If you really want quick quick answer, why not rent out the house or better still sell it. The FIL can use the proceeds to get another place

Hi
Complete your OWN building FIRST. I repeat complete your OWN building FIRST. Assuming your mum is still alive, it would have been okay for you to complete her house. There is a case currently happening in my area now. The man is even the first born of his late parents. He built the house, a storey building on his late father's land. He completed the building without any help from his siblings. Now the man died and his siblings told his family (his wife and children) that the house belongs to their father and thus can't be buried there. Imagine! The man even sponsored most of these so-called siblings through school. Immediately after his demise, they started treating the man's family like an outsider.
So, your own will always be your own.
Explain to them that you will be helping them with proceeds from your pond business whenever you can. Use wisdom

Helping people is something the stronghearted do. It's not for everybody. It's just like deliberately loosing money; you don't expect anything in return. If you help with the intention that you will receive, high bp will come knocking. I remember when I was in school @ oau, I stayed in Moreno hostel. We were 5 in a room. One of my room mate was sick. Everyone was leaving for class and despite having lectures, i still volunteered to follow her to the school clinic. We came back and I made sure she was okay before leaving for other classes. Later in the term, I was also seriously ill. I slept on the bed from money till evening, my friends came around. Do you know this lady never opened her mouth to ask me what's up? I learnt one lesson that day which is "No go dey do pass yourself.....

"I'LL MARRY MY HUSBAND OVER AND OVER AGAIN" is not something all women can say. My pastor used to say and I also concur that, If you will make heaven, ask your wife and vice versa. Some men project a good man outside but they are beasts inside their house. Some will be helping people financially outside but nah akagum dem be for inside house. I'm sure majority of women can't say that word of marrying their husbands over and over again.
Oya, husbands test yourselves at home and ask your wife if she will love to marry you again. Don't do it if you are scared of the truth o

Hi Englois,

(1) You can proceed to make payment if you can afford to pay and still have substantial amount in your bank statement but you can ask your school on their refund poilicy should in case the Visa approval does not come as expected. Though, it is not compulsory to make this payment but you must proof in your SOP or LOA that you are able to fund your tuition and living expense for the duration of your programme.( you can share this SOP privately with any of the guru in ths house to help you proof read to be sure there are no loopholes) Please dont post your SOP on the public forum. Your SOP is a very vital document to your application.

(2) Yes you have to declare all your biological siblings. IRCC do share information country by country with other countries so they will see this information in their record.

I wish you success and it will end in praise.
Thanks

(1) Is it compulsory I pay a year tuition fee before applying for student permit? My school has 3 terms in a year, can I pay for just one term?
(2) Must I declare all my siblings in the imm5645e form.
Please it's urgent! Thanks.

While I'm not justifying the policeman cos he deserves to be convicted, majority of Nigeria tailors are annoying. My tailor will sew 50% well and spoil the remaining 50%. I have like 5 clothes she spoilt this year, expensive materials o. I yaff tired for her sef. Those clothes wey go make make you wonder if she get brain at all. The only consolation is that sometimes she sews very beautiful clothes. The after and before of my tailor is far apart. You will be telling my tailor a particular style, she will be saying, don't worry, it was the style I sew for mama aboy. Let her finish the clothe, you will be soooo annoyed.
Again, I'm not justifying the policeman

Personally the state of the country is scary. Even those with good paying jobs are facing job insecurity cos of imminent layoffs. Inflation is another palaver. Imagine Gino tomato that goes for#50 now go for #100. Then another mentality of some people that God will take care of them is sickening. I'm not saying God won't take care of them but what plans do you have. I know of a private school teacher collecting #25000 salary and married with 3 kids before securing Npower job. After getting the job, he married another wife who now has two kids. All this because of #30000 Npower. Now, I don't have any pity to spare some people languishing in poverty cos of wrong decisions.

Woah! So many stories...
In this life, one should never wish to live with a people who don't give a damn about your survival. The worst part of living in staying in a place where food is abundant but still go to bed without eating a damn thing. My survival na only God.
Laslas, what doesn't kill you won't make you stronger. It will break your spirit, destroy any form of hope you have for a better future and make you stay contented with misery and pain.
Constant hunger and state of being broke don't only make you malnourished. It will twist your psyche and sanity so much that death becomes an easy way out for those without the strength and will to continue while those who can resort to any means possible to survive.

I just pray that people we make it out of all kinds of difficulties in life ALIVE and UNSCATHED and with our mental wellbeing intact.

I pray help locate you soon. Amen.

