Family / My Newly Wedded Wife Stole From Me by Eucarl: 9:57am On Jul 29
I just got married, I was happy and felt like I had achieved a lot already only for me to wake up this morning to the first marital shock of my life. Barely 24 hours of our wedding, my wife has started stealing and lying.

After our wedding, all the cash that friends and well wishers sprayed us was counted and handed of to me by my sister. I asked her how much it was and she said it was nine hundred and thirty two thousand naira (930,000).

I gave the money to my wife to keep and we drove down to our hotel suite. We planned to stay a while at the hotel for the weekend and then travel for our honey moon afterwards.

At our hotel, we had some drinks and laughed over some funny incidents at that occurred doing the weeding then we both slept off.

I woke up this morning and I asked my wife how much was the money, she said it was four hundred and thirty thousand (430,000).

I asked her if she was sure, she said yes. I was shocked, I couldn’t believe my ears. I went to the bathroom and called my sister to confirm If I heard wrong yesterday but no, she confirmed that the money she counted and gave to me was 930,000.

My people, what do I call this one. Na so we go do the marriage ? I had no plans for the money, but why lie?

What would you advise I do, should I let it slide or confront her? If I do, it might spoil our honeymoon, if I don’t, it will spoil mine. God.

Family / I Lied About Being A Virgin, Now He Wants To Marry Me by Eucarl: 1:13pm On Jul 25
I meet this guy online sometime last year, we started talking, eventually we became fond of each other. We talk for hours on the phone and we are always texting.

One day we were talking dirty then I jokingly told him I am a virgin. I never knew he took it seriously, all I knew was his attention and care for me tripled. He became even sweeter. In June, he lost his uncle, he came back this month for the burial and he wants to take me along for the burial and also introduce me to his family and then come to see my parents so we can start making wedding plans.

I asked why he wants to marry me and he said “it’s hard to see women like me that still keeps themselves” oh!, I am in trouble.

I am not a virgin, infact I have two kids already. Whenever I tell my male acquaintances about having two kids, they disappear, now I told him I am a virgin, he wants to marry me.

I don’t know how to tell him, I tried getting him to have s*x with me so he will realise but he said he would want us to wait till after our wedding.

Please help me guys, what do I do ? I don’t want to loose him, he has done so much for me and I know he loves me, I don’t want to break his heart, he is a good man.

How best do you think I should approach this?

Family / My Girlfriend's Body Count Bothers Me by Eucarl: 2:49pm On Jul 22
My girlfriend of 2 years that I have made plans to marry in few months time just opened up about her body count and it’s bothering me, can’t get it out of my head.

We’ve made wedding plans but over the weekend we were talking, I asked her what’s her body count, it was just a harmless question, I didn’t plan to ask but one thing lead to another and I asked, she casually said 5.

I know her and I know when she is lieing , I knew she wasn’t completely honest to I asked again and assured her her past won’t change my mind about my decision of settling down with her, after all our wedding plans have been finalised, it’s just a matter of the date and time to come.

She paused for a while then she opened up, her body count was 67, she remembers the names of the men, the year, date and time.

I was shocked…. 67! What!!

Even as a man I haven’t slept with 67 ladies. It has been in my head since, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t even look her on the eyes like I used to.

I am not and over thinker, but I have been thinking about this… 67 men, that means she must have had s*x more than 200 times or more.

Please, someone should talk me out of this before I go crazy… I love her I can’t even think of leaving her, but this is stuck in my head. Help me guys

Family / How Do I Break Free From A Blood Oath? by Eucarl: 3:05pm On Jul 17
During my secondary school days, I was deeply in love with my classmates. We were each other’s everything, she was my entire existence and our love was pure and true (so I had thought). We decided to make a path to love each other forever, We pricked our fingers and mixed our blood, sealing our promise to always be together and never to break that promises.

But as we grew older, Life took a different turn. Her family relocated to another country and distance was definitely a barrier. At first we were pen friends for a while till we lost communication all of a sudden.

I tried to move on, but I am finding it difficult. I felt bound to her, unable to shake the feeling that I was meant to be with her. I wasn’t able to start, keep nor maintain a healthy relationship. During my University days I was in few relationships that all ended badly.

Years passed, and I struggled to form meaningful relationships. She was all I think about and most times I feel I am cheating on her whenever I am in a new relationship , even though we hadn’t spoken in years. The guilt and shame consumed me. I became withdrawn and isolated, unable to escape the torment of the promise and oath we took back in secondary school

Out of the blues, our path crossed again, seeing her brought a feeling of warmth I never felt since her departure. I thought it was fate at work, till she told me she was getting married, and she wanted me to come to her wedding. I was torn between my loyalty to our oath and my desire to move on. I ended up attending the wedding, and it was a painful reminder of what could have been.

