Politics / What Happen Between Now And 2015 Will Determine The Shape Of Nigeria by Ebiro4: 11:23am On Apr 09, 2013 |
Let me tell you a brief. While walking home one evening, two brother noticed a rare bird. The small fowl was readying a nest to lay eggs. The taller and stronger brother succeeded holding the bird firmly in his hand.As the bird squeened lightly making matters worse the other boy did all he could to make the brother drop the bird so he could get it.The more the little brother pressed, the more the older tightened his grip.By the time the two brothers reached home they were quarrelling. Finally, the older had enough,he put the bird down and began to fight his brother, they stopped wrestling long enough to noticed the bird had moved neither foot nor wing. The boys had been so careless as to kill the object of their desire. You see,the bird was dead.If they had compromised, the bird would have lived and produced eggs that could be shared, instead they ended up fighting over a dead and worthless thing. What would say if someone told you the bird represents POLITICAL POWER in nigeria, the eggs represent WHAT GOVERNMENT SHOULD PROVIDE IT'S CITIZENS,and the two brothers represent POLITICAL PARTIES?I believe nigeria stands on the threshold of a historic moment. What happen between now and year 2015 to come will determine the shape nigeria takes for year to come. Will it continue as a land of calm or ill tragedies? Will nigeria be safe harbour for democratic expression? Will those in power and in the opposition have the political courage to work together or will they engage in unrestrained competition and squeeze life from the body politic? This gathering of nigeria on NairaLand represent the best of the nation. We have important position come many privilege but also certain responsibilities,as we are to benefit from the privileges. If our country falters history will not blame the man in the street, history's verdict will rest at our feet.I raise these issue not to criticise but to give friendly counsel,i raise these issue because my affinity for my country,on this soul i have found my past. And on this past,we build the future. The future i see for nigeria is one that shine far and bright. Those who have ears, may they hear what has been said |

@sijo 1.My ex happened to be a batch B Corp member(NYSC)After the orientation camp she sojourn in my place to spend the night before she dashed to the other leg of her journey to her place of primary assignment.During our discu$sion she complaint bitterly that no guy on camp toasted her for the 3 weeks,I courage her not to be disturb that maybe all these guyz are scared of her beauty. But she wasn't comfortable with my point and she was nursing this premönition that i would dumped her for another lady.To my greatest dismay she call me a month later that she has quit the relation,i try to convinced her,but she had jumped into this un-impeachable conclusion that we should quit. She didn't realised the time, energy and money we had used 2 build a qualitative and masture relationship that is geared toward marriage, she was so sefish to buy her own relief at my own cost of pain. Her gave the grace of 4mönths since she didn't call,i have dive into another relationship just 2weeks ago |
Romance / My Ex Babe Just Call That She Want To See Me Again.should I See Her by Ebiro4: 9:30am On Mar 23, 2013 |
I was so fortunate to be parted from the woman i love,i had never forgotten her pure joy in staying in my arm,her generosity in all things inclusing lovemaking, that i fell in love with her was a forgone conclusion, but more than anything, she wanted to see me again desperatly and dangerously.Althought the passage of time had lessened her betrayals,it's a youthful carelessness not some proof that she did not love me.It's better to love and loss than not to have loss before |

I concur with that op to some certain level. We must position yourself to where our blessing is.The palm tree will not flourish any where there is no water and the ant will not visit any where there is no sugar. These who have ear let them hear |
Politics / Re: Kano Lawmakers Visit Farouk Lawan In Kuje Prison. by Ebiro4: 11:03am On Feb 06, 2013 |
Eya!Farouk,It takes only 10minutes to find in others the faults we often fail to discover in ourselve in a life time. The decibel of the noise of a Nigerian is directly proportional to his distance to steal, the nearer he get to the opportunity, the less his noise. Why must we often make decision based solely on our own equity and selfish vanity? But as a nation,we must realised that the quality of tomorrow's leaders lie in the character of today's followers |

Romance / Re: 10 Ways To Fight Depression by Ebiro4: 3:57pm On Jan 21, 2013 |
Depression is the disease of the mind,a day of depression is more exhausting than a day of work,we can easily manage if we will only take each day of burden appointed to it.But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday burden over again today and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it. 2 Likes |