You will be surprised at some people's behaviour to prospective helpers that prevents them from receiving help despite the presence of plenty. There is a boy specifically a church member, who works in my mum's business centre. He came for computer training and due to church affiliation, he was admitted for free. There are like 15 trainees in the office. If there is a major job, like plenty typing and photocopy work, he will dodge and be playing with phone. He prefers to gist with friends, go to neighbouring shop to gist, press phone. So, around 2- 3, when my sister wants to prepare indomie Noddles for herself, he will start parading the place, start yawning, asking her if she needs help. After cooking, when she starts eating, he will be using side eye to look at her. My mother will then force my sister to give him part of the food. Whenever he is going home in the evening, my m will still dash him #150 of which the transport fare is like #80. She was like lemme do it for God. Lest I forget, before he resumed in my mother's office, he was well acquainted with my family. He could approach anyone. My dad will give him money, likewise all of us. I can remember a day I paid his laboratory fee for his secondary school. So, you can imagine my surprise when he came to my mother's office and showed his true colours. His behaviour became worse. His dad will give him manuscript to type for him, he will type and wil not pay. If asked of the money, he will say his dad said he will pay later, he still haven't paid though. So, he started stealing discreetly. I guess he thought we didn't know. My family was very surprised about his behaviour. When we see on Sunday, he and his brother weren't coming around us again. I wasn't surprised. I was sure he was concocting bad stories about us to his family. The most disappointing was that his parents never called to appreciate my mother, not even once. After the extensive lockdown and businesses were told to resume, his dad couldn't call my mum to ask her if she had resumed business, instead he called my sister to ask her. And, the next day, he came. You can imagine the audacity. Finally, school resumed some weeks ago and he was going to resume for 2nd semester. My sister asked him why he hasn't gone and he told her it's because of no money. He came throughout that week. Whenever he sees my dad, he will go and greet him. One day, while work was going on in the office, he sat outside with my dad. He was just there. I guess he was anticipating for my dad to ask him why he hasn't gone back to school, my dad was just reading his newspaper and ignoring him. My sis was very annoyed that the manipulating boy was sitting outside doing nothing while work was going on inside. She ordered him inside and he grudgingly went in. The boy was studying computer science in school but I'm sure he didn't learn anything cos he is so full of manipulations and deception of which my sister saw through it. The next week he came again with same story that no money so he couldn't resume. Finally, on the Friday of the week, he said he will be resuming on Sunday. He knew my parents could give him something tangible but my dad gave him a token. His vices are so many. On the sunday he was traveling, he came to the children church where I teach and was greeting the teachers. He was telling them he would be going to school in the afternoon. Nobody gave him face, I guess his behaviour was not hidden from them too.
Less I forget, his dad requested help from my dad to pay this boy's waec fee. My dad gave him #25,000. The next day, the man and my parents met at the butchery. He came to buy quarterful of a cow like my dad. He was dumfounded but my dad greeted him normally. Though, after that my dad still helped him as the case may be. Now, that he needed money for his son, he can't ask. The son's behaviour further exposed the family's numerous vices.

Please, endeavour to be useful wherever you are whether you need their help or not so that the day you will need their help, they won't hesitate to render it.

Mine is a case of being trusting. Though I've learnt my lesson cos you will really work hard to earn my trust. So, during NYSC, we just returned in January after the Xmas break. December allawee hasn't be paid and January is just starting. It was later we heard that the 2 months will be paid January ending. I served in Kaduna. My dad gave me #20,000 of which I used 7500 for transport leaving me with 12500. I just got into a relationship with one guy now my ex. He had a private school around my PPA. He called me that he was coming from his base in jos and I should come and meet him at the bus park. He had earlier informed me that he forgot his ATM at his residence around my PPA. So, I should come with his tfare and borrow him #10,000 with the promise that he will reimburse me when he gets hold of his ATM. I innocently agreed with the believe that he will settle me later. What I now had left with me was now #1000 which I exhausted after 1 week. He then ghosted me. Kai I called him, he said he travelled. Thank God I filled my gas cylinder in December before traveling. The villagers were nice. So, I got yams and beans in addition to the little rice I had. The #1000 got exhausted on stew. Then I went broke. I had to go meet the principal who gave me #1000. I suffered. I later broke up with him but up till today I haven't seen the money.till today.

He feels nothing yet he got her pregnant 4 times! Sorry to say but your friend is crazy.
So if you feel nothing for someone, the way you will show it is by bleeping her and making her give you 4 babies. Your friend should just say he is tired of bleeping a woman with 4 kids.

On a different note, here is an advice to ladies out there, if you know you want to have more than 2 kids, make sure you have C-section in all. Having many babies through your V will render it useless for the man you want to spend the rest of your life with. Especially when you have 4 babies in 4 years like our dear op's friend

Abi now! Sebi nah because of sex man dey marry woman. She should perform CS abi. Endure the pain, risk her life, all because she wants to keep the 'V' useful for her husband.
You need reorientation. Guess you are not even married! Keep your silly advice to yourself

Just to encourage those with second class lower (2.2) not to give up. I got my offer of admission from university of Windsor for Masters program (MASC). Thank you Jesus! Now to start processing my visa

Some Nairalanders have been enquiring via mail as of how I got admission offer for MASC.

So, I'd like to explain what I did.

Being a thesis based program, I had to secure a supervisor. I sent several mails, some unresponded till date. The mail comprise of a cover letter where i speak about myself, my B.Sc research project, my skills. Also, I tend to skim through the supervisors profile so I can include 2 - 3 sentences about their work and how it relates to mine. All this to no avail as some will say no funding, no space, inadequate GPA, etc.

So I changed tactics. After finding a prospective professor, I'll look for one of his/her numerous journals and read. Sometimes, It would take like 2-3 days to understand the journal and how it relates to mine. I'll then write my cover letter praising his research work and suggesting likely recommendations. I'll use like 65% of the cover letter to speak about the prof and his work and use the remaining space to speak about myself and how my work will benefit him. Afterwards, I'll attach my transcripts, CV and Bsc research project.

In no time, this worked and I got a supervisor who accepted me. He felt elated that I read and understood his project. I sent him another mail to give me a chance. He said he was not promising but he will try to defend me before graduate admission committee.

With God on my side, I received my offer of admission. I give all glory to God.

I apologise for the long post.
