The ministry is going through another level of revolution as God is now working mightily through the multimedia. Hence every dynamic Pastor needs to flow along and understand the basic concept of the multimedia ministry.

By multimedia ministry I mean preaching and teaching the word of God through available technologies such as the internet, mp3, PowerPoint presentations, video and audio means. There is much need to personally understand the workings of all these means and devices in other to maximize them for a better output in your ministry pursuit.

There is no doubt that the kingdom of this world (devil) and the Kingdom of God is at war over the media. The devil has cunningly and powerfully taken over the media and the kingdom of God through his skilled and dynamic “mouth-pieces” and “hand-pieces” is reclaiming back the media land for God.

We can now preach much more, write much more and impact more lives for God through this multimedia ministry. The world at large has now become our mission field through the multimedia ministry. Now that God is providing the resources for us, we must use them for kingdom expansion. Recently I discovered that preaching is not limited to the Pulpit. Is it enough to be rich?

Akinola Alabi is a man of intergrity, He does what he teaches, he is dependable.

I also bought in Daar communications shares but dont know what's happening with them.

So many a time, I found out that many newbies and even those who are already in business makes some mistakes that cause them a lot in their business pursuit.

1. IT'S ALL ABOUT HAVING MONEY : So many people think that the only thing they need to start a business is money. But that's a fallacy, the first thing that will propel you to start a business is an idea and after idea, proper planning. It is after the plan that you'll now be sourcing for fund, I know surely that at this stage, the money will come. Many have allowed their ideas to die as a result of thinking about money first.

2. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE : Business perish for lack of knowledge. some people as a result of having money dabble into business without having the prerequisite knowledge of running such business and as a result get their fingers burnt. Some of them give their money to friends or relatives to help them use it to do business and give them profits, at the end of the day they get disappointed by their trusted friends or relatives. There was a time I worked for a man, this man was working in a reputable airline company in Nigeria. 2 years before I started working for him, He gave his friend N600,000 to help him do a particular business, after 2 solid years, the business did not yield a single kobo. The friend was so wise that it was exactly that N600,000 that left when the stock and debt and money in the bank was valued. So the man collected all his things from his friend and started afresh. That was the time when I came in. The man acquired the necessary knowledge about that business and added N400,000 to his capital and the business continued. Could you believe that Just after Six month, the man resigned his airline job and joined me fully and we continue the business. I stand to tell you that when I have worked with him for 14 months and about to leave, we valued the asset and it was about N2,500,000 and that is below the selling price. what I want to draw out is that, the man find time to acquire the necessary knowledge about the business and created more time for it. So knowledge is very important in building business.

3. NO MARKET RESEARCH : Some people produce or stock some product and start looking for whom to buy the products. That's a big mistake. Before you produce any thing digital or material, you must first make a research on those who actually needs your product or service. You have to find a niche for your product or service. It is after finding a niche that you can then go ahead and produce or stock. The niche is just a collection of people or a market that needs a product or service.

4. MARKET SENTIMENT : Many base their choice of business on "den say". They say this business or that is good. They don't have the scope of that business. They think if "Victor" (for example) could run that business successfully, then I too can. That's a big mistake it can cost you a lot.

5.LACK OF CONCENTRATION : Some people want to become like dangote overnight. They will not build a business successfully before jumping on another so they fail. I am not saying it is not good to diversify but before you start diversifying, make sure you have built your business on a solid rock.

Above all, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom including the wisdom to succeed in business. Fear God and ask him to give you the wisdom you need to build a successful business. It shall be well with you.
