Gosh, these neocolonial slaves have come up with this KFC ish again.

There are indigenous franchises that can march KFC all over the SE, besides KFC is in Enugu.

I find it embarrassing that someone in the 21ct century is using KFC as a development index.
Gosh, what a display of dumbness.
ketoprofen:

how can mere buying foods in a non Yoruba owned eatery a sign of affluence?
That means u ppl are still in the primary level of life: food.
KFC is in abakiliki road, Enugu. that's one thing about arguments from untravelled peeps.
KFC doesn't have competition from local ventures in Ibadan, Enugu has a lot of KFC like places.
and to cap it all, KFC doesn't even reign in Enugu.
Same foes for shop rite, Roban Stores and Eastern shop in Enugu are not found all over Africa but they were there before shop right.
U see, lack of entrepreneurship from ur ppl will always give room for neo colonization

grin grin grin grin grin
You guys are wicked.
I think you are arguing with people of lower intellectual capacity.
You are literally bullying them.
KFC is now a new index for measuring development. grin grin grin

whitecat007: Even a toddler would know that its called like that now by some people cos of the movie by robert deniro, morgan freeman among others. Only jobless people like you who basically have nothing else going for them in life would slobber over a "t" that is added to a name whether intentional or by mistake, especially when this is not the first time its spelled and written same way.

The show girls charge money to perform and I'm sure psquare got private show and all for much more.

Yes!!! It's Last vegas!

Why the epistle?
You see a picture and the first thing that comes to your mind is "Last Vegas".

The picture could have been taken anywhere, looks like you just finished seeing "hangover" and you are coming here to form nonsense.

okpara ugo: You guys are not talking from experience that is why you can afford to fight to prove your point.

I have met a live python inside my compound on getting home. It didn't attack my goat for as long as they were together. Neither did it attack me, all it did was slide away swiftly on sighting me..

Though I was interested in its meat...

But one person cannot kill that monster unless you are trained in snake handling or simply with a gun...
Thank you.
Many people here have no real life experience with pythons whatsoever, they just see a picture of a big snake and start spewing thrash.

Pythons are non venomous and are not aggressive.

They tend to slither away when sighted or just remain still.

Often what you need to do is just use a stick and get it out of the way.

36STATES:

I paid top dollars for a safari of a life time in 2005 to visit Kruger National park and Liwonde National park in South Africa and Malawi respectively. Three months later I was back in Nigeria on Chrismas and was shocked to see some rare Nigerian antelopes being displayed dead along the road on my way to Enugu. Ignorance is a disease and most Nairalanders are not exposed and educated enough to understand what your talking about.
My goodness!
You just said what has been on my mind, each time I pass by those antelopes near Okigwe I cringe at their site knowing that their habitat could have supported even larger predators if harnessed.
I also have had that unforgettable Kruger experience.
We are just misusing our natural resources.

Anybody that's not from that idemili will be bitten by the snake. Lemme tell you something, that satan u atheist/pagan/agnostic etc are worshipping was lucky that the almighty God didn't collect his power from lucifer when he was sent to hell. Better go back to school and learn. Awon olodo!
You are extremely ignorant and shallow minded.
Pythons are non venomous and are not aggressive.

I have used a stick to remove one blocking my gate and let it free into the nearby farm when I wanted to drive out, no biggie.

I'm not sure of the specie.

But people just come here and spew thrash they know nothing about.

Thanks this really showed that my calculation was accurate when I picked Ibadan to be the next city in the rank, esp going by the population and other economic potentials. Kano/Kaduna should first be cleansed from forces that believe education and modernisation is haram (sin), then we can talk about them.
With an airport like this Ibadan just does not qualify.

ubomez2@yahoo.c:
Biafrandream, thanks for your comments. I am and have always been afrocentric in my outlook and have never been negative about Africa. Maybe I should have said that the basis of my decision not to fly with Ethiopia Airlines has more to do with distance and nothing more. For instance it would take me 9 hours to fly from London by Ethiopian Airlines to Addis Ababa then wait the connecting flight to Enugu which last for about 5 hours. This is a long journey I would rather opt for a six hour flight from the UK to Abuja or Lagos direct. All I am saying is that we need an airline anchored in Europe that will cater for the thousands of Nigerians who wish to land in Enugu. For example, a Lufthansa flight takes off from London to Frankfurt a flight of less than an hour, then we board the Lufthansa connecting flight to Enugu. So when I mentioned KLM, Air France or Lufthansa this was my viewpoint. In a nutshell the aviation ministry has to look at the thousands if not millions of Nigerians from the East in the diaspora be it Europe, America, Asia or South America who wish to land in Enugu. We can not all fly to Addis Ababa. Give us more options so that we can choose. Cheers
I understand your view point but that is where sacrifice comes in.
If people can sacrifice and patronise Ethiopian, the route will be seen as lucrative and more airlines will ply it.
Remember their are also millions of southerners flying to the middle east and Asia, who will find Ethiopian an even better option than the European airlines.
I am glad u have taken back your statement of Ethiopian airline being not up to par cause that is uninformed.

My uncle an expatriate in the Middle east with his family in Enugu could barely hold back his emotions when he landed from Riyadh to Enugu.
For him it wasn't just about the convenience of flying straight to his family without the hotel hassles, it was that realization of a dream after so many years from studentship in Europe to grandfather hood.
It is a cause worth some sacrifice.
