BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

Who da F@*k is Jiddah.

F@*****K Jiddah n any1 who doesn't like speed racer esp. iice

Saw Incredible Hulk. Whoever said it was better than the first needs to be slapped back to Pluto. Yeah, where they came from.

That's like saying Lil Wizzy's lollipop makes sense.

Gosh.

IT WAS NOT, and that song don't make sense (although it's banging).

But good movie though. Just that i was expecting GREAT.

Let's do THIS.

HULK. Good movie, good acting, good CGI, good emotion. Bad screenplay or boring screenplay (bcs you know how it ends after 20 minutes), Bad dialogue, Bad suspense, Bad plot, Bad plot, Bad plot.

But good ending with Tony Stark and all.

If you are doing a new HULK, do something new, not that. THAT MOVIE can't stand time and u know it.

To me the pluses were the VILLAIN and hulks anger(the guy always looked pissed). But there was no blend between bruce's character and the Hulk. They were both different people. And that for me was what spoilt it.

As i said HULK was good(just needed a better villain).

So BLAH BLAH BLAH.

I know iice will come out lashing and that vesc guy will take her side bcs he is whipped.

@ iice

u tink u r making sense (funny). Also i find it hilarious dat u categorised urself as normal,

I'm crazy, this i know, but u PERSON r WAY OUTTA SPACE ABNORMAL. Go join the rest of ur freaky kind.

@ Vesc

i read this post and i wanted u to critic (please note not criticize), be constructive.

"Hulk" is a film which is widely considered a failure, both financially and artistically. Yet in the latter category this movie has a lot on offer: masterful editing, good acting and the direction of a true master.

What Ang Lee has tried to achieve, namely merging the pulp-story of the Hulk with the scale and drama of a Greek tragedy has been well achieved. The scope of the story and its effects on the characters are only to be taken seriously on a truly grand scale, and by supplying the protagonists with interwoven back-stories Lee and his screenwriters are making it clear that this is not to be seen as a realistic story, but an epic metaphor.

Special kudos goes to Timothy Squyres, who does one marvelous job of creating an editing similar to a comic's design. This pays tribute to the source material's pulp origins as well making an impressive visual statement. "Hulk" looks and feels like no other film, which makes it one of the most interesting, if not one of the best comic- adaptations of all time.

The crux is that this movie does not know who it's aimed at. The intellectual Ang Lee- connoisseur picks his nose when it comes to the Hulk, simply due to its humble roots, while the average popcorn-cinema-goer is slightly irritated when confronted with the films "odd" approach to comic-movies. This means that only viewers which are a bit of both can truly appreciate this masterpiece.

All the other elements for a good piece of entertainment are there and present: Eric Bana is, as usual, fine as the tormented soul which manifests itself in green rage, Jennifer Connelly is as solid as ever and Nick Nolte steals the show with what is a truly weird turn as Bruce Banner's/the Hulk's dad. The visual effects are beautifully executed as well. There is not much left to be desired.

LEMME KNOW ?

OK,

Let's do Old Movies,

the Clark Gable, Gene Kelly, Yul Breiner, Aerol flynt Kind,

Love Classic Movies

Plus i really loved Ivanhoe, saw it about a couple of years ago, sori four couples of years ago. It brought old memories back.

Saw an American in paris about two year ago too. Those films age like wine (atleast to me).

(i had to use that smiley)

Plus what do U people know about ART.

Constructive criticisms. That's what i want, not some riduculous chatter about not saying anything meaningfully. constructive criticisms. You hate sumtin, then argue u're point. Write something creative, then maybe i'll value your reason
TV/Movies / Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by Egnite: 7:47pm On May 18, 2008
Go out and get the recent edition of the TIME that talked about iron man and speed racer. It says much.

And i will like to add that in a generation where it seems that every story has been written or every plot has been told. As an artist you curse your WORDS and every COMFORT, that blinded you for way too long, you'll DAMN them all and re-invent yourself because you've realised with this you'll make a DIFFERENCE from now on.

Have you seen M. Night's "lady in the water"? Well what i'm trying to say is that, the wachos r like the author guy in Lady in The Water, what they do inspires me to create so much more. I'm sorry you think they r not worth it (your loss).

I'm done with trying to make y'all see the story that lies beneath the canvas.

OPEN YOUR EYES nothing is surface meant, aspire to learn the IMPLIED, unavail yourself from this unthinking majority.

I now get it

iice's a chick. NO WONDER.

I always wondered why the smileys. Thought it was 222222222 queer for a guy.

So iice's a chick.

