I am Nigerian grin cool. I really do mean it. I am Nigerian. I have got all the 3 major tribe's blood in me for real.

Paternal side.
Grandpa, Yoruba. Grandma, Hausa.
Dad (Yoruba Ofcos), Mum, Edo state.

Maternal Side.
Grandpa, Edo, Grandma, Anambra (Igbo)
Mum, Edo. Dad, Yoruba (Lagos)

Me? LAGOS BOY, MARRIED TO A YORUBA BABE. AFTER MY IGBO DUMPED ME grin

So i just answer, I AM NIGERIAN IN MOST CASES.
But if i were to chose, I would lean towards my aboki lineage. I have got northern friends in droves.

What does "Aje" mean?

In response to one of the contributors, who advised that you should consider "Okra crop"; you ended your rejection with the quoted word "Aje".

Are you sure you read the op's submission? And worries about Umahi loosing steam?. His ministry staying idle?

I don't do tribe bro!

Umahi is like a rodent that lost it's pathway, can't find it again, can't get smart and functional again.

Foreign Affairs / Re: The Judge Asked The Killer Of Former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat - by drake2(m): 9:17am On Jul 01
Kei144:
The judge asked the killer of former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat - "Why did you kill President Sadat?"

The murderer replied- "Because he was secular."

The judge immediately asked the next question – "What does secular mean?"

The killer said, "I don't know."

The man who tried to stab the deceased Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz was asked by the judge: "Why did you stab Mr. Naguib?"

The terrorist replied, "Because he has written the anti-religious novel 'Children of Gebalawi'."

The judge showed interest: "Have you read the novel?"

The criminal replied- "No."

The judge asked the murderer of Egyptian writer Farag Fouda - "Why did you kill Farag Fouda?"

The murderer replied- "Because he had no faith."

The judge was curious to know, "How did you know that he had no integrity?"

The terrorist's reply was - "Everything becomes clear by reading his books."

The judge's curiosity increased further - "In which book of his did you find the proof of his dishonesty?"

The killer admitted, "I don't know the name of the book. I haven't read it all."

The judge was surprised: "Why didn't you read it?"

The murderer said, "I don't know how to read and write."

Hatred never spreads through knowledge. Hatred spreads through ignorance. This is how society pays the price of ignorance, the price of keeping people ignorant.

Family / Re: Help A Farmer Survive Before Harvest by drake2(m): 8:14pm On Jun 27
Make a collage, panoramic picture views of your farm. This irritating thing put up there is already indicative of an annoying scam.

What kind of cropping system is that? And you are broke when your fictitious crops are barely 1 week old?

In the absence of post planting maintenance, you are asking for money to feed yourself or your crops?

You definitely won't harvest nothing from this sham and you don't have capacity to pay back any loan.

What a dotard in deception!

The pic na the 12yrs or the 25yrs old own? Who goes that person?

We both had same confusion?
But who keeps a child or children under the care of this thing?

Whoever did that should be equally punished.

With referençe to the pepper thing; it was a huge deterrence and probably still is to promiscuous and thieving minors back in the days.

I suspect strongly the 25yrs old wanted to deter the 12yrs old from what she caught her doing.

Something like; if you wanna start an adult play at this age, start with a wooden deek?

What do you guys imagine?

You are right; but it is not completely true. It takes a great deal of intelligence and mental prowess to be arrogant and impolite.

Umahi has non of those; He is a dotard!

And it is inherent in all the umahis.

This is a great period to enjoy journalism around this frustrated quack.

This has happened to me before. Mimicking some one's signature ain't easy.

It is better to say, you signed on behalf of a person.

There is no way, they could have reproduced that same fake sign. correctly and consistently on all other pages. Nigerians are shameless.

This signature just portrayed the judge like who don high finish on NAFDAC Produced ogogoro.

Them (Both men and women) sabi drink hot drinks (Alcohol in satchets) in Markudi morning till evening.

After them pass out, fulanis go come attack them.

They are iresponsibly culpable for their vulnerabilities. They are quick in burying their butchered relatives and move on to more buzz and easy sex.

My experience during my brief stint in Airforce base.

Isabella, good morning and many thanks for posting this article.

My query is that no effort was made to simplify the jargons in it to everyone's understanding; why is that?

There is great feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction when difficult, but hapifying contents like this are over-simplified for everyone.

Please repost another version; many many thanks!

When it comes to GMOs, even Arctic apples may have unforeseen consequences of genetic alteration and could impact human health.
There are not enough long-term studies to know how these foods will affect our health and the health of our food future.
Organic apples cannot be genetically engineered.

What is organic apple please?

Yes, toxic environment.

I should have known the day I went for interview. I waited over 40mins before I was attended to, but as at that time I needed a job badly.

Wk 1 mail wasn't working, after series of complaints, in space of 3 days it was fixed.
Wk 2 I observe certain persons wouldn't attend meetings but if I didn't attend hell will break loose and I will be given query
Wk 3 I saw shege in the hands of customers because of inferior quality of products
Wk 4 it dawn on me that it was an animal farm because some staff get certain benefits and you get none with so much responsibilities, oya pay me my money it got to the 2 week of the following month. I got the salary and told them,I will return shortly and I never came back 🔙

Yep. Very familiar. Toxic work space, arbitrariness and no SOP.

Good to know.

When were you in the University? And which one?

Besides Evanescence, where you into really the rock genre? Like: Metallica, Oasis, U2, Avril Lavigne, Stained, Puddle of mud, Blink 182, Creed, etc?

Rock is life. I began with Rock videos very early in life at MTV Europe (remember the Zombie song from the Cranberries?)

I still enjoy rock songs only.
