Sports / Re: US Senators Call For Pressure on Fifa To Strip Russia Of Worldcup 2018 by ehibia(m): 3:29pm On Jul 31, 2014
As far as i am concerned USA has no moral justification to push Russia on this one. it is not ok for Putin to support d wahala in Eastern Ukraine BUT IT IS OK FOR THE US of A TO BACK ISRAEL TO CAUSE ALL THE WAHALA IN GAZA. When is it okay to support killing of innocent souls, including women & children? So who will Sanction the USA?
FIFA Should not mix politics with football i beg.

Family / Re: Getting Married To Your Age mate by ehibia(m): 8:22pm On Dec 29, 2013
Destiny27: I decided to post this in family section because I know there are a lot of people with mature minds and experiences especially married folks.

I recently came across an old schoolmate in primary school whom I had a crush on then. I was such a good boy then so wasn't into all that. Few months ago, we started communicating. She is in another state working. Since then we have gotten so close.

She came down to the town I stay enroute her village and we spent a few days together. We realised we are in love with each other. When she left, I felt an emptiness and she too has been missing me.

I'm in my early 30's and ready for marriage. I will love to marry her but my only problem is that she is my age mate.

Please, is there any problem in getting married to your age mate?

Some people feel its not right because
1) She may not be loyal and submissive
2) By the time she drops two kids, she will look quite older than me

I haven't told her anything about marriage. Would want to clear some grounds first and then take some months to know her more before letting my intentions known fully well.

Please, what do you feel about this? I need mature advice on this. I'm at crossroads now and will appreciate your input.

Thanks

What if she looks older after dropping 2 kids. Has that got anything to do with the love u feel for her? Unless the love is directly proportional to how young she looks after dropping 3 or more kids, i see nothing wrong with it. Marry her if u love her. My best friends wife is 4 years older than him and u can never tell (Even after she has dropped 4) grin

The idea is, u enter as a contract staff, get paid 120k and after 6months ; based on performance you get confirmed. Only question is "HOW MANY EVER GET CONFIRMED" , No confirmation no 243k Salary.

bloggernaija: Widow or no widow.
The instructions/rules/ law was simple enough.
Why can't Nigerians obey simple instructions?
Why do we behave like animal?

From overloaded lorries,
To drunk unlicensed driver,
To roadside traders encroaching on the highway ,
Siren blaring bigman aka stupid politicians.

The next minute ,they will start complaining about bad government disregarding the fact that the government is mirroring our own personal bad behaviour.

Poverty is not an excuse.
Neither should the law develop eyes because she is a WIDOW.

The government is doing the job it was elected to do and our
Uncivilised people are talking about MERCY .
Yes ,the language was bad
But he had to personally set an example.

MY TAKE IS THAT NIGERIANS ARE SO ISED TO LAWLESSNES THAT IT HAS BECOME THE BEW NORMAL.

NOW FOR THOSE WHO ARE IGNORANT OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE WESTERN REGION AND THE MIDWEST,
WIDOW OR NO WIDOW,
THIS WOMAN HAVE BEEN CHARGED TO COURT ,HEAVILY FINED AND HER GOODS SIEZED .
WHEN DID IT BECOME A CRIME TO ENFORCE THE LAW?

You are right BUT MUST HE SAY "GO AND DIE?" Thats wrong

I read some responds on this thread and it beats me, No wonder we are still the way we are...... We are so religious and love God so much, we even speak his language YET WE DO NOT SEE OURSELVES AS ONE. Tribalism,,,, must we politicize every topic. cry cry cry cry cry what a pity
Politics / Re: Nigerian Man Publicly Beaten In India - Video by ehibia(m): 6:36pm On Nov 07, 2013
This is barbaric. Very unfortunate, i witnessed same in PortHarcourt this morning, 3 Nigerian Police men attacked a driver in traffic, claiming he joined their convoy at some point on the road. Their should be laws to prevent things like this. This will hardly happen OPENLY in the developed countries. i doubt it! What a pity.
Family / Re: Why Is Divorce Not An Option For Most Nigerian Women? by ehibia(m): 4:47pm On Nov 07, 2013
What a sad sad situation! I think it is just not as easy as we think, even the society has made it difficult for the woman to see divorce as an option, especially if she is Christian (And these days every church goer happens to be a born again christian), that will not be a good testimony to give in church, What will the G.O think of her, what will the Pastor think? even if she tries counselling, the Man of God will preach IT IS FOR BETTER FOR WORSE....Maybe the parents as well will say God forbid (I mean the wife's parents now), so, for this to work; the woman herself should wake up and fight for herself, the woman should not hide under excuses like this to remain slaves to some bunch of so called men (Animals in human skin). very terrible indeed! Hmm.. May her soul rest in peace.
Career / Re: Are Indian Bosses In Nigeria That Bad??? by ehibia(m): 10:13am On Nov 07, 2013
Well, in my own coy, our Indian staff are one of the most intelligent ones, they are serious on the job, if u happen to have one as a boss, they could be a bit pushy in order to get the desired work target(s). However it depends on how you want to see it, their are as many bad Nigerian bosses as their are Indian Bosses, just like we equally have lazy Nigeria and Indian workers. its not about race, tribe or what have u. its about individuals..

Politics / Re: Oga At The Top: NSCDC Defends Obafaiye by ehibia(m): 7:27am On Mar 18, 2013
In my own opinion, It was so unprofessional of the so called anchors of the Program, Such errors are bound to occur sometimes and as professional TV broadcasters they should know how to handle cases like that. It was so obvious that the Lady and one of the two gentlemen that kept asking over & over again whether NSCDC has more than one website had other motives, Guest are not suppose to be treated that way. In foreign media shows , most times cases like this are immediately detected and sensed by program anchors and 9 out of 10 times they stylishly twist the question in order not to embarrass their guests. lipsrsealed
