My spousal visa application was granted. Got my passport this morning. Glory to God. Thanks for everyone on his platform for their help and submissions so far. I have been a silent reader and used and follow everything I've read on here.

Whew!!! What a long wait.
Country - Nigeria (TLS)
Biometrics - August 9th
Type of Application - Standard
Email confirming Information sent by TLS- August 9th

No Emails received in between application.

DHL Phone call to pick up my package at their office( quite strange as I received no notification from TLS or immigrations) - October 28

Date of decision - October 23rd

Glory to God. Travelling in 3weeks.

But I have a question. The validity of my stay on the attached letter states 30th October 2019- 30th July 2022. That's 2yrs9months. I thought it should be 2yrs5months?

Thanks

Learnt a lot from here. Was a silent member for a long time. Thanks for the resources available for intending applicants.
Good news await those still waiting. Amen!

No, that wouldn’t be a problem. What’s important is that you have all the necessary documents to support your relationship.

Wrote only Civil, even though we did the traditional same day as the regsitry. Hope that's not a problem.
Thanks.

What type of wedding did you have? If it’s registry and traditional ceremony, you’d put ‘civil and traditional ceremony’. If it is registry and church then ‘church and civil ceremony’ and so on

If these mistakes by the ECO are true then reapply anytime and point out those mistakes in a letter clearly pointing out those mistakes.
I have gone back to check my statement and the transaction questioned was a cash transfer and not cash deposit and it was 1,634,600 and not 1,534,600 as stated by the ECO. And my submitted statement didn't end on may also as stated by the ECO in the refusal letter. The fund was for a supply I did for a band to acquire musical instruments for them . my statement of account shows the outflow of what I paid my dealer to supply me the goods and the invoice that I was issued. I also issued a receipt to them for the money I was paid. Both of this invoices was part of my application and also the transfer slip I used for that transfer to my dealer. The money wasn't lodged, I only made 140k profit from that transaction. Prior to that march I was paid 2.3m for an installation I did for a church and I also included the receipt I got for the equipments I bought. That 2.3m wasn't questioned at all.

Please what other ways can one prove source of find apart from receipts and invoices looking at the nature of sound engineering job being informal. Just a phone call , negotiate price, submit list and you get paid.

Please I want to reapply asap.. My fiancé is coming to Nigeria this weekend and we plan going back together for the Christmas and new year holiday.
Thanks.

Got my package by courier today. Application was denied.

My fiancé invited me for 11 days as her father insisted that I visit before we get married and relocate that he doesn't believe in gambling.

I studied this thread for almost 1month before I apply.

I have 2 jobs, I submitted payslips from both jobs. I work in a church and I also work as a project manager for a company which I started in September. I also freelance as a sound engineer which is work I'm doing for the church . I do installation of sound equipment, setup for rallies, crusade, parties and occasions and I also purchase equipment for churches and sound group from Alaba. I make enough money from this.

I submitted my statement from February to show a pattern in my account because sometimes my balance is low as I have to supply goods before getting paid. All these I explained in my cover letter defending my statement from zenith and STANBIC. Attached about 40 evidences in receipt, invoices issued and received, statement from my sister showing the money I transfered to her and her husband to help raise 2000 catfish in their fish farm. Chats from me and customers.

Don't know what to do. How soon can I reapply and what do I need to do. The ECO obviously made a mistake as I applied for priority so I can travel in December. I didn't have a cash deposit of the said amount to my account on the said date, and also my statement didn't end on may, it ended in November. Just confused.
