What is happening in the PDP? sad

I have just heard that another Governorship aspirant belonging to the PDP party has just been killed in his hometown.

Dr Daramola a Governorship aspirant in Ekiti. cry

May God help our country and politicians.

The PDP members should have an emergency meeting to stop all the violence in their party or loose their reputation indefinitely. angry
Romance / Can You Date Or Marry Someone Older Than You? by drtess(f): 8:09am On Aug 14, 2006
HI! GUYS, smiley wink cheesy

Hope you had a great week cos i definitely did.

Anyway my question is, should age be a big issue in a relationship.
I would like your opinion.
Can you marry someone younger than you as a lady?

And as a guy can you marry or date an older woman?

What do you think the ideal age difference should be between you and your date or spouse and why?

My Comments
As for me, i can't date a younger guy and my ideal age difference should be 4 to 6 years.
This is because i feel i am a mature person and most guys my age do not think maturely, so i would prefer to date an older guy that would be able to reason on my level.

Cheers.

Car Talk / Re: What Model Of Car Is Best For Nigerian Roads? by drtess(f): 4:39pm On Aug 08, 2006
Guys, guys, lets be mature adults and stick to the topic.
No more "IN your Face" talk okay!!!! embarassed shocked

Now back to the topic, smiley
For rough roads i would go for a Jeep any day. cool

For smoooth roads and bearing in mind the cost of fuel, i'll go for fuel efficient cars like Toyota or any other good japanese cars. cool

For ruggedness and cars that are durable, i'll go for a volvo. cool

But if i have to put everything together then i'll just have to find a japanese made jeep both for fuel efficiency and use on rough roads. cool wink

Cheers!!!
Health / The Facts That You Were Never Told About Fasting. by drtess(f): 3:50pm On Aug 08, 2006
Hi guys smiley, i found this really neat website that talks about fasting and the facts that people are not aware of and thought i should share it with you.

1. Do you know that Fasting is Very Healthy for you.

2. Do you know that by regularly fasting you can live longer if you do it the proper way.

3. Do you know that when you fast your body emitts M.E.S.S. which are body toxins released during a fast.

It is the body's way of cleaning out itself and therefore the reason for why people smell bad when they embark on a long fast.

Food / A Quick Meal For You: Based On Noodles by drtess(f): 11:40am On Aug 02, 2006
A Quick Meal For You To Enjoy

Hi! all, smiley

If you like pasta and stuff like that you'll definitely love this quick meal.

Recipe:- A satchet or two of noodles.
Suya or barbecue meat from your favourite barbecue seller.
1 onion bulb

Preparation: It takes about 5 to 10 mins to prepare.

Put a little water in a pot to boil for 2 to 3 mins then add your noodles.

Leave to boil for another 3mins.
When the noodles is properly stemed or a little boiled add the spice that comes with it, then also add the Suya or barbecue meat with the fresh onions and allow it to stem for 1 to 2 mins.

Serve in a plate and have a nice meal. SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!!!!! tongue tongue

This meal is ideal for students or those that have to rush out .

It is easy and fast to prepare.

The only disadvantage is that you may have a challenge of getting the suya or barbecue meat.
So you can only enjoy it most times in the evenings when you can get the suya.

What makes it particularly tasty is the oninons and the spices from the suya meat itself. The combination is simply great.

Try it out and i promise you,you won't be disappointed.

Have a great week! smiley wink
Religion / Is Christianity Truly Synonymous With Truth And Development? by drtess(f): 11:12am On Aug 02, 2006
We have often heard the statement" the gospel truth"

In a country like Nigeria does this really apply to speaking the truth like we know it?

Also many of my friends seem to believe that Christianity brings enlightenment and Development, Do you think this is true?

Especially these days where we see different churches springing up. As this really helped to contribute to our grow and development?

I would like your views on this topic. smiley
Politics / Re: Funsho Williams, PDP Lagos State Governor-to-be, Killed! by drtess(f): 11:02am On Aug 02, 2006
I believe that all the guys at NMA should be thoroughly investigated, something stinks around there.

Ogunlewe looks like the must visible susoect but somehow i don't believe he is guilty.
He may however be guilty for having a loud mouth and being very lousy!!!!! angry
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Intercontinental Recruitting by drtess(f): 11:23am On May 31, 2006
undecidedThanks for the information, however we were asked to submit our passport photograph together with our application and CV online but there was no adequate provision made to attach the photo. I just submitted my CV anyway but will this count or would we be penalised for this?

And how do we then add the photo?

I'll appreciate a reply please.
Thanks. smiley

TV/Movies / Re: Cuando Seas Mia: 'When You Are Mine' by drtess(f): 10:21am On May 26, 2006
First of all, i would like to say, i'm very fascinated at how men and women are so hooked up with this program.
I wonder what all the fuss is all about.
I hate soap operas because of their addictive nature.

