Lordave: I understand where you are coming from. You are actually having a jaundice view of Nigeria goverment. But GEJ has come because of people like you, to put Nigeria in order through his transformation agenda.
Just in a little time, he would totally prove his critics wrong.

Also those that they bribe and promise local govt chairman seat(like u) to come and campaign and tell us lies. We have heard it all. Jonathan has been on dat seat since yaraduas death, why is it now, 2 yrs to his re-election that he is now working? what has been happening for the past 6 yrs+? What Yaraduas administations agenda did he complete? what was his own agenda when he started 3yrs ago? ow many has he completed. NONE. For ur info, Jonathan is not doing anything about the light situation he has only divided phcn and shared it to different private individuals that is why d power is better. He couldnt do it! Meaning increased light bills. Mstweee. TELL ME WHAT JONATHAN HAS DONE!! IN TRUE SENSE, NOTHING. he just privatized the various sectors & increased our taxes.

It amazes me to see how naive nigerians are. SMH!! Biafra war!!! You have tried that! did not work! Move on! SMH. I find it hard to blive that there is dis level of closed mindedness in nigerian youths. it is aoo sad. This is why they would continue to deprive and extort us. Because we dont even know the right questions to ask. We dont even know the true meanings of fundamental rights, how can we demand or have them? or how to even make objective decisions. we dont even know what criteria to based the decision for presidency on. we see it as regions and zonings, and who wins religious wars. We are really a low level educated nation. SMH. IT IS SOOO SAD.

SLIDE waxie: ^^ all u two dunces, edit ur posts, it reeks of this same arrogance that makes u lost the civil war!!!

Be realistic jes for once!! Does the SE/SS, makes up 36 states of Nigeria?

No they dont and that is our point exactly. The north is just a fraction of nigeria, lik the SE/SW and if you take a good look at ur nigerian map, you would realize the size of the north and how irrelevant the backing of the northern leaders is. We dont need it. They should back themselves up.

Truth be told, Nigerians are now more enlightened. Gone are the days when uneducated abbokis will sit in the north and decide who d next president would be. I dont support jonathan anyways but the northern leaders have no huge impact on who is president anymore. not after their boko haram show for the past few years. They are just simply irrelevant. we have properlly educated, competent & peaceful individuals who have the rights to run and be voted for. So the northern abokis or leaders or wateva dey call demselves can do wat eva dey lik. we dont care. THEY ARE JUST TOO IRRELEVANT. They have the rights to vote and be voted for like every other free living nigerian. Nothing more.

yaa coz it will be like dis, then wen jonathan wins re-election, the story will become ''we ran out of fundings for the completion of the project'' den it will go back to ow it was b4 his campaign. we have relived it many times. we know all these things. This is campaign strategy.

What was our international standings? how was the quality of life of the average nigerian? These are the questions to ask urselves. No nigerian leader has done anything tangible after him, they all looted money, opened biznesses for demselves and left us poverty. so ...... enlighten me.

Jonathan is already taking us to the promise land. Evidence is the number of foreign investors flooding into the country.

What promised land? Do you know what is a foreign investor? There is a differnce between a foreign investor and a company basing a branch of their company abroad. A foreign investor- buys a stake or shares in an already NIGERIAN company, organization, school, or institution, to promote the growth of that company, increase customer useability & create quality employment for the home based youths. (i.e nigeria). now a company opening a a branch at an international site is simply spreading it networks for increased profitability becoz they see nigeria as a place wher ther can get cheap Factors of productin(FOPs) cheap labour, cheap land, cheap housing etc. foreign companies offer cheap labour home based citizens they dont contribute to the annual cash flow of the economy. Whatever they are selling here and people are buying is a huge loop hole in the cash flow. becoz dey put very minimal into it but receive a whole lot more. For example, house of chi, indomie, beloxi crackers, DSTV, digestive these are foreign investors because they are franchised here, nigerian companies have the permission to produce similar products with their brand names.they employ nigerians to management and top level posts and their annual profits is still used for the reproduction process so it is being spent here. They have a great impact on our annual cash flow. Julius berger, kpmg, and any oda foreign body u see in the country are just foriegn companies based in nigeria. they dont employ nigerians xcept to cheap labour or middle /low managers, watever they get from the country dosent get spent here in nigeria, the profit is sent to the home country. I know its long but i felt i needed to explain things so you dont follow people blindly. Bcoz dey tell you its A u accept its A. be objective and critical while thinking.

