Thank you!

Congratulations

I agree. I submitted last year and I only received a passport request this week. I have active US, UK and Europe visas. I didn’t send any webform because I was tired of them.

Ashirioluwa:

Your application is still young compared to some applicants who submitted their applications last year.

I submitted for my younger sister in December, no response yet.

Hi team, I applied for a Canadian tourist visa last year. I disclosed other countries I’ve visited but I hadn’t been to the US yet even though I had the visa. I’m now in US for a week. Will it be necessary to send a webform stating I’ve visited US with the hope of fastracking the visa process lol or it’s not necessary.
Travel / Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Emanwel: 8:19am On Jan 05
It’s not black and white. It may or may not be possible. It’s all about you and your documentations. Seeking asylum isn’t illegal.

Personally, I’ll take visitor’s visa only to visit

Baloemmy23:
Good morning people , thanks for always responding to my questions I really appreciate it so much... Please I want to ask a question, is it advisable or legal to travel with a visit visa to Canada and then seek asylum in canada?

Honestly I think you know your answers already. Asking us if your agent is genuine is funny 🤣
Unless your agent is a visa officer, I don’t know why you’ll believe anyone who says this to you.

Go on the IRCC official website and find types of visas for yourself!

If you can read, write and navigate your way on this platform, I’m sure you can do same on IRCC website. If you have issues filling a form, people here will help.

And oh…if you have enough money and faith to spare, go ahead with your agent for your business class visa

blessedbest:
Good morning family, please i need urgent help. An agent has promised to give a business class visa of up to 5 years for 4.5m or a visitor's visit for up to a year with a job and accommodation for 5m.
my questions are :
1. is this agent genuine?
2. is there anything like all the types of visas he is proposing?

please I need urgent response so I can make an informed decision. thank you so much!

It MAY be treated promptly. Did you ever travel with the visa and declared it in your travel history?

Deronke1:
How about having a valid canada visa but about to expire in like 2 weeks? Would it still be treated promptly?

Travel / Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Emanwel: 7:13am On Nov 13, 2023
You’ll be notified through the email used in application. With your application done by an agent, my guess is the agent used his email or an email he created for your application so you won’t see anything if you don’t have access.

Nkaluu800:
Greetings everyone.

Do I get notified via email from IRCC once my application is submitted by the Agent handling my application?

Assuming it was submitted on November 1st, When can I go for biometrics?

Yes, I do.

I have previously visited the USA, UK and UAE but currently have a valid 2year UK visa.

Do you have any travel history?

adelforreal:
Congrats to you and your family.

I submitted on the 3rd Oct and still expecting feedback. It will surely end in praise for us all.

All the best.

Hi, I have a valid US visa but I have not been to US yet. Will that count to a faster response? I have been to UK and Netherlands in the past. This visitor visa processing time is outrageous!!
Hemoghy2:

2months Its very rare to get update after 2 months except you are renewing your visa or you have a valid US Visa. Usually the waiting time is from 4 months and above.

so with the amount you need in the account for 28 days before securing the CAS has to be the entire 2 year tuition fee (minus deposit) plus £9207?

Or just 1 year tuition fee

Seyisuccess:

No, you pay 50% on enrolment, and the 3500 initial deposit is inclusive of the 50%.
I got admitted for MSc Data Science also, with a 1k off tuition. This brings the remaining tuition to 13,500.
50% of 13,500 is 6,750
You have to pay initial deposit of 3500
Which means you have to pay 3250 on enrolment to meet up with 50% tuition on enrolment.
And the other 50% balance to be paid by May 27th.

I hope you understand my point small.

Hey
How long did it take to receive an offer letter from Teesside after your applied?

qudusshotomiwa:
Hello guru's in the house. I would like to make an enquiry as regards to proof of maintenance at TEESSIDE UUNIVERSITY. I have a 2000 Pounds discount on my offer but am confused as regards to the calculation of the amount I have to keep permanently in my bank account for my proof of maintenance. I want to know if i should deduct the discount been given or i have to add the discount along with 9207 Pounds monthly upkeep.
If i am to deduct the discount my proof of maintenance would reflect 9207+1500=10710 and if am not to deduct it then it will be 9207+3500=12707.
according to the way it was calculated on there website, discount wasn't discussed on it
i will be glad if you can make a clarification as soon as possible.

