Politics / Re: Lagos Unveils Mega Rice Processing Factory by EkwyOmalicha: 1:05am On May 17, 2012 |
Kobojunkie: That question I asked was really a simple one. Would the rice be just rice grown in Nigeria or in Lagos. Ofcourse rice is grown in Nigeria. . . . But is that rice milled then in Lagos? That is a question you should consider when answering the question asked. Am with you on this one……..they just posted pics of the mill without the farm @ Poster pls show us the farm and the farmers Another ‘’Mega White Elephant’’. (SIC) The more you look ….the less you see |

[quote author=shymmex] Must you use GEJ ….ve you run out of names to use? I'm not knocking the brewery plant - all I'm saying is that we need to start creating our own... but we already ve ours....Nigerian Breweries. When McDonalds left Nigeria, we created Mr. Biggs.. Look how big it is now, and they sell our indigenous food and snacks... I definitely would go to a Mr. Biggs, Tantalizers etc.. before KFC, Subway, or McDonalds. McDonalds is yet to establish an outlet in Nigeria….even your ‘’ China’’ ve McDonalds outlets scattered all over their country despite their indigenous brands. If we can started branding our palm wine the right way, and making it look more attractive (not the shabby bottles Jason posted) - maybe, Nigerians would start buying that.. Branding of palm wine will not stop people from going for beer….. People ve their individual preference….and that have to be considered too. Toyota, Honda, Nissan etc ve huge Auto plants in the US but it doesn’t stop Americans from patronising their GM brand…..so what re you all about? |

shymmex: What brought GEJ into this discourse? You were really lost in my post….. Nobody should criticise this plant since Nigerians ve bn stomaching imported beverage without qualms. read in-between my lines. |

Politics / Re: Jonathan To Open ₦15B SABMiller Brewery Plant In Onitsha by EkwyOmalicha: 9:25pm On May 16, 2012 |
shymmex: I ve earlier made my point clear, the N 15B Brewery plant is a welcomed development… the venture will certainly generate funds for government in addition to job creation. Many jobless graduates will be engaged by the company 15 B is no child's change lol (quit roaming Peckham streets….jobs re down here for you) Nigerians can stomach millions of imported drinks like Hunters, Red Bull, Power Horse, +46 and uncountable others …. How many times ve people criticised excessively importation of beverages? No sane mind shld go against this laudable project |
