Religion / Re: Abortion: Same As Murder? by etsunu(m): 2:56pm On Feb 24, 2010
Nice question. This borders on scientific progression of embryo. Whether abortion is the same as murder depends mainly on the stage of the embryo when the abortion is committed. At the age of 6months, the soul is believed to have been instilled into the embryo. Since murder is killing of soul any abortion committed at the age of 6 months and above constitutes murder. Abortion and Murder are outputs of immorality from factory of ill faith, since non of the two common religions of Islam and Christianity preaches immorality, let us refrain from anything capable of indulging in these devilish acts.
Politics / Re: Former State Governor Arrested For Graft by etsunu(m): 2:18pm On Feb 24, 2010
Blackmailing, intimidation and false accussations has constituted major political weapons of our politicians to nail down their opponents. The question is where were these detractors since 2007 when Gov. Adamu left Office?
Nairaland / General / Re: Show Of Shame : As Police Parade 9 Corrupt Officers by etsunu(m): 1:29pm On Feb 24, 2010
Let us accept the fact that police officers live in the same poverty striken economy with the treasury looters who never think of improving the welfare of these officers. Nothing happens in vacuum without cause; let the leaders provide all necessary infrastructural facilities and allow the police officers their fringe benefits, I bet you no one will think of corrupt practices in this country.
Politics / Re: Civil Servants Demand N100,000 Minimum Wage by etsunu(m): 12:59pm On Feb 24, 2010
Highly disappointed in the reasoning capacity of the so called ASCNS. How on earth will a reasonable man agitate for a rise in pay of merely 10% of the population of a country in absolute economic, social, political, cultural and administrative shambles. While you dont expect a driver to speed above the speedometer of a his vehicle. Atleast they have succeeded in having A WORK- chop in place of workshop.
Politics / Re: Yar'adua Returns To Nigeria: Condition Unknown by etsunu(m): 11:58am On Feb 24, 2010
Why should he return in the first place amist condition unknown while he left for Saudi under condition known to be unsound health. The minister of external Affairs owe Nigerians explanation on why Mr president is returned under condition unknown. Does this means that he cannot be cured and advised to go and wait for his death?
Politics / Re: 'you Cannot Run In 2011' Obasanjo Tells Jonathan by etsunu(m): 11:17am On Feb 24, 2010
Obasanjo Again Really nigerian politics has now be relegated to a jungle drama where wilds display their tactics. OBJ is planning to subject the political environment of great Nigeria to his monarchy where he selects who becomes what. His recent tactics is to instill inferiority complex in Jonathan to subject Goodluck's decisions to his authority. Beware, OBJ has no constitutional right above any Nigerian and his deeds while in office as the selected president was too destructive that he need not be heard in any meaningful decisions. Jonathan should forget about any threat from the self imposed so called political Godfathers and embark on programmes that are capable of fine tuning the socio- economic development of the nation towards rapid improvement of lives of the populace. Politics in its natural context is a game of population and acceptance.
Politics / Re: Blood Bath In Edo State House Of Assembly As Members Impeach Speaker by etsunu(m): 9:44am On Feb 24, 2010
In political arena PATIENCE is an effective medication 2 all sorts of ailments. This unfortunate blood bath could not have seen the light of the day if Hon. Omokhodion had exercised patience and represent his motion when ever the house reconvenes. Let the house revert to former status quo before the unfortunate incidence. And for those that attended the plenary session with arms; thorough investigation need to be carried out as this indicates predetermined deliberate actions.
Politics / Re: Will Jos Ever Recover It's Lost Glory? by etsunu(m): 1:44pm On Feb 18, 2010
How do u expect a blind man to recover his material that was deliberately thrown into sea by his children? the problem with Jos has not been given its right identity. The problem is that of geographical inclination and not religious or political as it is being addresed. The peaciful Jos can only recover its glory if historical approach of resolving geographical problems is applied. Let us put all necessary reforms in place that could allow reversion of STATE status, then dismantle Plateau state and revert all settlements to their former provinces before the creation of Plateau state.
Politics / Re: Breaking News! Rilwan Lukman, Petroleum Minister Resigns by etsunu(m): 1:09pm On Feb 18, 2010
His resignation should be suspended for approval until his activities while in office are comprehensively investigated. This could serve as a lesson 2 those dat think they could get away with their loots thru tendering letter of voluntary resignations.
