I got admission last spring at Louisiana State University Lafayette but couldn't secure funding. So I want to ensure I get concrete info before applying to schools. |

Good morning all. Please is it possible for me to get admission and funding in a US school with my profile: GPA 3.82/5.0 and GRE score of 303 Quant (153) and Verbal (150). I have paid for WES evaluation but NASU strike in OAU is stalling the process. I will greatly appreciate your inputs and suggestions regarding schools I can apply to. |

Seriously, government need to do something urgently about this yahoo plague that has befallen the country, it is eroding every of our achievements and killing the youths. I think one way of reducing the influx of youths into this menace is by punishing every yahoo guy caught together with their family and friends that benefitted from the proceeds. 3 Likes |

afonjaheadhunt: I don't comment on bigotry or tribalism posts but I will make an exception with this. Nobody is holding you guys from leaving, as a matter of fact, I'm an ardent supporter of Biafra exit. But you guys should know that you are already and still making more enemies for yourselves and you have failed to realise that no nation can survive on its own, there will always be need for regional integration. You're busy making enemies online thereby jeopardizing the lives of your brothers and sisters living outside of Igbo land. |

I was born into ccc and it was more than a home for me but later changed church around 2002 because I wanted to be very grounded in the scriptures which I felt I wasn't getting in ccc. To be sincere, I still haven't been able to secure a permanent church, it's like something is always missing. The only church that ever came close to being home doesn't have branches spread across the country. I do miss ccc and I still find myself going for some of their program but I'm kind of still waiting for a conviction to go back. |

DropShot: Seriously, tell me one single policy that this govt has gotten right. Are you not in this same Nigeria or you have another market that you get your goods from? Some of us know that fixing and having a viable economy is not a rocket science but you will agree with me that this administration has no clear cut direction. The naira has been so dealt a terrible blow due to their weak and biased monetary policy and inflation is at all time high of 18.3%. Nothing seems just to be working! During GEJ tenure, most people agreed that corruption level was huge but he and his team did a great job of managing the economy and bequeathed to PMB a country with 4th fastest growing economy. But just after two years, everything has dabaru! If you like call me a wailer, but you can't be a buharist more than I am. I know what I did to convince people to vote for him, countless number of arguments I raised and won in PMB favour prior to the elections. The fact must just be said. 2 Likes |

Crime / Re: My Experiences With Pick-pockets by durosegun(m): 7:34pm On Jun 26, 2015 |
@OP, I wasn't lucky as you were. I had a terrible experience in the hands of pickpockets like four years ago, when I was still working in a company on agindigbi road, ikeja. It was on a Saturday afternoon and I just finished from work, I just exited the company's gate when one of two guys on a bike waved at me and asked to wait. I first ignored him but he kept on making gestures that implied that he knew me somewhere so I stopped. He came to where I was standing and we both shook hands. I wanted to leave cos I was feeling unease then he asked me if I knew anyone by the name ifeayin that was living in omole estate. I told him that I had a friend by the name but he was living in ikeja and not omole. The next I noticed was the guy grabbing me by trouser, telling me that he would have done worst to me if I had offended him the day he saw me with my friend in ikeja. Bro, I was lost and was just wondering about what was happening. I shook the guy's hand again and we both agreed that it is good to always do good and the guy went for the bike that brought him and he left. As I was thinking about the drama that just happened, my mind quickly went straight to my wallet which was inside my back pocket and I felt relieved that it was there and immediately I felt that my front pocket was no longer heavy, my phone was gone. I was dumbfounded cos I didn't even know what to do, I couldn't scream and I couldn't do anything. I called thenumber but it was switched off. Ever since then I have stopped giving audience to people I don't know on the road. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

NOI really did a good job in articulating how both past and present administrations came to incur such huge debt but she should have also given us details about the revenue generated by the present administration compared with the previous administrations of Obj and Yaradua, and how the monies were put to use. |

This is a very good and commendable judgment as it will serve as deterrent to all the lawyers who feel they have our judicial system in their pockets and can therefore carry out manipulations as they see fit. The same Oyinlola whom this man sacrificed his career for is now in the same party with Aregbesola, both winy and dining together. Moral of the story: Don't allow yourself to be used by anybody to do something that's illegal because nobody is really worth it. And remember, person wey dem break coconut for hin head no go fit chop inside. |