Well don't fret lady, forgive my previous comment.

In light of this recent revelation, i like to say,

Sorry, first and,

I wish my DOG could reach thru and slap u with a copy of a wachoski screenplay.

But im not very sure that will even wake u up.

U seem imprevious to appreciating creativity

Click your heels dorothy and do me a favour DISAPPEAR

I haven't seen speedracer yet. But i don't know why i have this itchy feeling inside that makes me want to reach out thru this PC and choke u(well the guy that posted the comment b4 me).

The only one yarning dust is u (dude). If u can't appreciate constructive dialogue then,

I'm sure u don't read.

I don't know why but i really want 2 punch u for wat u just said about d wachos.

Saw forbidden kingdom, all i can say is that it could have been better, about 50%. Jumper 2 blows a little. The whole film didnt have a plot. Nobody said anything and nobody even explained shit.

Vesc

I like you MAN!!!

You carefully and clearfully describe the phrase constructive criticism.

I always like it when a person has a particular view about sumptin, and
he/she takes time out to articulately explain why he/she has chosen a particular side.

I would like to read more of your views on certain movies.
Maybe try and see them through your eyes.
Nice going DUDE.

BUT,

I totally disagree about your views so carefully placed and expressed, previously.

I'm afraid, sir, i beg to differ.

TOTALLY

The matrix is a project the was based on different philosophies. Philosophy being the use of reason and
argument in seeking truth and knowledge of reality esp, the knowledge of the causes and nature of things
and the principle governing existence. Life basically.
Philosophies seeking to explain life. Life which is not living, but the purpose of living. Hold your thots to
that, and hang on.

Secondly the matrix was based on several storys and books, so believe me when i say the wacho bros aim was
so much more than you so adamantly put it.

There are artists and non-artists. Artists put poetry into whatever they do, leaving codes behind for others to decipher.
They derive pleasure in it. Its just like one of those old movies, where there is a bad guy (villain) and the good guy has to travel
far to learn how to beat the villain. He meets someone that gives him a riddle for him to decipher in order to redeem the world from the clutches of the
BAD GUY(see oracle). Its the journey as they say that counts, not the task.

Non-artists are creators to. They are those who wrongly define creativity, and usually create for particular reasons, such as money. And they are also those who
haven't found their voice or those who haven't seen the light yet. Enlightenment. They merely create to satisfy a particular want.

The matrix is a project that shouldn't be seen at face value. It's so much more. It's poetry and art in all aspects.

Believe me when i say that the wacho brothers are indeed ARTISTS.

If you agree thus, so far lemme know so i may continue. Because i nid u to understand this before i proceed further.

Get at me DUDE.
TV/Movies / Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by Egnite: 7:03pm On Mar 20, 2008
D, first of all i wuld like to apologise for my kaufman mistake.

I was about to write andy kaufman, then i tot, no, he is the talented comedian guy that died. Blah Blah Blah (see jim carey's man on the moon). But just to insight you very well, charlie kaufman has a brother called Donald . Yeah just like adaptation, but i'm not sure whether they are twins.

Everytime i wonder, y i have to explain to people that, the archi's dialogue, ON POINT. He made so much sense. He basically covered 1hr of filming with his words. The archi's part should be looked as a summary of prematrix. GET IT. And please he made to much sense. LISTEN CAREFULLY and ur brains will start to flicker sparks. But lemme leave that alone. FOR NOW.

I don't know how to xplain dis to u guys. But here is it,

You know how animatrix is a diff. movie from the matrix, the same goes for the matrix and the other two.

2 both diff. movies. I know its kinda hard of get ur mind to grasp it but i'll like you to try. Matrix, one movie, reloaded and revolution another movie.

The matrix ended in part 1. WAY TOO OBIVIOUS. part 2 and 3, is like 1 way of ending a particular cliff hanger. Its movie producers after ur money. If 2 and 3 came like 6 months after. You'll be saying a trilogy classic now. But it didn't. They allowed ur minds to wonder thinking of infinite possibilties. And atlast making u come up wit ur own idea of the perfect ending. Thats d bros only fault. making u tink u culd end their work perfectly.

Please respect art. Finding understanding and a kip a piece of what u've learnt. I had my own ending, but i respect their ending because in as much as a story was said, to me it was more like a suggestion, a passive statement or idea.

Lemme go a lil deep, althou, i didnt come to write about the matrix and justify brilliance to you.

Matrix ending means, althou we are diff. in this world and we all tink our side is right. No matter how wrong a side goes nothing good can from from war. We have to accept each odas paradigm to a certain level in order to co-exist.At the end of the day only peaceful co-existence remains supreme. Total destruction of one group or slavery of anoda only brings rise to anarchy.

