You level of foolery knows no bounds. If you had brain, you would have understood what I meant by typing 'At a time I thought you were supporting non academic staff until I read ur earlier posts on this same topic'. But it appears u are either demented or your hippocampus has degenerated. Anyway, I am not surprised. When women, pornography, sex and prostitutes are the only thoughts that occupy your stupid mind with no meaningful things to keep you busy, why will you understand my post? By attacking both non academic and academic staff, it clearly shows you are a jobless internet troll, with no local standing. I have read some of your posts on nairaland and they are hinged on either women, sex, ponography, prostitutes or attacks on the Nigerian academia and non academic staff. I really pity the woman that gave birth to you cos you are such a waste. Kids like you with no aims and purpose in life, are trying to derail nairaland from the original intents and purpose. If I were you, I will concentrate on my books cause you sound like a (just like the one I earlier identified today) frustrated student/fool who couldn't pass his courses and had to be forced to leave the university. Hence your frustration and vendetta on both academics and non academics. Go and read your books young man to make something out of your meaningless life. I'm done responding to u cos no matter how hard I try to educate you, your demented brain will find it difficult to comprehend. Hence, it is not worth the stress and I've got very important things to do with my precious time.

No wonder you keep on churning out half baked "graduates" year in year out.

How would you teach your students well when you cannot even read to understand?

You just feel like you can run your mouth anyhow once you feel that your pitiful position as a wasted and useless lecturer is being ridiculed.

Shame on you.

When women, pornography, sex and prostitutes are the only thoughts that occupy your stupid mind with no meaningful thing to keep you busy, why won't u be an internet troll? Digest my earlier post especially where I implied that other options can be explored for the areas GAs can't carry out but I guess you can't cause of your low level of comprehension. If you can achieve a quarter of what GOD has made me to achieve in life, u will be a blessing to your parents. If I were you, I will concentrate on my books cause you sound like a (just like the one I earlier identified today) frustrated student/fool who couldn't pass his courses and had to leave the university. You want GAs to start registering courses, computing results, do final clearance, work in school hospitals, work in labs, etc?

Two of your comments/posts 'Tell me what do nigerian enjoy from government universities' and 'Most lecturers in Nigeria are idiots' say alot about you. You sound like a frustrated student who couldn't pass his courses and was forced to leave the university. Hence, your vendetta against Nigerian lecturers. I might not be far from the truth. As per my earlier post on how ASUU saved Nigerian public universities from decay and students paying exhorbitant fees, u ought to have asked question if u didn't understand it. Joining issues with a dude of ur type (with low level of reasoning and comprehension) is a complete waste of my very precious time.
Have a nice day

You know nothing about ASUU demand. If you are a lecturer, shame on you. Most lecturers are educated illiterates who are being lead by group of idealists. ASUU is fighting for selfish interest. I have stated 4 reasons why ASUU did not want ippis.ippis can capture any peculiarity. Your eyes would soon clear. It is only ignorant like you that is confusing fund of university with ippis.

I never typed that ASUU members are rushing to join ippis in recent times (memory). Please read through my posts again. Ofcourse, what is being deployed for ASUU is UTAS in place of ippis

Actually, they were never fooled into signing any of the documents they signed. A good general knows when to fight and when to retreat/restrategize. The approach ASUU has been using over the years is what has kept them afloat and made them a union to reckon with.

Did you digest and understand what I typed at all? I don't think you did. You appear to me as a student that is difficult to educate due to poor comprehensibility. For this simple reason I will not waste my time again trying to educate you. The reasons that ASUU rejected ippis were clearly stated by Prof. Biodun. If you do not understand them, then u have a problem somewhere
capitalzero:

Listen to yourself. How does ippis linked with funding of university? Fund and ippis are not same thing. ASUU usual trick is to list several demands knowing that government cannot meet all of them. ASUU should be integrated to ippis and university funds should be managed properly. Who is the ignorant now?
Politics / Re: Kehinde Ajibade: IPPIS Is A Scam, FG Deceived Us by eleazon(m): 3:06pm On Feb 12, 2021
'You hear'? Please stop wallowing in ignorance. Ask and be properly educated. If ASUU had accepted ippis, students would have been required to pay enormously before they can be admitted into the public universities. By that, university education in Nigeria would have been a thing for only the upper class. This is just one out of the lots of reasons (for your education). If only u knew what ASUU did for Nigerian youths, u would be applauding her
capitalzero:

ASUU has never reasonable in her demand.
I hear. Government agreed with ASUU for peace to reign.
Politics / Re: Kehinde Ajibade: IPPIS Is A Scam, FG Deceived Us by eleazon(m): 2:40pm On Feb 12, 2021
This capitalzero, na wow for u ohh. These things you typed below are just trashy. ASUU has explained for the umpteenth time why it rejected ippis and has even passed that stage. Government saw reasons with it, which was why it agreed for the deployment of UTAS. If u need clarifications, as questions and be properly educated. Please, be reasonable in your posts.
capitalzero:
Four reasons why ASUU does not want ippis
1. Age falsification especially among older lecturers.
2. Working in more than two universities as associate lecturers. Nuc is working on it.
3. Earn allowance. This alowance has abused to the extent that some lecturers do not want new lecturers to be employed.
4. Tax manipulation. University remits taxes of staff to authority. It can be manipulated by tax guys. It ippis every staff pays actual tax. It deducted from source by the FG.

