Literature / The Pastor Wife. Episode 1 by Eazyclick14(m): 4:40pm On Dec 18, 2019
That morning, my husband David came to pick me at the airport. He was dry faced and tensed, very unusual. Other times, David would be so excited to come pick me, he would kiss me and hug me passionately, but now, everything became different. “You kept me waiting for hours in there.” I said, gazing angrily at him. “Don’t tell me it’s traffic honey, today is Saturday.” “I am sorry, I had to pick the kids from summer lessons, and then rush to church to counsel a few couples.”He said soothingly. “you now prepare the kids for school, What happened to Ifeoma? she is the kids nanny.” “And you are the Kids mom!” He Screamed suddenly. “you’ve been away from your family for 5months Ekom, the kids don’t even talk about you anymore.” David deliberately slowed his breathing in a bid to calm himself down. I was silent for a while. my lips quivered, but David ignored that he saw tears glistening in my eyes. Catching his eyes as he tried to look at me, I sensed a shiver of unease go through him. He was right, I was away from my family for four months or more, I had women’s conference and hundreds of women to mentor in Houston. It was a moment I didn’t want to miss. Then I broke the silence; “what of Ifeoma?” David looked uncertain. “she fell ill, so I asked her to go see Doctor Dennis.” We were both quiet until we got home. I sat on my bed now, I slipped off my slippers and sank my feet into rug and decided to keep them sunk in so that my toes would feel cushioned. So that a part of me would feel safe. “mummy!” my daughter screamed, breathing deeply. She smuggled into my arms and I grabbed her tight to myself. “where is your sister?” I whispered into her ears. “she is sleeping.” Not long I heard tiny foots running along the corridor that led to my room. “mummy, mummy…” She jumped on me and kissed me on my cheeks, leaving me in the sweet comfort of motherhood. They looked so healthy and chubby. “what has aunty Ifeoma and Daddy been feeding you with?” “Golden morn and banana porridge!” they chorused shrilly. “Mummy, Church people said that you are no longer daddy’s wife.” My first daughter Teye said, her eyes became sad. Deep and sad. “Aunty Ifeoma Now sleeps in daddy’s room.” Mfon the youngest said. My heart jumped, I knew at that moment, that there were stories In their eyes that I was yet to know. I was still devastated with the thoughts of Ifeoma and my husband David. After I watched the kids sleep, I strolled into the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea. Just after I poured the milk in a mug, I felt someone was in the kitchen too. I looked back, quickly surprised. “Welcome madam.” She said, almost stuttering. I slowly poured the hot water from the flask into the mug, stirred it a bit and sipped. Then I noticed a protruded stomach, she had tried to cover it with her handbag. “Are you pregnant Ifeoma? you look it.” I asked in a soft tone. Her expression was in earnest. “Yes madam, didn’t pastor tell you? I am pregnant for him, we are expecting a child.” Her voice had a tremor in it, even though her face was bold and firm. Her words were like the score of a sharpened blade across my heart. I sensed the wound gape open even before she’d finished speaking. “You were sleeping with my husband while I was away?” “I am sorry madam, I think pastor is in the best place to answer that question. it was an agreement.” She said calmly and walked out of the kitchen, making a flappy sound with her shoes. I stood there for moments like a mannequin, the tea cup in my hands, and then my eyes right at the door. The sound of my ringing tone, brought me back from the shock I had. “Hello Ekom?” “Yes Lizzy.” I responded with a sigh of relieve. “Thank God I have been able to reach you, I have been dialing your American lines but not going through.” she sounded a bit terrified. “well, I am back in Nigeria now. I came in this morning. Is everything fine?” “Not at all, pastor brought your girl for maternity scan at my clinic last weekend. What’s that her name again?” “Ifeoma?” “Iyaaa, Ifeoma. I was shocked to see her all over him like they were lovers. What is happening?” Tears rolled down my eyes as Lizzy went on talking about things that went on while I was away. Something flared deep in my eyes, but my lips remained sealed. I was stricken silent, but the thud of my heartbeat sounded like cannon fire in my ears.