Ohk,please are you currently studying in Czech ?

Wanted trying university of perdubice early this year, but I got discouraged when I heard people on nairaland saying they weren't able to get visa appointment even after paying school fee.

Can you recommend any school with cheap tuition? I have an MSC In public health here and willing to run a second master just to relocate.

Kindly assist with any info you have.

Yes I’m student of BUT.

The fact is it’s really not easy getting an appointment in Nigeria. Paying school fees doesn’t guarantee getting appointment. It’s about how fast and lucky you will be. If u have the patience or other alternative means to get an appointment, that’s fine.

With school recommendations, I can’t help with that. One thing I know is tuition in Czech Republic isn’t really expensive (comparatively). Studying in Czech language is little to no fees. Living conditions are comparatively low too.

Please what’s the visa application like?

Enlighten me please
Also how much is admission processing fee?

Check the admission fee from your school’s page.
Visa application is stressful when u applying in Nigeria.
You book an interview date, submit documents then wait 60-90 days

Guys how’s life in Czech ? Is there part time work to support someone there? Any University that accepts 2:2 for masters? How’s the admission process like? Please anyone living there on this thread? What’s your experience? Let someone not go from frying pan to fire

Yes there are part time jobs.
Almost all the universities accept that for masters
Admission process is pretty simple, maybe costly. It’s the visa application that will wear you out.
Czech is cool and relatively quiet compared to other major European states. Cost of living is relatively cheaper too

Please I need an urgent answer to my question. Will I need to pay tuition fee for czech university of Prague before I will be giving admission or I need to submit my super legalisation document received from the ministry of education before I gain admission..

It depends on the school’s requirements. Basically the documents will determine if you’ll be accepted. Then the payment of fees gives you the documents u need for the visa.
Again, go through the school’s requirements to be sure

It’s rather unfortunate. Their processes are frustrating.
It’s sad I’m not going to see you in BUT

I got admitted for PhD degree too, the Embassy really frustrated my efforts. I wasted a whole year and money. The school is yet to refund the money for my accommodation.

A lot of people have warned me to stay away from Czech Republic. Their government is seriously regulating the number of foreigners they give visas to

You probably may have to go next semester

I didn't, their visa booking appointment system is the worst thing I have ever come across.

Travel / Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by Emanwel: 1:09pm On Jul 23, 2019
I know it’s possible but in the case where the embassy isn’t accepting applications, idk how you’ll go for the interview

Guys, is it possible for your supervisor to book an appointment at the Embassy for you?
Travel / Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by Emanwel: 2:40pm On Jul 12, 2019
I spoke to them and unfortunately, Nigerians can’t apply in Ghana. So you’ll need a Ghanaian passport or the other countries allowed to apply in Ghana
Consigliere:
They aware of how difficult to book an appointment for their visa. In the mean time, am still awaiting the response of their high commission in ghana pertaining to submission of visa application.

Guess I was lucky to get a reservation for accommodation. The procedures are stressful.

Travel / Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by Emanwel: 7:04pm On Jul 11, 2019
Wow...BUT has one of the most stressful application procedures. After I pod and received admission letter, getting the school’s accommodation has been another issue.
My department wants me to notarize (czech notary) a certificate the rectorate department in the school issued and that has been impossible.
So I have to look for an accommodation off campus and use the lease for the visa application. Then work on the Czech notary when I get to Brno
Consigliere:

Yeah, Booking an appointment for Visa isn't a straight forward Business. I successfully booked for appointment on January but had to cancel the appointment because my supporting documents and admission letter wasn't posted early enough.

Will be open to any alternative

I was just going through the thread again and I realized you got admission late last year.
...and you haven’t applied for the visa already? I salute you for your patience. I couldn’t wait after I received my admission letter. I just had to find alternate ways to apply for the visa ASAP
Consigliere:

Okay cool!

Travel / Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by Emanwel: 3:23pm On Jul 10, 2019
Oh yhh it came in earlier than I anticipated. Still having issues with the school’s accommodation so I had to find accommodation outside campus.
My department is being difficult

Hope you have received your admission letter and other supporting documents