Me i just feel that all we really need to do is to just remove the north. we dont really need to divide every state. just take out the northern states. The remaining states are either educated, business oriented or resource generators. And i think we would work beta without the north and their drama and everyday issues. Today its boko haram, tomoro its hijab for nysc, another day its muslim commission, another day its islamic banking, another day its sharia for 12 states. we are tired pls. No other state has given problems like dis in d past few decades. And the worst of all is that they are least contributors to our econmic gdp & growth. They simply have nothing to offer.

When there is a ripple effect problem in any situation, dont jumble things up, the first step for solving that problem is to ISOLATE THE PROBLEM. Analyze the direct and indirect effects of that problem and finally you annihilate the problem. smoke it out.

as for your useless map, why is it that you guys are hellbent on breaking up the north? some can decide to leave some may stay but that decision isn't yours but theirs, if you are sincere, how about showing the map of the northern protectorate as at time of amalgamation, some in the north you guys think hate the hausas might just surprise when the time comes.

THE NORTH MUST GO!!! they are the cause of all the problems we face in this nation. Nothing is stopping the north from going and all northerners are going to join ur brothers there ooo. You people want to divide the country and stay with the best state. never. You must go to ur poverty stricken state. The nagging as well as d challenging questions are these?
Will dis exchange of blames, accusations and insults bring rays of light in d midst of our predicament. We want a lasting solution to d Boko Haram mennace of which I gave my views and opinions. If it does not suit u, why not come up wit ur own rather than insult me. I ve at many occasions condemned d Boko Haram activities.
I strongly believe dat an appology to d Northern Elders wil pave ways to d restoration of peace in d North.
You wil recall dat d Northern Elders paid a solidarity visit to GEJ at d villa few weeks b4 he declared d SOE.
It was at dis meeting dat they pleaded for Amnesty 4 Boko Haram which GEJ later anounced.
At least d Federal Govt wud ve waited 4 d comitee to do there dialogue b4 d declaration of d SOE.
This is why d Northern Elders condemned d SOE. None is happy 4 wat is happening in d North. I urge u to ve a rethink and apologise to me.

Alright, now tell me what nigerians are supposed to apologize to the northern elders for? I just want to know. What did anybody in this country do the north or northern elders? You pple are d ones bombing & killing your own children in the north, you pple are dragging this country backwards, you pple are the ones trying to rob hardworking nigerians of their fundamental human rights. Tell me what exactly we are apologizing for? We are sorry that ..................? huh? Or all northern leaders should go and apologize to all the families of lost lives and try to negotiate with the presidency. I dont even know why they are making a big deal out of all this. I PERSONALLY FEEL THAT NIGERIA WOULD MOVE FORWARD TO PEACE WITHOUT THE NORTH!!! they should be cut off and left in their state of poverty and primitiveness. We really dont need the north for anything. We are better off without them.

In as much as I condemn dis killing and pray d souls of d departed to Rest in Peace, my emphasis is dat the use of force can't stop Boko Haram.
We need a leader like Buhari who d whole world knows he is sincere and capable of curtailing dis war against insecurity.
GEJ during his media chat told Nigerians dat he knows d sponsors of Boko Haram and dat majority are in his Govt.
GEJ govt is mostly made up of SS, SE and SW, thus it is 4 dis reason dat d Boko Haram sponsors can't b named.
You accuse Buhari who has at many occassions condemned Boko Haram. If u ve an evidence dat Buhari is a Boko Haram sponsor, why not come out wit it and sue Buhari. Why has d Federal Govt not arrested Buhari.
Let me tell u, Buhari is d best president Nigeria ever had. During his regime he never stole one penny, he fought corruption through his war against indiscpline and corruption.
Pls have a retink and join us on Buhari 2015 4 a better Nigeria

so what are you now? Buhari's campaign manager!tRUTH BE TOLD nIGERIANS DONT EVEN WANT ANY RELIGIOUS AFFILIATIONS TO THE PRESIDENCY. we need an objective leader. not all these hausa aboki's that are power hungry. How are sure buhari will not muslimize us? how can we trust him? Please go and enroll in night school.
Politics / Re: Boko-Haram Kills 30 Students In Yobe Boarding School by enny5: 2:15pm On Jul 07, 2013
franchizy: I ve said it over and over dat d only solution to dis Boko Haram menace is 4 GEJ to suspend the state of emergency, appologise to the Northern Elders forum, dialogue and grant Boko Haram Amnesty, rebuild all mosque. The military can't win d war cos 80% of Boko Haram are from d SS, SE and SW and are christians who are used to tannish d image of d North and kill our people but Allah will fight 4 d North and vindicate us.
Many of d Boko Haram sponsors are from d SS, SE and SW all in d name of Power but the North must complete there remaining 4yrs come 2015.
I urge Nigerians to support Buhari 4 a change and better Nigeria.

