Yen yen yen! Edo no be Lagos right? What crime was committed by Oshiomole that has not been committed in manifolds by Obaseki? 27 Likes 5 Shares |

That was a hasty decision from Samuel Eto'o. Indomitable Lions didn't perform so badly. They were unfortunate to play against Nigeria in the Round of 16. Perhaps, they could have progressed beyond that stage if they played against our noisy neighbour Ghana. The Super Eagles we are proud of today have been underperforming for some years back. African football is evolving, so no country has the long term dominance again. If your team performs below par, go back to the drawing board and re-strategize. 41 Likes 7 Shares |

Nigerian politics! The more you look, the less you see. Kwankwaso and his Kano Governor, Abba Yusuf are doing a yeoman's job to destroy whatever hope PDP has in Kano State. This implies PDP will not be influential as opposition party and indirectly benefits the party at the centre. 2 Likes |

The Oracle has spoken. It's what it is. Those guys are never cultured. You can only notice their true identity when you have a different opinion from theirs. Many people who hitherto believed in one "Andrews Liver Salt" political movement have learnt their lessons. They can drag their grandparents on the ground for any minute different opinion. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

This is not bad. More robust palliatives should be provided. Jagaban should do better. 5 Likes 4 Shares |

The die is now cast. Oshiomole, just grab your chair, get enough pop corn, a chilled bottle of champagne and sidon dey look. One of your two boys who claimed they were fighting "godfatherism" will soon become a godfather while the other one will directly or indirectly want to associate with you. 3 Likes |

It's easier said than done. When he was given the football administrative role in Delta State, I doubt Jay Jay performed any wonder. It's easier to criticize Sha. 3 Likes |

Hahahaha! #EdoNoBeLagos indeed. Karma is an incorruptible judge. Life Lesson: Be patient, steadfast and sincere. Those who conspired against you shall be consumed by their conspiracy and run back to you when the centre can no longer hold. Governor Obaseki has shown the tax collectors at the helms of affairs of a certain political party his true colours. Didn't he pay them to get their party ticket from the loyal party members? Senator Oshiomole, kindly draw your boy, the embattled Deputy Governor Philip Shuaib, close, rub his head, ask him how market, tell him Karma is a bitch and console him that shit happens. 4 Likes |

When you overrate your political prowess, this is what you get. Some myopic cabal members of the last administration cajoled this man that he would be the annointed APC candidate and he gullibly fell for it. How could he have been able to subdue the political connections of the Nigerian Political Emperor in person of Jagaban? It's not all about running a 2KM distance to prove your fitness 🤣 And when the coast became clear, he didn't choose his fight wisely. After the presidential primaries, Asiwaju visited all the contestants to placate them, this move I praised him for. "If you cannot endure the agonies of defeat, you don't deserve to enjoy the soothing relief of victory". 10 Likes 1 Share |

Good move there. However, it still beats my imagination how some of our politicians think. The idea to halt fuel subsidy was mulled over as far back as November 2022. When the last administration forwarded the 2023 Budget to the National Assembly for passage, our legislators saw that no provision was made for subsidy beyond May 2023 but they never queried the executive what necessary measures were put in place to cushion the effect. Governance is continuous, you think of the aftermath of your policies even when you are out of government. At this stage, it's clear to everyone that fuel subsidy removal was long overdue, but how will the executive handle the situation with respect to the welfare of the masses? God bless Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Please tell me what I don't know. If the son ticks all the criteria boxes, what is the crime in getting what he deserves? Is he less a Nigerian because his father is highly placed? As a Vice-Chancellor of a university, is it logical to deny one's son admission even when he did so well in JAMB UTME, SSCE and Post UTME in order to appear so good to the public? Most influential and successful people use their resources to prepare their wards academically, professionally, socially, etc for the future. Once you break the jinx of limitations, your descendants are positioned for greatness. J F Kennedy's, George W Bush's, etc generations benefitted from their ancestors' breakthrough in the Western world or the saner climes as some people like to eulogize them 177 Likes 16 Shares |

Ei! God Abeg. This is heartbreaking. Stray bullets terminating innocent young souls in the presence of their parents is a bitter pill to swallow. Every day is full of evils, may God shield us from them. |

hedonido: Rest. The whole nation is on Sallah break. Political office holders are not exempted from the Sallah break globally. Public office holders have committed no crime by spending their break on courtesy visitations, alignment, re-alignment and interacting with their political class/bases. Perhaps you have reservations for the presence of Gov. Alex Otti of Abia State who belongs to LP. |

Nice thread. Rush for catfish during festive seasons can also, among other things, be attributed to high rate of clubbing activities in hotels and guesthouses, carnivals, family reunion, etc where catfish pepper soup are prevalent. |

Hei! God Abeg. Where are the bullion van crew? Those could be part of the redesigned new currency we were scampering for. Couldn't forget how we paid #100,000 to collect old Naira notes of #70,000. There's God o. |

Sebi Edo no be Lagos na🤣 Una don forget? If you are good, you are good irrespective of where you pitch your tent. APC did not enjoy the governor, PDP beckoned at him. After paying the tax collectors to get PDP ticket, he succeeded in scattering their party. As it is, PDP is not proud of Mr. Governor again. 1 Like |

Medianna: Not as you think. In fact, a neighbour who lost fifteen people from the same family confirmed that the boat occupants were mostly children and their mothers. The women could swim as fishing is their major occupation but their attempts to rescue the children made them lost their lives too. Many women who were already safe at the riverbank were lured back into the river, seeing the children struggling for survival. They were returning from a wedding ceremony and you have to see how these people pack themselves whenever they are gracing any occasion. May God rest their souls. 2 Likes |

For me, I am skeptical of any means of success that is too easy and too fast. I was wired that way. The first attitude one has to cultivate to elude those ever increasing scammers is "greediness control." |

Those who sincerely assess Tinubu based on his antecedents won't be surprised about his administrative brilliance. Reno Omokri and his ilks are just waking up to the reality. My own reservation is how he will be able to manouvre many resistance he will get from political cabal, corrupt contractors/business men whose necks are deep in shoddy deeds and career civil servants. May God bless Nigeria. 55 Likes 8 Shares |

You don't understand governance and politics. Which scores are talking about? Emefiele was about to be apprehended last year during Buhari administration before he escaped abroad. When he returned, he snappily sought a court injunction to prevent DSS. His trial preceded Tinubu's administration. His atrocities were carried by print and electronic media since last year. AbdulRasheed Bawa of EFCC was equally alleged on many fronts ranging from not declaring some assets seized from corrupt elements to illegal ownership and sale of some confiscated assets. These allegations were widely publicised. These and some others tainted Buhari's administration to some extent. Would one be happy to inherit such legacies if found in Tinubu's shoes? Scores settling/ vendetta should not be underscored in those cases please. 7 Likes 4 Shares |
