Business / Affordable Packaging And Labelling Services Needed. by e4e5d4d5: 5:49pm On Jul 15, 2015 |
I am searching for information concerning packaging and labelling companies/services. I want to package a product in small bags ( about the size of a 25kg (half bag) of rice), the second product is a liquid which I want to package in 10 litre jerrycans. I also want to label the two products. Anyone with information on any company/individual providing these services and located in the south-east/south-south please reply. Thanks. |

Agriculture / Agricultural Input Supplier. (please Read!!!) by e4e5d4d5: 11:03pm On Nov 25, 2014 |
I am currently a student in university but i have always had a passion for agriculture and I have decided to go into agriculture after graduation.I have been doing my research into various fields of agriculture, and I have to say that nairaland has been very helpful. While still in school I have decided to go into agriculture input supplies.I plan to supply quality agricultural input(mainly from the U.S) at affordable prices to farmers in Nigeria.I have a few questions I would like to ask nairaland farmers who maybe interested in purchasing supplies 1) As a Nigerian farmer what are the supplies which are difficult to obtain in Nigeria and would help agriculture in Nigeria greatly if available. 2) Also if you have ever been involved in trading of agricultural material where buying and selling wasn't done face to face what would you say is the most reliable means of funds transfer to ensure safe buying and selling. Your opinions and comments would be greatly appreciated. If you would be interested in getting any supplies please message me or leave a comment on the thread.Thanks. |

If you do not want to participate in the true omenani then please do not. . . .but it is totally wrong to say that we have to reform our spiritual practices to a carnival showcase in order to suite those that are christians. .I don't see any one saying that catholic mass should be turned into a circus performance 2 Likes |
Agriculture / Re: Vietnamese Agricultural Workers - The Best Choice For Your Recruitment by e4e5d4d5: 8:47am On Nov 22, 2014 |
world1: Maybe you have a different view on the agricultural sector, but my view on agriculture is that it should be used not only as a job for personal profit but as means to bring change and progress in the society, I understand that alot of young people are not willing to work today and alot of things don't function as they should in Nigeria. But ask yourself this question; Will it be better for me to persevere in the present conditions and try to use my resources to better my own society or will it be better if I allow my resources to be used to build foreign lands and then in the next 30-50 years my children and grandchildren will be hustling for visa at foreign embassies because these foreign lands are "more developed" |

ProffT01: As Nigerians and Africans we must support our own people, how do you contribute to youth employment or educating the youth on Agriculture if your plan is to import workers from Asia. Sometimes you have to overlook the short term benefits and consider the long term benefits of your actions. Go to Asia, Europe and America and see whether there is any place that recruits millions of Nigerians or Africans for any reason. 2 Likes |

STOP THIS BASTARDIZATION OF AFRICAN HISTORY AND CULTURE PLEASE. IGBO PEOPLE ARE AFRICANS . .AS AN IGBO MAN I AM AN AFRICAN. ..I'M NOT CONNECTED IN ANYWAY TO JEWS , HEBREWS & ISRAEL. I wonder who started spreading this ridiculous theory that igbo pple have origins in Israel, egypt or jewish/hebrew ancestry. . UTTER NONSENSE Different igbo towns have different stories of origin, which can roughly be categorized into three 1) Those who believe their ancestors came from the sky or emerged from the earth (e.g Towns like umueri/aguleri and the Nri clan area) (2) Towns whose founders came from other pre-existing igbo commmunities (3) Towns whose founders came from other places which were none igbo (like Eik,ibibio, Bini, igala e.t.c) but eventually settled and founded igbo communities. ANYBODY THAT DREAMS UP ANY OTHER STORY OF ORIGIN LIKE THIS JEWISH/HEBREW NONSENSE IS A COMPLETE MAD MAN. 1 Like |

To what extent are the various ijaw languages distinct. . .e.g to what extent can an abonnema person understand an akaha or igbani speaker. . .are the various ijaw languages branches more like dialects of a common language or are they distinct languages on their own? ? |
Culture / Re: A Brief History Of Ikwerre.(port Harcourt) by e4e5d4d5: 2:44am On Sep 01, 2014 |
@Op . . . .according to some accounts the ikwerre pple have Bini origins and claim to speak a distinct language. . . And I don't doubt that but I want to know, why is it that the language and culture of present day ikwerre is similar to that of igbo. . .. . You don't have Obas but you have Ezes, the council of traditional rulers is known as Ogbako Ikwerre (and in igbo ogbako/nzuko means a gathering/council), some "ikwerre" names r just dilaectical adjustments of igbo names e.g weli (Nwaeli/Nwani), nmerukini (mmeregini) , ndahmerem (nnaemerem) , wopara (Nwaopara), chiburuoma (chidinma) Even the name which you claimed to be the original name of the Ikwerres is actually of igbo root I.e iwhnurohna = ihru o ha = iru ora which in igbo means face/front of the people /community . Again I'm not doubting the ikwerre origin story I just want to know how ikwerre became so heavily influenced with Igbo if they are not of igbo descent. Anyway , what ever the case is I believe a people should have the right to choose whatever identity they like , if the Ikwerre people want a sovereign non-igbo identity, then that's okay. But care should also be taken not to twist historical facts for sentimental reasons. As a port harcourt resident I have to say : Ikwerre meka!!!! Rivers state meka!!!!!! Eli ikwerre bu eli nwere ngwugwu!!!!!!!!!! 5 Likes 1 Share |
