Jobs/Vacancies / Think About This: Job Seekers by ELIJAHLOVE: 3:50pm On Sep 16, 2008 |
According to the scripture which says, having done all to stand, stand therefore. I think, In addition to looking for a salary job lets look inward and think of what we can do as in business. There is no harm in starting small, don't wait till you get all the money in the whole wide world before you begin something. Let me share my personal experience with guys in this forum. While serving in Plateau state, i incorporated My own company, small though and with very small start up capital. I started against all odds. It looked very challenging initailly, but i believe so much in my dreams and plans, so what i did was to get a manager to manage the company, while i went in search of a salary job, i got it after a month, with a very low salary, but i never minded, i kept saving and equiping my company, pay my staff salary with my own hard earned salary.Because then the business was not generating so much to pay the staffs salary. But i kept buying equipments which i felt could help generate income for my company. (That i did from my savings, monthly salary) Now my salary is a lot better as in the company i worked with, also you can't beleive the average income from that my company back there in Plateau is About N80,000. To a very reasonable extent am a bit comfortable now, though i am still pressing on towards the onward mark, i see myself not to have apprehended or attain any thing. Funny though, if you see me you can't smell anynthing of such i keep my head so low, maintain a low expenditure and all the likes- business men will understand what i mean. Guys i think all we need is COURAGE to get started, GRACE to withstand the initial challenges, STRENGTH to move on in the face of opposition, POWER to dream BIG, ABILITY to believe in your dream and in your self, STRONGWILL to keep pressing on. I have not come here to show off, because there is really nothing to show off yet, as N80,000 from my personal business is very low as to what some other people get monthly, but the point is there is so much cash we are loosing daily by still keeping moving up and down in search of a job that is not in sight,(am not saying we should not apply here and there) but in addition to that we could start something which will generate something for us. At least to keep body and soul together, before the real thing comes. Guys, its really frustrating waking up daily without any expectation of a penny from anywhere. If Your parents or guardinas are still giving you allowances, for now i believe one day they will get tired of giving. Its high time we WOKE up and do something, before we actually land our dream jobs. I love you all. One HOUSE One LOVE Elijah 08057049805 |

Romance / Re: Love Letters by ELIJAHLOVE: 12:41pm On Sep 11, 2008 |
Hmmm Love letters, i think i like expressing myself in letters but i had two naughty experiences. 1. When i was in the Polytechnic, there was this lady that wanted us to have a relationship but i did every thing to reject it at the begining. But it got to a time whenmy friends made jest of me and as such i decided to give it a try, so i wrote a love letter which i dropped in ger bag one day when we went to read together for the coming exams, but funny enough she dint get to see the letter, it was her friend- a room mate, who saw it. No wonder this her friend started behaving funny towards me as if the letter was for her. i wonder why she dint even drop it back to the place she got it rather she threw it away. 2. There was this lady i admired so much, we attended the same church, stay on the same street and what else i guess her family liked me. So i decided to take advantage of that. I wrote her a love epistle not just a letter. She got it and did justice to it-- showed it to her parents and every member of her family who feasted on it and started making their own comments. No wonder the family started avoiding me like a can of worm. These experiences made me decide never to write love letters again in order to woo a lady. Though i wrote enough in my relationship, i liked it so much. Am a better love letter writer. this she admmitted and affirmed. |

Romance / Re: Love Impossible by ELIJAHLOVE: 12:17pm On May 30, 2008 |
Love should be a bilateral affair, if ur not appreciated neither is ur love reciprocated abeg of u take to ur feet and run for ur dear life. u dnt have anything doing with such a person. The meaning is he does not want u in his life. The truth is WE are all lOVE BEINGS, our psycological and emotional make up is such that u tend to love someone, u desire to be loved and u crave to love someone. SO if that guy does not return ur love and all u do to make u feel loved, nthen i beg u burst the whole thing because he definitely LOVES someone else. |

Certification And Training Adverts / Re: Pass Without Training! by ELIJAHLOVE: 2:24pm On May 02, 2008 |
Bos, i bliv u can pass without going for the training, but to my own mind, the major issue is not in passing the exam but in mastering what there exists to be mastered bcois the certificate with get u the job but definitely your knowledge, expertise and proficiency will help u keep the job and of course get u up the ladder. So my candid advice is that if u cant afford the high cost of training which in a way could help u with the basic and fundamental knowledge requierd, just try as much as possible to link up with guys around u who cud be of help as touching critical basics as u read on ur own in preparation 4 the exam. |
Programming / Re: How Do I Save Documents And Databases On Cds by ELIJAHLOVE: 3:15pm On Apr 30, 2008 |
My dear, you dont "save" files or document on a CD technically, what you do is write /burn them on the CD How can that be done? 1. Launch the software Nero- this is the software used to burn/write on CDs 2. Then follow the procedure, like clicking on "burn" then "next " and then "add ". This last one add is used to add the document you want to burn on to the CD from whereever location it is on the system- its just like exploring. 3.Make sure you have an empty CD on which you can burn ur data. Thats all |

ha ha ha ha na wa for u o my guy, you no know say wetin sweet dey kill? but thank God you are still alive to learn your lessons. Well as for me my advise is that, start looking for a job, if u dont have one already so that you can start shopping for the childs things b4 ur girl delivers, and also to rent an apartment may be a room in ajegunle- i learnt houses are cheap there. Then u can start putting things in place for a formal engagement to the lady. After which u shud b expecting ur twins. Congrats- i wud also like to suggest that u name the kids, 1. A.D (Accidental Discharge) 2. Omonitan (A child with story) |

Career / Re: Fcmb Take Home? by ELIJAHLOVE: 10:16am On Apr 25, 2008 |
Lately i saw a typical employment letter of employment into FCMB - it was for a friend's brother. It contains the pay package. after summking up everything sha, it was about 145K/mth including transportation-allowance medical-allowance leave-allowance and all. And for the marketing job stuff- my dear its up to you o. But i tell you marketting job no be yam, it could be neck cutting and frustrating. You need to see bank marketers my dear u will pity most of them, some who do not have good contacts thru which they can meet up their targets usually end up being miserable and highly frustrated. The major bottle neck here is the target martketers are expected to meet up with, and failure to do so after certain period of probation means thier work is on the line. Usually the thing is, each marketer has an annual target this is in turn divided into monthly target, meaning at the end of each month, you are supposed to meet up with ur monthly target. Now for a fresher u have a period of probationin which if u do not meet up with ur target ur appointment is likely to be tarminated. But before the termination, you are due to 3 queries. At the end of the 3rd query, my dear be expecting just anything. Marketing job i will say again is not easy most especially if u don't have ready made contact i mean big guys out there ready to bank with ur bank using u as the link. And then, apologies to all ladies: this issue makes most ladies- not all ladies sha o, bed mates to those big guys whose philosophy is give me i give you------GOD NO GO VEX. So dear, shine ur eyes o |
