Please one more thing. I may have to submit my passport on 22nd because I need to use the passport this week for a trip. What's the estoimated time frame to get my passport returned from the Accra VO? Thanks

congrats 'Bola. I think you have to call or email CIC to know which of the schools your visa was approved for so that you can make a proper decision on ur travel itinerary. I doubt u can be issued a study permit to more than one school at a time. Not very sure tho

Thanks redribs. Will do just that. On a general note though, does anyone have any preference....in terms of studying in UWindsor or Concordia. On a broader level, the choice is almost like one between Ontario and Quebec. Personally, I prefer Concordia in terms of the quality and organization of the school but don't know if choosing to study in Quebec will be profitable in the long run. Any ideas?

Congratz.
Please how is the transaction history on your SOA like. Did you deposit the 7mil bit by bits or in lump and how long did it stayed bf u printed it out..

I did a lump sum and left for a few days before printing my statement. My LOE was to explain the source of the 7m. For me it was the grey area of my application and I was pretty scared cos of it. Before then, all i had in that account were my monthly salary paymenys which usually got exhausted at the end of every month.

Which one did u use to apply for visa?

I used UWindsor but when I applied for my CAQ, the Quebec govt automatically forwarded a copy of the acceptance to the Accra office. I also updated my DLI on my profile to Concordia. So right now, am not sure which school was considered by the VO.

Please can the house assist me in making a decision. At this point, I have 2 admission offers - one to UWindsor and the other to Concordia Univ...both to study Msc Comp Science. Which do I choose?

. Congrat. I tap 4rm ur blessing. You didn't use any sponsor nd how long is the prog u re going for

Yes I did not use any sponsors cos I did not want to complicate matters too much. Am going for a 2yrs masters in Computer science.

Lest I forget, cos I'll be studying in Montreal, I also had to get my CAQ for studies from the QUEBEC govt. That only cost about 103 CAD and took abt 5 business days though 20 days max was put on their site. They were pretty efficient.

I only hav a small challenge. Am traveling on official assignment to Accra next week. What if my passport is requested for while am there. I'm due back on Fri next week.

Got delayed...bio 22nd oct..
Insufficient fund was the only reason ticked..
Didn't include sponsor's SOA because she has bin on maternity leave for close to a year as at the time I applied so she sent N3mil into my account for me to use..

Sorry about your delay. Please did you get called for medicals before you got their response?

Please for the veterans in the house...is being invited for Medicals and passing the test an indication that an application is successful? Cos at this stage, am very scared and don't know whether to start making plans. Also, I am due to resume Jan 7th, will it be possible to get my TRV before then?

Thanks everyone for your responses. I am now better informed on how to proceed and will most likely have to use a certified professional.
Business / Re: How To Register A New Private Company In Nigeria At Corporate Affairs Commission by Ebola(f): 4:46pm On Jul 03, 2014
Thanks Pearlworth but I don't understand your response. I am saying that I want to register my company and you say I should come and consult with you when I am going into Consultancy myself. I think I do have the Professional Certifications to register if I want to so I'll just follow through anyways.

Thanks though for taking time out to drop a few lines.....and advertise!!!!

Hi. I live in Lagos and am currently thinking of starting an IT Consulting company. How do I go about registering and completing the forms for CAC, including the MoA and other info. Must I have shareholders to register? Anyone with suggestions would be highly appreciated.
