THIS SHORT WRITE UP IS MAINLY FOR NCE/OND/SSCE FIRE SERVICE APPLICANTS

for those having difficulty in uploading dia passport under NCE/OND/SSCE cadre should simply follow dis simple steps.

1. sign up

2. login

3. fill the forms up to the level of uploading passport

4. pls don't let ur passport KB to exceed 5kb

5. after uploading, click on my profile and upload again

6. den click on new application and refill all the form over again starting from my position

7. when you get to d final stage, just click on submit (don't bother urself clicking on uploading passport anymore)

8. then u will preview and ur passport will show along with ur application and then u move on to print.

9. NOTE: Ur passport won't appear b4 u submit, don't wait or waste ur time waiting for the passport to appear b4 submitting unlike prison and fire service for Bsc. it won't appear until after u submit it.

The link for the lower cadre is back and working perfectly now.

The site is currently undergoing server maintenance...i mean the fedfire.gov.ng site

I noticed something on the lower cadre site...
Until you finished up with the registration and submit for preview before you will be able to upload your passport.
Your passport must not be more than 5kb, if possible, make it less.
The site is not yet stable as it goes offline and come back online, you will just keep refreshing (that is how i have been doing since morning)
If you are able to finish up with the reg, kindly use the chrome browser to print out your acknowledgement slip as it is only the chrome browser that will able to print the whole data and keep it in shape
But the Higher cadre link is working perfectly without glitch

Try and log in again, allow the passport to load before sending to the printer, i experienced same too with someone i reg for.

What Position are you applying for?
After slecting your state, you will need to give the site a little time to load your state LGA...
just chillaz for like few seconds it will bring the LGAs in your state.

For the fed.fire.gov.ng link, the site is currently down, i guess they are working on the glitches on the site like the passport that is not loading and the submit button not working. But the second link for those registering with degree is perfectly working well.

I spent less than 15 minutes to register.
Things to consider
1. make sure u remove the 'www' in front of the address and just paste it in your browser
2. UC web works just fine!
3. If u have problem with uploading your passport. Go to Google store and download photo and picture resizer it's just 8mg and your problem will be solved.
That's all!

I even spend less than that time sef!
but i noticed that the other site fedfire.gov.ng is not going at all while the other one is moving speedily.

Just Open your Passport with Paint by right clicking on your mouse and choose open with paint. Then click resize and input 60x60pixels and then save. You are good to go

Yes, you can download the VPN from Google Play Store and you can type it on Google as well.

Just connect the VPN, and you are good to go.

For those that are having issues loading the site through chrome, just download any free vpn, connect the vpn, then go back to your chrome browser and you're good to go

See I don't know how to pray for you, but I pray that you will always meet help anywhere you face for help, you won't be stranded never in your life's journey.
Since I have been trying to use the chrome to open the site, it never open but with your tip of downloading the VPN! The site just opened very well now OK chrome, I was able to save those forms too using those trucks earlier mention by fabem (clicking the share and print) without even turning my data on before the page disappear.

Guys, kindly download VPN, connect the VPN, open a new a tab on your chrome browser (Mobile) and the site will open easily.

To save your Forms:
After the submission has been done, click any of the form first, another page will pop up (allow the page to load fully for all the data to come up) quickly click the three dot (Menu bar) by the right hand side of the URL box, click SHARE, click Print and click PDF from the next page you see, you will be able to save like that.

Note: put your Chrome browser in "Desktop View" for better usage.

Hi guys,

Any browser you are using and you know is perfectly working for you, you can save your reference and referee form with it. The major problem is just that Moxilla will only save the first page and the second page will be empty and that is why i prefer using chrome because it saves both pages.

Also, once you open your referee and reference form, off your data. Once you off your data, you will be able save in PDF files. The site is now opening without any hitch. I have applied for more than 8 Applicants just today alone and most are Nairalanders.

Frankobinna1234 and Heneverfails; I used your trick now to save the two forms successfully by putting my phone to airplane mode once it load the page. It kept the form on the page without disappearing. After clicking printing and I saved it, the one page form was now divided into 2pages and also, it scattered the text.
I don't know if that is how it is with you. Please kindly respond.
