen!.

This is not an issue, British embassy started calling people at random for an interview couple of months ago, it could phone or face-face interview.

The questions will probably centred around your course and what you tend to do after graduation. These are questions anybody planning to travel to the UK to study should answer comfortably.
. Ohh thanks so much justwise so its not ny issue on ground then.I would just. Free style and just enligten myself more about my course then thanks a lot.do u personally know of any that went for an interview do u get your decision there and then or would still go home and expect vfs tracking and text.