After that, I realized that I needed to break free from the oath. I tried dating again but still encountered the same issues…. I will call and message her constantly even in her marital home. Eventually we connected and started dating again even though she was married. It went on for 8 years till she broke it off citing she wants to focus on her marriage.

Right now I’m in horrific pains.. I don’t know what to do, she and her husband have just one child who is 4 years old that I constantly feel is mine. I confronted her recently about the child because he looks just like me.

Please I need advice, what should I do at this point? I am still in love with her. Secondly, we both took the oath, why am I the only one feeling the negative effect.

You know that wet line that looks like water or steam that is left on chairs after seating on it, yes that’s bum sweat, at first I didn’t know what it was called but it’s my biggest nightmare right now.

I just started working at my new job, Its my dream job. I finally got it, bum sweat is wants to embarrass me, that’s if it hasn’t, cause my colleagues are starting to talk about it but in the background.

I leave bum sweats on every chair I seat on. Unfortunately, I sit on many chairs cause we have series of meetings.

Family / My Husband Don't Like Brushing His Teeth by Eucarl: 10:19am On Jul 15
Please I don’t know how to attend to this, we’ve been married for 3months with my husband. Now as we’re staying together full time,l notice he doesn’t like brushing teeth at all, we actually fight over that. You find that it’s two days already passed but whenever I remind him he’ll have excuse all the time and when he finally does (brush teeth) he doesn’t do it thoroughly.
I’m frustrated by this, he’s a well respected and people’s person. He treats me so well but when it comes to this issue, a fight may come anytime. You’ll find that we’re going to ch*rch or town but when it’s time for us to brush teeth he’ll say he’s getting late and become ang*y with me. I can’t even kiss him freely, what do I do? Please assist me here.

Family / My Husband Divorced Me After Two Months Of Marriage by Eucarl: 11:15am On Jul 14
I met my husband last year we dated for months then we got married early this year. 3 Weeks into the marriage he started complaining that he doesn’t like me, that there girls that really wanted him but he refused. He started talking about his ex that he loved her and so on.

Then he started verbally and emotionally abusing me saying I am lazy, I can’t cook, am not attractive, he loves his ex he insults me . I sat him down and we talk about what the problem he said he doesn’t like me anymore.

After some days later he travelled and sent me back to father’s house he told my parents all sorts of things that wasn’t true. I was heartbroken.

Then he sent his people to collect the bride price and told me he is going to marry his ex this August. Like I was shocked why did you come in the first place, since you were going to display such attitude.

Do you want to divorce yourself from the asset that feeds its children and puts a roof over your head for love elsewhere, or is it for fuq?

If you were frank with yourself, you'd know by now that neither of you knew what love was when you entered this relationship. I mean, just hear yourself, "he doesn’t see any bad thing in sharing his face towel with a particular lady", but now you see "bad thing in sharing his face towel with a particular lady" and want to divorce him.

Nigeria is hard these days, so I wouldn't advice going solo with 2 kids who deserve love.

Wahala for modern marriages. Hope you didn't force yourself on him to marry you that's the mistake most ladies make. Or maybe you guys are not sexually compatible, a lot of marriages have gone due to sexual incompatibility. Find out why he stopped loving you and try to readjust, sometimes temporary seperation reset the brain and it's what is needed to bring back the fire, this actually worked for some people I know and they came back stronger.

Most times divorce isn't what you need to make your marriage work
Family / Thinking About Divorcing My Husband by Eucarl: 3:02pm On Jul 13
I was very much in love with my husband when we got married. He is someone that doesn’t see any bad thing in sharing his face towel with a particular lady . He would say it means nothing. But then there is a particular incident that got me. I caught him still chatting with his ex'(s). Saying he’s still attracted to them.

But the recent one is spending so much time on social media with a particular lady and using romantic words and discussing what should be discussed with his wife with her. After I caught them I chatted the lady and warned her but rather he decided to text the lady and told her to ignore my thre*t telling me that he finds joy chatting her because once he discuss with me he won’t achieve his plan. He said I have always been bad luck to him that no achievement since he married me but yet he owns a land of his own. We have 2 kids. And he made it clear he isn’t in love with me anymore but sees me as his children’s mother.

Since then I felt disappointed because I love him so much. I can’t stop loving him but he told me the love died before the second child. This things has gotten a lot on me because he went to the extent of locking his phone so I don’t see the sh*t he’s doing anymore.

Now I feel loving someone who doesn’t love me is out of it. I want to get a divorce and move on with my life. I want to ask if I’m making the right decision