Jokes Etc / 10 Things To Avoid In Marriage Or Relationship by Eazyclick14(m): 4:38pm On Dec 12, 2019
1. Don’t marry or date someone you cannot celebrate in public.
2. Don’t fall in love with someone you cannot trust. If you cannot trust your man or woman with your friends, then, pack up that relationship.
3. Don’t compare your partner with anyone no matter the case involved. Accept him or her for who he or she is and not for what he or she is.
4. Don’t get involve in double-dating or multiple-datingbecausethat is uncivilized, unchristain culture and is quite expensive venture.
5. Don’t marry a ” Cowboy ” who will turn you sooner or later into a punching bag. If he slaps you now he has not paid your bride price, what happens when he pay your bride price. The muscles on his body should be for your protection and not for Mike-tysoning your peace Cum beauty.
6. Don’t marry “Momsy-boy”. He fall in love with you because his mother approves it and tomorrow, he walk out of that same love because his mother says you are a witch or don’t know howto cook. Leave him simple. He is a ” my mother says” breed.
7. Don’t marry a SHOPRITES FREAK, except you own a shoprite. But, if he or she makes the buck, you can rethink your position. Never forget, what makes for a successful marriage or relationship do not come from shoprites or shoplefts.
8. Don’t marry a se x champion because se x alone doesn’t make a relationship or marriage to work. Come to think of it, whyshould you have se x with someone outside marriage? Please, close your legs, biko! If you have se x before marriage, you build suspicion into the very foundation of your marital life.
9. Don’t marry for your friends. If your friends opinions differs from yours on who to marry, please follow your personal conviction because you can tolerate and live with your own mistake thereafter.
10. Don’t fall for a Crying-johnney or crying- Janet because there could be more than you can ever imagined behind the drama king or queen. Tears deceives the mind easily.

Crime / Young Lady Dies During Hot S*x In Generator Room, Family Makes Shocking Demand by Eazyclick14(m): 10:36am On Dec 12, 2019
Daisy, who is said to be asthmatic, suffocated during the act due to the carbon monoxide produced by the generator.
A Highfield form three girl is reported to have died on Saturday evening at PamaStones Shopping Complex in a generator room whilst having s*x with a man only identified as John.
The Highfield High 1 School pupil, only identified as Daisy, is reported to have entered a generator room of a local bottle store at the complex with John for a ‘pleasurable moment’ which ended up taking her life.
John is said to be a tuck-shop attendant at one of the tuck-shops at the same complex. Daisy, who is said to be asthmatic, suffocated during the act due to the carbon monoxide produced by the generator.
John who is reportedly in hospital survived by a whisker after he was found gasping for air when people broke into the generator room after he had fallen on the power cable which cut off power in the bottle store.
“The guy was found gasping for air; people had to break into the generator room.
“He fell onto the power cable which disrupted power in the bottle store, so people rushed to the generator room only to find it locked and broke in and found the girl with no pulse but the guy still had pulse and was gasping for air.
“He had to be rushed to the hospital but I’m not sure which one,” said a source.
Another source revealed that the girl’s family were not taking the issue lightly and did not want to bury their daughter until the bride price has been paid.
“It is being said the girl’s family don’t want anything to do with the burial until John’s family pays bride price because John was already taking her as a wife by sleeping with her,” said the source.

Celebrities / "Human Rights Is Nothing To Celebrate In Nigeria" - Banky W by Eazyclick14(m): 2:55pm On Dec 11, 2019
Respected Nigerian musician cum politician in an Instagram post on his page today has called on Nigerians to take action on the issues bedevilling the country.
The EME boss who cited issues like gender inequality, gender-based violence, human rights abuse, social media bill among others urged Nigerians to ensure that they do something in their own way to put an end these persistent issues.
In his post, he revealed that he has been working with the European Union and the British Council on a campaign – “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence and Sexual Assault”, which he said came to a close yesterday, December 10 that happens to be International Human Rights Day.
According to him, Nigeria is currently saddled with the burden of the abuse of human rights and he used the case of the arrest of Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters who was re-arrested less than 24 hours after he was granted bail with the arrest taking place in a court of law.
He further cites the example of a publisher, Abba Jalingo who he says is still locked up for criticising a governor. Sahara reporters have had their Nigerian bank accounts frozen with no explanation, and assets seized.
