Religion / What Happend To The Church by Ekemax: 6:51pm On Apr 28
Trying to replicate the night clubs in the church all in the name of wining souls is not what the lord wants, your duty is to preach the word and not to convert the soul, i miss those days were hymns were inspired by the holy spirit, that only the story behind the hymn can bring you to tears.

Some churches are now a place of confort for the sinners and a place of temptations for the saint.

What really happen to the body of christ?

Lets return to our first love lest he come quickly and remove our candle light.
Romance / Prophecy Just Broke My Relationship by Ekemax: 9:12am On Oct 29, 2023
Am a young guy of 27 and as a norm I don't like sharing my stories outside but this has broken me.
I met a girl in my university days, and we started dating.
The relationship has lasted for 4 yrs+ and I have strong intentions of settling down with her, as I'm deeply in love with her.
She's churchy as a result we haven't been intimate as i respect her decision in regards to that, She's also little bit gullible expecially when it comes to religious matters .
I've known virtually everyone in her family and so I think we are in same page.
Her attitude changed and I inquired to know why and she told me her pastor told her that her husband is not the first one but the second one and a her first love (at least to the best of my knowledge). The same pastor that once asked her if she's in love with his arrogant son. And that she wants to go by the pastors prophecy, and that her brother had a dream and told her that we are not matched for each other and as such she won't continue with the relationship.
I'm devastated right now and just don't know what to do.
Should I fight for my love or should I let it go as I really love this girl.

Politics / Niger Mock Tinibu On The Streets (video) by Ekemax: 8:15am On Aug 04, 2023
With the recent developments in Niger, the citizens of Niger had taken to the streets to showcase their solidarity to the military leadership, as they seem very comfortable the development and to question the legitimacy of president Tinubu asking how they can obey an illegitimate president.
Despite the warnings from the leadership of the ECOWAS, the military commandant remains unbent as has gotten support from neighbouring countries like Burkina Faso 🇧🇫, Mali 🇲🇱 and there are reports that they are being backed by Russia.
Will the ECOWAS nations fight to install back the democratic president or will they chicken out.

Religion / Was Cash Scarcity Reason For You Not Going To Church Today? by Ekemax: 10:02am On Feb 19, 2023
So I woke up this morning with the zeal to attend first service, but to my greatest surprise after calculating the expenses I discovered I don't even have enough transport to get to the church, we Nigerians have seen so much pain in the past 8years but this very pain is terminal, us that that we have inherent abilities to adapt to pain or we can't feel pain.

Like this no church for me today, please let's vote right on Saturday me in particular is tired of this suffering.

Politics / After 8yrs of serving your boss he recommended another person- Wike Hits Atiku by Ekemax: 8:07pm On Jan 02, 2023
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has insisted that the G-5 consensus governors are not the problem of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking during the Flags-Off Construction of Akpabu-Odido and Ekpeda Roads in Rivers State on Monday, he said: “Nigerians know those who opposed the zoning of party chairman first. I was one of those who said that the zoning of the Party chairman should go to the North because I believed that the presidency should go to the South.

“I also attended a meeting of the Southern governors where we agreed that the presidency should come to the South and when the zoning committee was set up, this same Atiku had gone to buy form, to frustrate the recommendation of the zoning committee. That was what happened. Saying when they had bought form, will you tell people to withdraw? That was the agreement, now it’s hunting them.

All I have stood for is equity, fairness and justice. Saying that me and the governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom frustrated efforts to microzone it to Sourth-East is not necessary. People know those who don’t want the presidency to come to the South East. If you are a bad product, then you are a bad product but if you are good then you are a good product.

“You worked for somebody for eight years and he recommended another person, blame your boss for recommending another person, not me. If your principal cannot recommend you, then, there’s something fundamentally wrong. Your people went to lobby for your principal to recommend you, it took your principal a long time before he wrote to all Nigerians, so I am not the one who said it. Everybody should carry their problem to wherever their problems are. Leave me alone, leave Ortom alone, leave the G5 governors alone”.

Wike who urged Akpabu-Odido and Ekpeda people not to vote for the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the forthcoming election, berated the former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi for not initiating meaningful projects in the State as a minister.

He said: “I watched the former governor carrying his business partner along, saying that they should vote for him, that he’s going to do well. Why will he not do well for him? When you sold our gas turbine to your governorship candidate.

“When Amaechi was governor did he remember you? So tell him to go away with his candidate. Even when you said you love Rivers state, I agree but you don’t cite a school where people are not living, that your being born in Ekwere land does not make you an Ekwere man. There’s no illegality Chidi Lloyd did not defend in the Assembly because of Amaechi to the point that they had to gather the State Assembly to the government House for the interest of Amaechi, yet no road was constructed where Lloyd came from. So when a man claimed to be a proper Ekwere man, what did he do for Ekwere people?

You were a Minister of Transport and you are close to the President, tell me the project you brought to Ekwere land, tell me one project you brought to Rivers State. I can tell you all the projects I brought to the State. That is what is called interest. It is not when you think people will compete with you. You are afraid of raising people who will compete with you. No man can be an island, any man who wants to be the only big man in his community is a wicked man. What is the essence of wealth when you cannot raise other people from your area”.

Politics / Ayu’s Resignation: S-west Forum Backs Wike, Makinde, Others by Ekemax: 6:02pm On Sep 21, 2022
A group, South-West Forum of PDP Stakeholders for Justice, on Wednesday, reiterated its support for Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and others sympathetic to his cause, that the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu should resign

In a statement by former Publicity Secretaries of Ondo and Lagos states, Messrs Banji Okunomo and Taofik Gani, the forum said Ayu’s resignation will bring about confidence, inclusiveness and oneness in the party.

The statement reads: “We, the above-named Forum of the Party, wish to affirm our support for the position being canvassed by Governor Seyi Makinde, corroborated by the doggedness of the ‘Wikes’ and the wisdom of the ‘Bode Georges’, as a lasting panacea for peace and eventual victory of our party at the 2023 Presidential election.

“We wish to justify our position on the following premise: “Assuming Dr. Ayu, in his wisdom, genuinely chose and believed in the emergence of a Northern Presidential Candidate for the PDP and went further to acknowledge Governor Aminu Tambuwal as the hero of democracy following his withdrawal from the Presidential race to pave way for Atiku Abubakar at the Party’s national convention, it is our take, that Dr Ayu should indeed go further to logically and wisely conclude the process that would guarantee the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the next president of Nigeria by making other possible sacrifices necessary to achieve that goal

“Indeed, this is why and when Dr. Ayu himself will be more celebrated as PDP’s Hero of Democracy rather than clogging the Party’s wheel of Progress and creating avoidable crisis for the Party.

“We will not forget to admonish our candidate, the next president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to be wary of the ill and reactionary advice of some traditional moles, who are insistent on offering opinions capable of jeopardizing the chance God has opened for the PDP in the emerging dispensation.

“Nigerians are indeed awaiting the PDP as the actual potent alternative government, and God forbids, if this opportunity skips us, Nigerians may never again associate with the PDP.

“We call for immediate restoration of sanity, confidence, inclusiveness and oneness in the Party as a stitch in time saves nine.”
