COVID‑19 testing requirements

Passengers travelling from Nigeria must present a valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 48 hours before departure. The certificate must be issued by an approved laboratory.

Passengers travelling from Nigeria to the UAE must fly on direct flights to be eligible for entry.

Required forms

Valid proof of their possession of health insurance covering the entirety of their stay in the UAE. Sufficient proof of accommodation address in the UAE, in form of a hotel booking or similar reservation which corresponds with the time period reflected on their ticket and a valid return ticket.

Travelling to, from and through Dubai

Passengers travelling to Dubai from any other departure point will not be accepted if they have been in, or connected through Nigeria, within the previous 14 days.

In line with government directives, passenger flights to and from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) are suspended until 06 July 2021.

Customers travelling to and from Lagos and Abuja will not be accepted for travel. Customers who have been to or connected through Nigeria in the last 14 days are not permitted to board from any other point to the UAE

1. Keep your ticket for future flight

You don’t need to call us if you choose to keep your ticket for future flights. You can get all the information on “Keep your ticket” option here. Please contact your booking office when you are ready to travel.

2. Rebook your flight to another date

For rebooking please contact your travel agent or booking office.
