Career / Re: How I End Up Washing People's Poo As A Graduate With 2:1 by egbej: 6:36pm On Jun 27, 2021
My advise for you is that university degree gives you knowledge on a particular study/subject.If you are able to find a job then you can now develop a skill within that profession.Since you are not able to find a job.You need to develop your self and understand how creating assets or money works. You don't need a downgrading job like that to survive.
1 you need to look for people who are more successful and learn a thing from them.Personally i will advise you to get a good phone, laptop and internet connection for a start.Try to look for a business and venture into
2,you can look for some estate agents, talk to them that you want to help them sell their homes, rental or lease.Take pictures and distribute on social media,FB,Instagram,Whatsapp. When you get a buyer take the buyer to them, you get some commission
3,You can also go to car dealers and do same thing, before you now it you are already a sales agent. To be rich you have to sell something
4,You can humble yourself go to computer vilage,if you are in Lagos, learn computer repair, phone repairs and start a business repairing phones, software etc.I assure you in the next 1 year you will be earning min of #5m in a year
Stop looking for demeaning jobs and develop your self

Business / Re: BVN FORFEITURE ORDER: Stealing From The Dead by egbej: 10:06pm On Nov 05, 2017
i have 10 years plus experience in banking, law
That interim order from the court is garbage
The commercial banks would throw in litigation against the fed govt soon and the court order would just be mere interim instrument with no locus standi, set aside and eventually vacated
The govt has no absolute right to ask hard working citizens to forfeit their hard earned money and in some cases their live savings.
Have they tought about deceased whose relatives couldn't get letter of admin to apply those funds, dormant account whose owners are outside the country and BVN center not available in some areas, sick people who are on wheels and can not undertake any actions
This shows how clueless and useless the current govt is.Why talking about forfeiture?why not even ask the bank to deactivate those accounts and move the funds to suspense account, dormant account etc
Banks have numerous GLs where unclaimed funds are warehoused, even some people have not collected their dividend warrants and such are posted into unclaimed funds GL
I think the present govt is looking for funds for the nest election and think they can play with peoples funds
By the time litigation begin to fly every where they will know its not easy to play with customer'S Funds

Education / Re: Ban Of Naira Atm Usage Abroad – A Perfect Way Forward. by egbej: 5:11pm On Dec 31, 2015
Apena Adeboye your analysis is a beer parlour analysis and shows you are not an economist or not properly schooled about the fundamentals and basic mechanics of the macroeconomic climate.
Let me further educate you so that you trash your analysis into the dustbin.
The current price of the Nigerian naira is systematically caused by the price shock in oil sales and the dwindling economy in Nigeria.
This issues are basically also aggravated by the slow policies by the present regime in the face of huge price shocks across the oil and gas industries to which Nigeria gets 85% of its revenue. The forces of economics is playing out here as the total receipts is less than total payments in the economy and this affects the price of Naira relative to other foreign currencies.Nigeria was using a floating exchange regime as against the pegging and fixing of price the current CBN is using to absorb the effect of devaluation in our currency.
Now to come to your support of outright ban of naira ATM card abroad,it is anti-growth strategy as this is a short term solution.I am quite aware that the CBN is using its Reserve to pay for the difference between the pegged price and the real price(black market ).That may be the reason of banning the ATM card as it can not continue to deplete its rreserve and also source for scarce dollars to pay back mastercard and visa card companies.CBN also restricted 41 types of import, ban wire transfer all this will aggregate to strangulate international businesses as our blue chip companies can not pay their merchant abroad, meet their loan obligations, buy raw materials and the economic consequences is that businesses are closing, jobs are being lost, factories are packing up.Students studying abroad are not the ones majorly affected that is why i am suprised about your analysis of only mentioning Nigerian students and encouraging the currency restrictions and ban on ATM
