They will want you to tell them your academic history, work experience if any, salary etc. Just what you did at the HR stage. You just have to be eloquent, anyway you will be briefed as regards what to say when you get there. I wish you the best of luck!

please i did my Board interview on the same day you did yours and am yet to be called.i just hope all is well,was it everybody that scaled through the board interview on 12th of january that met Adenuga on 7th of march,please reply.

Candidates met him on the 7th, 8th and 9th, this is to the best of my knowledge. Each set was made up of not more than 20 candidates, mine was actually 17 (13 guys and 4 babes). I do know that we were over 80 during that 12th of Feb. interview, I don't believe that only about 60 passsed. I'm sure they will still call others. Just be prayerful because God cannot abandon you now, He has seen you through all these while, so He will surely perfect the work He started in you. Amen!

You will be briefed by the HR on what and how to speak when u get there. He asked me about my academic background and that's what he normally asks. He might ask where one wants to work, this may lead to some other questions relating to this.

You will not be told where you've been posted to, neither will you be told when to collect your offer letter, but if you are lucky to set your eyes on the document containing the posting, you will see yours. Some people saw theirs.

My Board interview was on the 12th of Jan. 08. I had an interview with Adenuga on Friday 7th of March 08. They have finished the posting of all successful candidates (the board interview), even before the invitation to see the Chairman.

We should all be prayerful, because his decision is final irrespective of anything done already.

NB: Each set scheduled to see him has about 20 candidates. I know that all successful candidates at the board level will surely be invited because etb is about going to the capital market.

They that wait upon etb should renew their srength! Those who started since late 2005 are yet to get their employment letters. As regards test results, one can easily check their regional offices for those outside Lagos. For those in Lagos, go to 1695 Sanusi Fafunwa Street, V/I.

It may not be the last. Anyway, as regards what to expect, you may be asked to tell your academic and career history, just the way you did during the first interview. I had the third stage on the 12 of Jan '08. Since then none of us has heard fom them.

The second stage usually centres on your course of study. You will meet a panel of about 4 high ranking officials (mostly GMs). Try to be consice and professional in your explanations.

I heard that the last interview might not be the final. The person I contacted at the HR said that they are not sure if it will be the last.

I attended the same interview session, but did not notice anything like refreshment.

It's actually tha 3rd after the test. I'm in this category also. I wrote the test on the 6th of July, had 1st interview on the 26th of July and 2nd on the 21st of August, all in 2007.

It is usually based on one's general knowledge of the bank, competence, career and course of study.
I just hope it won't take them ages to call for employment letters.

I think ETB recruits HND holders for Bulk Teller.

Pls, is there any info about ETB training school? Do they have trainees there? I had my panel interview in August but did not hear from them again.

You will meet with the head of the HR. You will tell her your educational history with dates. She may also require you to state your career history if you have any.

Try to be specific and consistent with your narration. Also be calm.

After a long wait of more than six months for final interview with Access Bank, some were invited on the 15 of Nov. but due to reasons best known to them, the interview was shifted to Nov. 17.

After the interview, some of the candidates got email from Access Bank informing them that they could no longer continue with the exercise, in other words, that those people can no longer be considered for employment.

What is responsible for this kind of disappointment? They should not have waited this long to inform them of their ineligibility. And it seems that they have closed recruitment for this year. The fate of those who did not get the email is not even certain.