Banky W also touches on the issue of gender equality stating that “the Gender Equality bill did not make it past a 2nd reading before being shut down in the National Assembly. And yet the social media bill is on its way to a 3rd.”
He is of the opinion that the push for the passage of the social media bill into law is s that the people can be prevented from speaking up about against bad governance.
His post reads in part: “There is a very obvious, blatant assault on free speech and the freedom of expression going on right before our eyes. There is an emergency when it comes to the treatment of women and children.. when Senators are allowed to marry teenagers and physically assault women… when 1 in 4 girls in Nigeria are victims of sexual assault – the youngest patient of the Mirabelle Center is a 3 month old girl, the oldest is an 80 something-year-old, Grandma. When it comes to Human Rights in Nigeria.. there is nothing to celebrate, there’s just a whole lot of work to do. We must all do something. Maybe u can call/email your Senators and Reps? Maybe we can all can post online and get the attention of International News Media so that they can join us in pressuring our Government? Maybe U can volunteer/ donate to a Sexual Assault Referral Center? Just do something. Anything.”
This is not the first time the entertainer is speaking up and encouraging the people to take action. He was one of the many Nigerian celebrities that called for justice when an innocent Nigerian citizen, Kolade Johnson was killed by a SARS operative.

Sports / Barcelona Can Hurt Inter Without Messi, Warns Valverde by Eazyclick14(m): 1:29pm On Dec 10, 2019
Barcelona’s Spanish coach Ernesto Valverde speaks during a press conference on December 9, 2019 at the San Siro stadium in Milan, on the eve of the UEFA Champions League Group F football match Inter Milan vs Barcelona. (Photo by Miguel MEDINA / AFP) Lionel Messi’s absence for already-qualified Barcelona will not make them less able to stop Inter Milan gaining their spot in the Champions League last 16, coach Ernesto Valverde insisted Monday. Barcelona are already through to the knockout stages as Group F winners after Messi scored and set up two more in a convincing 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund last time out, a victory which means Inter will ensure themselves a spot in the next round with a win over the La Liga leaders at the San Siro on Tuesday. Six-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi broke yet another record by hitting his 35th La Liga hat- trick on Saturday as Barca maintained top spot in Spain with a 5-2 win over Mallorca. “Messi needs to rest,” Valverde told reporters. “We’re coming off many consecutive games and we have other important ones to play, so I left him at home. “He’s a decisive player, but our goal tomorrow does not change, we want to win against Inter. “We know what he represents for the opponents, but last year he didn’t play in both games against Inter, and we still had a high level. “We are already qualified but it remains a game of great value.” Messi and midfielder Sergi Roberto have been left out of Barca’s 20-man squad along with the injured Ousmane Dembele, Jordi Alba, Nelson Semedo and Gerard Pique. The Argentine’s absence means that they will be relying on Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez to supply the goals, while teenage prodigy Ansu Fati could be fit to play. Inter are four points behind Barca in second, level on seven points with Borussia Dortmund. The Italians need to match or better Dortmund’s result at home to Slavia Prague to qualify as their superior head-to- head record will see them through should the two clubs finish on the same number of points. ‘Heads held high’ “They have great players like (Romelu) Lukaku and Lautaro (Martinez) who score a lot,” Valverde said of Inter’s strike duo, who have scored 24 of the team’s 40 goals this season. “Lautaro is a great player, fast and powerful, he’s having a great season.” Inter coach Antonio Conte also has injury worries with Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella, Alexis Sanchez and Roberto Gagliardini all out. “Barcelona is calm in the first place and will play without pressure and can create problems,” said 50-year-old Conte. “We have to give everything knowing that it might not be enough.” Barcelona beat Inter 2-1 at Camp Nou last time out, but Conte believes his Serie A leaders have grown since then. “We played very well at Barcelona, with great courage and personality, but the defeat came thanks to their great players,” he said. “It’s been a while, we’ve grown in some respects. But we would be fools to think we won’t suffer when Barca are in possession.” The former Chelsea and Juventus coach hopes the home crowd of 72,000 can pull the three-time European champions through with their “heads held high”. “Our stadium can give us a lot of positive energy and I’m sure it will,” added the Italian. “We all want to get to the last 16, it would be a prestigious achievement.”