Plus self sacrifice is the only true way to protect what u love, when wat u love is been threatened. Its the ultimate description of love. AGAPE fellas.

THATS Y D PEACEFUL ENDING.

Now on to my main course of duty.

THE HULK, , THE INCREDIBLE HULK

GUYS, two too different people.

Yeah they both turn green, and grow big when they are angry. But hulk is wild, and the incredible hulk is tame.
The incredible hulk a superhero, and hulk is a man wit an ailment, a bane more likely desribes it.

The hulk, REAL COPY and not some pirated SH@*T(pardon my french), wasn't to graphically erroneous. BLIVE ME.

He can't b always d same size, bcs his size is a symbology of his anger. He can't be always angry at the same level. My God, ang lee even showed that exhaustion can numb anger. Talk abt detail.

THE HULK follows suite and is in line wit the original hulk comic. i come again original hulk comic book, not the incredible hulk. 2 TOO DIFF. PEOPLE. The hulk comic was in the same distant area, with soldiers, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,
i just dont want to describe ever detail.

Banas portrail was on point, jens too, so was nick noltes.

The movie mood was also green. which was on point to.

so i go again. Cast, A, script, A, SPX, C, dialogue, A, directing, A, editing, A, sticking to the original script, A+++++

Hulk was a good movie. Go c a clear copy.

And lastly bryans depiction of the sman, is perfect. A depressed man with the world on his shoulders. Not some comic flick by christopher reeves. My only fault is that he tried to make it realistic. I felt smans bane and pain.

Like bill said in kill bill, supermans alter-ego is kent and not the oda way round. He sees the world as a place wit a bunch of weaklings. and thou he has pretended to be like them for years. He learns more with each passing day. Causng him to put his life down for their existence. Thats what singer showed me. The only way the movie could sell, was to leverage on either past glory or a new approach to hero character writing. I loved the new approach.

And please vesc every one knows when u watch movies u shut down atleast 10% of ur reason to let sumtins pass. Esp. superhero movies. So i dont understand y u are still trying to explain the hulk spandex.

MY GOD, did u WANT to c HIS BALLS.

DID U WANT ANG 2 EXPOSE HULKS BALLS. kip it PG 13 MAN!!!!!!!!!
TV/Movies / Re: American Gangster: Not That Good! by Egnite: 8:38pm On Mar 16, 2008
American gangsta CLASSIC or NOT

I'll say in between.

American gangsta is a lovely movie. Its movies like AG that make going to the theater all so lovely.

I hate it when people dis-credit a movie by saying it didn't have what anoda movie had.

COME ON its anoda movie thats why its different. diff words, diff plot, diff cast type.

AG kicks in all ways possible.

First of all, an all round impeccable act from all the cast. From DW to TI.

AG was on point from custumes to slang.

BASED ON A TRUE STORY, so why would you expect gruesome violence like a gang of newyork type thing.

But for me all d violence i wanted to see was put into the intent.

D intent of wantting so much more.

common denzel with armand assante, denzel with russel.

DAT in its on sense is a classic.

i agree RIDLEY SCOTT has pace thing in his movie that seems to build up quickly and simer quickly to. Dats his only fault.

AG is in betwwen for me. But if it came b4, godfather 3 it'll be a classic.
TV/Movies / Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by Egnite: 8:23pm On Mar 16, 2008
I'm so sorry

I meant to say Michael Bay, not Michael Mann. My BAD.

Wachowski boys have proven their worth, from script writing, to casting, to special effects, to everything that makes sense in this failing world

As serj tankian would say "unavail urself from the unthinking majority".

And please, please, please don't tell me ur saying the aviator is not a violent movie. That movie is as violent as they come. When i say violent i dont mean blood everwhere, heads, knifes, guns, bullet more blood. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I mean the pace the script takes as well as the animosity play.

Aviator is violent my friend and is covered with red.

The guy dat directed eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, i forget his name, frank sumptim, the guy that did the nicholas cage twin movie about the book with meryl streep, yeah ADAPTAION is definitely good in my books.

I forgot to add steven soderbr, , i forget how to spell his name. He is also good.

And how can none of you say sumptin nice about christopher nolan. To me he is one of the reasons why i still appreciate dialogues in movies.

Yeah scorcese always has nice word play. But in terms of dialogue i'll take the W bros to any out there.

That's y they rule and are great. They totally redefined how movies were made.

I almost forgot.

