My plan is to start this type of strategy next week, bt initially, I was thinking of just going to drop CV, bt with ur revelation nw, I'm thinking of adding application to it... Bt I don't know maybe to include the post someone is applying for. I'm a graduate in Microbiology and certificate In HSE... Which I can fit in more than one position. Petroleum Engineering wasn't among the engineering disciplines outlined in the job opening. That's why there's no petroleum engineering syllabus and how is it then possible you applied for "executive trainee petroleum engineering."



What discipline did you guys apply for?

Your best bet is to study the chemical engineering material but petroleum engineering graduates won't be too familiar/comfortable with these:
• Chemical Reaction Engineering
• Instrumentation & Process Control
• Plant design and Economics
• Chemical Technology

These though might be fair because they are also/more of MechE
Process Calculations & Thermodynamics
• Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Operations
• Heat Transfer
• Mass Transfer

Anyway, study the material you applied for.