Way forward
Union should accept ippis .
Identify vacancies and fill them
Demand for appropriate salaries.

If you are true christian as you claim, you won't be typing this. For your information, testimonies (including this one) are mean't to strengthen the faith of believers to trust GOD for what HE can do, and to make those who do not know HIM believe in HIM. Lastly, we are not to decide for GOD whom HE is to show mercy as HE shows mercy ro whom HE pleases.

sweetmelanin:
I understand the sentiment and I know how terrifying it is to almost lose a loved one. I'm glad your wife could survive this terrible illness called cancer but I need Christians to be careful when telling "testimonies" such as this..

..don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian myself but the truth is, I just find testimonies like this kinda selfish and self-serving. Millions of Christians die everyday... many are even more righteous than you and me..would you say they aren't true believers? Would you say God doesn't love them as much as he loves you and your wife?
What about the millions of unbelievers who have survived cancer and other deadly diseases? Did God choose to save them over His own children who succumbed to the illness and died?

All I'm saying is, people (believer or non believer) will die at their appointed time. Perhaps it's simply not your wife's time return to the earth..
Nonetheless, I'm happy for you guys all the same.

Alot of dramma has taken place since this devilish government brought the issue of IPPIS as a distraction from the key isuues that led to the total, comprehensive and indefinite strike that ASUU embarked upon. The latest being the interview that the Minister of State for Education, Mr Chukwuemeka Nwajuba granted channels TV yesterday.
I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I am preempting another deadlock today, going by recent utterances from this minister whose ministry is currently having unsettled issues. The minister shot himself in the leg yesterday by affirming that IPPIS is faulty. By submitting that some lecturers were underpaid while some overpaid, ASUU has been vindicated. However, by stating that lecturers are not being owed, it is very obvious that he is not in tune with the goings on in his ministry or he is conservative with the truth, but I choose to believe the former.
The ASUU chairperson further buttressed his by stating that the 3 meetings ASUU had with the FG, he wasn't present. Yet he came to defend his ministry which did rather poorly. On sunday, this same man stated that 51000 out of 77000 ASUU members have registered on ippis when we do not have such number of lecturers (state and federal univerisities combined) in Nigeria. This shows gross incompetence for such exalted position by the minister. The truth of the matter is that the so called payment he referred to happened when the president yielded to pressure and asked that lecturers not on IPPIS be paid to cushion the effect of covid 19. However, immediately ASUU anounced that UTAS was ready, FG stopped further payment. Hence lecturers not on IPPIS are being owed from July to date. This is in addition to the key issues: revatalization of universities, earned academic allowances or EAA, establishment of visitation pannels, honor of memorandum of action entered into between FG and ASUU in 2019, establishment of renegotiation committee, etc, that led to this protracted strike by ASUU.
We all should appreciate the fight that ASUU is putting up. GOD forbid, should ASUU lose this battle, students will pay through their noses to go to school. This is part of what ASUU is trying to prevent. The onus lies on Nigerian students now to join ASUU in preventing this devilish govt from decimating the Nigerian public tertiary educational system as from their body language, they are not in a hurry to open universities now. Afterall, their children do not school in Nigeria

quote author=Keyin post=95526992]I wonder why federal government has decided to allow younger generation and future hope of this country to waste at home. They need to invest into educational sector. Our public primary and secondary schools have collapsed absolutely and their intention now is to collapse public tertiary institutions so that their private varsities will be patronized. To get things right, National Assembly should enact a law that prohibit children of politicians schooling abroad. In doing so, this reoccurring strike will end. On the part of ASUU, I suggest that they schedule a meeting with the president himself and not his appointees. I am not really sure our president M.Buhari is aware that our university students are out of classroom. If he is actually aware then there is no hope in this country. I equally learnt that Nigerian Lecturers receive small salary when compared with their fellows in Africa. [/quote]

We all know that the reason ASUU. SSANU, NASU are going on strike at this time is because they are all afraid of school resumption due to fear of covid19.

Since 90% of ASUU members are above 50 years and therefore vulnerable to covid19, they are afraid of going back to work.

I knew long ago that even when Fg eventually announce school resumption date, university will not be able to resume because of strike action.
I weep for people like you who having this type of mindset. For your information and those that may share in your ignorance, ASUU is on strike for the following reasons:
1. Failure of government to keep to the 2009, 2013 Memorandum of understanding and 2019 memorandum of action it entered into with ASUU
on funding/revatalization of universities, proliferation of universities, and others.
2. Visitation panels to the universities
3. Earned academic allowance which government agreed to main stream into their budget. For your information, the only way ASUU has gotten the universities to be moving is through strike actions. It is only an irresponsible govenment that will not keep to agreement. What we are fighting for is to see that public tertiary education system in Nigeria does not go the way of the primary and secondary schools. We want to have a functional tertiary educational system that we will leave behind for our children. Can you imagine a case in Kaduna state where a primary school teacher of English language does not know how to write a sentence in English language? Is that the kind of thing you would like to see in your tertiary educational system? GOD forbid. The political class is out to destroy the educational system in Nigeria. Afterall, their wards do not school in Nigeria. The onus lies on you and I to stop them. This is the summary of the reason ASUU embarked on a total, comprehensive and indefinite strike