Who is this? Amnesty for what? Apologize to northern leaders for what? What exactly are you people fighting for? What? No mission, No course, faceless group of people. mstweee. Attention seekers!!!! Please go to school and get an education. I suggest dey just build a very large wall like the wall of china and cut the north out of this country. They should go with their groundnut and cows. We dont want. They keep dragging this country backwards, always forcing us to accept things that we dont want as if every1 in nigeria is a muslim. Is Nigeria a religious country? Nigeria is not a muslim country and it will never be. No matter how many sttes you guys bomb, or people you kill. It will never be. They will never shariarize 12 states in Nigeria. Because this is democracy. You cant tell anyone what to do or what to wear or what say or how to be. Everybody in this country is free to serve and wear whatever & whoever they want when they want. so i strongly feel that you guys should Accept This and Move On to greater heights. Probably send your children to school so they can be educated. The north does not want to move forward to industrailization, so must the whole country suffer backwardness and primitiveness with you people? if ur laws does not allow chances for evolvement and industrailization & technological advancements, others do! and we want to. so keep it to yourselves in north. dont spread it.

Nigerians are not objective and that is the main problem we are having now. He is working so? so what? What are his achievements in the past 8 years he has been president? What new policies has he institutionalized that has boosted the nation's resources, or quality of life status? What where his short and long term goals/ that of his political party when he was elected president? What percentage of these goals have been met? What economical sector has been greatly transformed during his regime? If there is, is this sector the most important sector as relates all other sectors? What works or agenda is he carrying out that he is basing his re-elections on? What is his party's political agenda and what are their past success stories? Give us a reason to re-elect him. There is none. Anyways not like we care though. We are not part of the electorial process anyways in this country. PDP is going to rig hte election again, steal the pesidency and we are going to go through another 4 years of deprivation, hunger, poverty, low quality of life, no fundamental rights to vote, illiteracy, increased emigration of vibrant & educated youths & be stuck 100years back in time from the rest of the world. Well nigerians are just waiting for all of them to die (inevitably) so we can move on. God helping us.

Now, let judge the following icon not based on how people feel about them in their various coutries, but on their impacts in our continent in past decades and the respect they earned from international bodies such as UN,AU,G8,10&50,WHO,etc. Please dont be passionate and sentimental about any of them, someone may be disliked in his land but loved and respected by others, if you are given the right or chance to vote, who among these three are you going to vote for?
They are:

SLIDE waxie: Is it to u that mandella is the african leader or to the world who alwys lean on their sentiment in voicing opinions?

Are u talkin of a leader who has a child outside his wedlock and couldn't come bold in the face of the world to accept her, so as to appear a better leader, holy and respected as the acclaimed saint the world chose to call him?

Be objective. Leadership has little or nothing to do with personal affiliations. Leadership is measured by what impact and change you instil in ur followers. How you can transform them for a greater good and purpose. Make them believe in something, give them a voice so they can be heard. That is leadership. Mandela was a transformational leader. Even if he denied 100 of his children, nobody cares. He was a leader, a hero, a fighter, gave his people a voice in the world and a life changer. A permanent stamp in history. A source of inspiration to anyone who reads his story. Mandela will be on the pages of time following Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther and the likes. OBJ was nothing but a cheap yoruba thug, a liar and a thief. Dont waste a thread talkin about OBJ and dont compare Obj to Mandela. Please. PLEASSSEEEE.

Please, nobody should classify OBJ wher Nelson Mandela is classified pls. Mandela is a strong african historical landmark whose name would forever be remembered in time and time to come. OBJ on the other hand was a nothing but a cheap corrupt politician who preyed on the africans he was entrusted with for status. Now my taxes, my sweat, my sacrifice, my looted money and wages made obj what he is today. Shaft that will be blown by wind into dust. He is not even worthy enuf to make The list of worst leaders on earth. Hitler already took that title. He will just be forgotten. Please Mandela is an icon and a star.