I love controversial movies. Vanilla Sky, matrix 2 and 3, superman returns e.t.c. And i mean whether the movie is a waste of time type controversy. I always see stuff others don't.

And i say ANG LEE's HULK was a classic movie.

PLEASE SOMEBODY DISAGREE. lemme know ur tots. lemme see ur mind. and lemme make u c things thru a different paradigm.

DISAGREE so i can enlighten.

TV/Movies / Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by Egnite: 4:45pm On Mar 08, 2008
First of all,

I don't have a favorite director, and i would like the dude that put Peter Jackson in his top 5, to remove him now before he incurrs my wrath. At least he should argue why he put him there.

How can you forget bryan singer, ridley scott, tony scott, michael mann, brian de palma, christopher nolan, farely bros, wachoski bros etc.

And lemme clarify sumptin, it wasn't speilberg that d transformers, it was mann. SS only executive produced.

I like scorcese because of his violence. But you guys should admit it, martin is all about violence he cant do anything soft.

I like speilberg because he brings dreams into reality. Based on that he has not faulted so far. A.I. is so deep, that any one that doesnt see this doesnt have foresight (he/she can barely see past their noses)

Tarantino loves violence too,but not as much as him making it a cult classic. Quentin doesnt like conforming to d norm. He makes movies based on what he thinks is creative. And remember Quentin is, pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, four rooms(which he did with a couple of 3 oda directors), kill bil 1 and 2, sin city (codirected). He didnt do HOSTEL (mental note). He did 1 more but now i forget.

Wachoski bros r ill beyond wit. C V for vendatta and matrix1, i repeat matrix 1. The follow-ups though good can be found wanting, but the plot in 1, impeccable.

M Night is also 1 of my fav. He works include, sixth sense, unbreakable, the village, lady in the water, all tough stuff, especially paul giamatti's lady in the water.

My reviews go on and on. But i repeat please please please REMOVE PETER JACKSON. I only applaud him for bringing tolkiens work to life, and though i loved King Kong, the hobbit looking dude is still yet to prove his worth to me.
Music/Radio / Re: Aren't there any Nigerian Rock Musicians (Artists)? by Egnite: 7:02pm On Mar 02, 2008
Age beeka doesn't do rock.

Please what would make you think so.

Please never say that again.

I really hate you now for saying that and i woke up with so much love today.

Screw you 4 making me feel hateful

Odada, viera and tosin, whateva your bleeped up name is

I was just clearly expressing my views about certain issues i find pertinent. If you have constructive criticisms about my views, BRING IT. But if you don't have shit, then keep your efin mouth shut (pardon my french).

You should know how to stand up for what you believe in. Think about it you spend how many hours(hours upon hours) watching lost and whateva your stupid asses find interesting, and all you can say is I REALLY LOVE LOST, or COOL THAT GUY NATHAN CAN FLY. To me you guys need to find enlightenment in your cravings , if not you'll put all thats right to wrong. EXPRESS YOURSELF FOOL
TV/Movies / Re: Heroes: TV Series by Egnite: 6:32pm On Feb 23, 2008
Don't you just hate it sometimes, when you hear a bunch of people love something you love, and when you read or hear why they love what you love it spoils everything you love about the movie.

U guys Suck.

Hero is more than people flying, repairing mechanical hardware, teleporting, bending time, iceing stuff e.t.c.

Its about,

BrotherHood
Sticking to what you believe in
Believing in the best
Sticking to your family
Helping the world
Having responsiblities not because you are different but because you choose to.

Its about finding reason in a world that has gone wrong, and believing you can make it better.

By the way LOST sucks, So so so bad. It drags worst than smallville. It seems to not havedefinite plot. Lost season 1 goood, others bad. I'm sure most of you guys think Xmen3 is kool, or that Xmen2 is better than Xmen1. Its clear cut obvious that brian singer didnt do X3. Its just planely about people with, OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH special powers(fake). Plot is everything. Please hero is not about that.

Hero is about you seeing things differently.

OPEN YOUR GODDAMN EYES MAN!!!!!!!!!
Music/Radio / Re: Lets Talk About Rock by Egnite: 6:10pm On Feb 23, 2008
No, i'm not talking about sissy type rock.
I'm talking about drop dead death metal, Nu-metal, alt rock and that adding of grunge to lifes little lost pieces.
Whenever i hear a metal guitar, my teeth cringe, my heart skips a beat, and i realize why i was made to hear that sound.
It's the expressions of a world thats gone wrong. As serj tankian would say "we are the cause, we are the unthinking majority".

Now thats what i call loving it.