Anyway a colleague of mine brought the script containing the whole story of the program to work and i can categorically say: for all you lovers of this program that the two love birds paloma nad diego, i think got married and had to kids. So as usual the story ends on a good note.

Cheers!!
i'm outa here for now!! wink
Jobs/Vacancies / Please Be Careful When Sending Your Cvs Online. by drtess(f): 9:13am On May 26, 2006

Please be careful when sending your Cvs online. You know that your CVs contain some of your personal details, so please be careful when sending it out.
A lot of people also like to take advantage of jobseekers to collect money from them.
Anyone requesting you to send your Cvs to a free account like yahoo, hotmail etc, should be cautious because any reasonable and good organisation always have their own customised site.

SO BE WARNED.!!!

All the best in your jobsearch.

Cheers. wink

Romance / Re: Ladies Pretends by drtess(f): 2:41pm On May 23, 2006
smileyWell i don't think all ladies fall into this category.
Some ladies say yes when they mean yes.

I also think a good reason for this is because a lot of girls would like a guy to work hard to get them, so they wouldn't appear too cheap or be taken for granted.

I know of a realtionship where the lady said yes because she really liked the guy and later the guy started messing up and she felt guilty because she thought it was because the guy got to go out with her easily.
cool shocked
Religion / Re: The NBC ban of unverified TV miracles in Nigeria by drtess(f): 12:00pm On May 19, 2006
grin
Hello everyone, i'm pretty new to this site but the topic caught my attention and i decided that i would contribute to this topic.
First of all, after reading all your comments, i would like to suggest to you all TO GROW UP AND STICK TO THE TOPIC OF DISCUSSION.
What i can observe here is a couple of people with their own different beliefs trying to impose it on others.

The topic is on the Ban on showing miracles on T.V . I think the NBC was wrong to do that because if you take a look at the NBC's rules and regulation there was no cause or decree to that effect.

Anyway let God be God!!!

God does deal and is interested in the affairs of men.

I believe strongly in "TIME".

As the apostle said in the bible "Time will always prove itself and the truth will always stand the test of time".

Have a nice day and let us always stay with the topic and not digress from it.

WE ARE ALL GOD'S CREATION whether we likew it or not.

PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! smiley wink
Religion / Re: Must A Good Christian Attend Church? by drtess(f): 10:18am On May 19, 2006
Well i like what milk baby has said so far,
I really see you as someone mature in the things of God.
To share my view, I believe very strongly that as a christain you should go to church because the bible commands it. NEVER FORGET OUR GATHERING TOGETHER.
Yes as a believer we are the Church cos the bible calls us the temple of the living God but then it also tells us that when we come together, we are able to sharpen ourselves and learn from each other and the spirit of God in unity.

I would also like to say that the Church was never designed for perfect people but for those who are willing to learn at the feet of Jesus so that they can improve themselves and become the perfect person. So please when you meet all sorts of people in church, try to accomodate them and let the love of God flow from you to them. We are all people with different reasons for seeking God but the most important thing is for us to find him, build a relationship with him and let others feel this same Agape love. So the world can be a better place to live in while we wait for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

With Joe out of the house , i've really lost interest in BB Nigeria because i felt hje was the only real and down to earth person in the house. Well what i have learnt from our viewers is that people love the fake like and can never really handle the truth.
As for JFC voting out Ebuka, well may be they took the wrong step but then you can't blame them for trying to eliminate any threat to their man cos that was what i sensed from the vote.
Anyway, what was the big deal about Ebuka anyway aside from his fine face, he contributed practically nothing to the house, except to drink Guiness. Joe on the otherhand was very handy, he could handle the house chores, design his clothes very well and to add to all these he make a GREAT COOK!!! Well what else can a lady ask for in a great guy?
Anyway, for all it's worth i don't like any of the housemates left in the house because i think they are all fake especially that IFY with her fake accent.
Come on! even my accent is better and more natural than hers.

IFY, you've got to learn to be real and stop playing for the camers.

With all the people left, i hope FRANK wins because i think he is an okay person.

But like i said earlier, with Joe out of the house, BB Nigeria is no longer the show it used to be and i've lost interest in it.
sad

NOT GUILTY!!!!!
Well what can i say about this topic.
I DON"T THINK ANGELINA IS GUILTY.
You guys obviously don't have your facts right.
Before Angelina starred along side Brad pit in the film Mr. and Mrs Smith his marriage was already having problems.
For one Jennifer was not ready to settle down with the family life and was very much into her career, Brad on the otherhand happens to like kids a ot. Anyway, he developed an interest in Angelina and her work with the UN refugee, which by the way i think is brilliant. God bless her efforts for Africa.

I think the two of them are well suited and i wish them well with their work and family in the future. smiley wink
