Romance / Re: Men Would You Easily Forgive Ur Woman If She Rains Insults On You? by eyeshadow(f): 12:27pm On Apr 27, 2009 |
This post has opened by eyes to a lot of issues in my relationship and I'm glad about that. I have never abused my partner (using the words fool, crazy, mad etc) however sometimes when exchanging banter I know I can be quite annoying. A lot of the replies here from the men sums up how he feels when I overstep my boundary. I now know how to act when my joke isn't a joke to him. |
Family / Re: My Husband And I Tested Hiv Positive Please Help by eyeshadow(f): 9:12pm On Apr 10, 2009 |
Purestboy, you have anger management issues. I have seen your apology and also your message asking if someone was blind. I know you are going to attack like a viper so, Bring it on! If you ask my opinion I think you should post your own topic to ask for suggestions on how to manage your anger before it destroys you and the people around you. Ehen and back to the main reason I'm here, Poster. HIV is a virus so it doesn't kill, AIDS does therefore if you take medication and follow your doctor's advice hopefully it shouldn't get to that. Remember that you have your baby, your husband and other people who love you to live for. Be strong. |

Business / Re: Which Online Business Or Job Can A Student Do? Pls Help by eyeshadow(f): 9:38pm On Apr 04, 2009 |
Neeme, please ignore all jobless posters giving silly advice and making fun of your query. As a student I sold clothes. Most times I got them from people who went abroad and I sold them for a profit. If you have money to invest you can ask someone going abroad you help you buy clothes, shoes, accessories etc. The advantage you have in being in the campus. I wish you all the best. |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Contract Job With Total (200k) Vs Masters In The Uk: Which Do U Prefer? by eyeshadow(f): 9:16pm On Apr 04, 2009 |
I'm actually surprised that a company that big would pay as little as 200k per month for a contract job. I would take the opportunity and go and better myself with a masters degree. |

Fashion / Re: Why Are GHD Straighteners So Expensive?! by eyeshadow(f): 7:12pm On Jul 12, 2008 |
HR.hotness, from my post it's very clear that I have never owned one. I have used a friend's own but didn't notice any difference, so if u have used or owned one and u know you think the price can be justified, please I'm dying to know, Y IS IT SO EXPENSIVE? Seun, a ghd is a brand that makes electronic straighteners amongst other things. There are others such as Remington, Babyliss, Toni Guy etc. Others seem to be reasonable in terms of price but ghd's are so expensive and they do the same job. Even the professional Remington straightener cost £44.99 so I don't understand why the basic ghd costs £99.99! |
Fashion / Why Are GHD Straighteners So Expensive?! by eyeshadow(f): 11:59pm On Jul 11, 2008 |
Hello people, I usually wear my hair natural so I always have to have an electronic straightener but the worst has happened, mine recently packed up and I've had to braid my hair while I shop around for a new one. I used a Remington (which cost me £25) for 2 years and it served it's purpose but a lot of people say if it's not a GHD then it's not worth it. Why? They are so expensive and I don't get it. The least I've seen for a GHD is £99.99 and the most £129.99! What is so special about GHD's? I'm love my hair and there's no limit to the amount I can spend on it but I need to understand what a GHD straightener can do that my poor old Remington didn't. |

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Must Not Get Pregnant! by eyeshadow(f): 3:14pm On Apr 30, 2008 |
Why were you having sex without a condom if you are not trying for a baby? Anyways, the only way you can know if she is pregnant is by her getting tested. Do that and please next time wear a condom, not just to prevent against unplanned pregnancy but also STIs. |

Oshodi has to be the safest place. Reason: all the thieves leave from there and go to Ikoyi and V/I to rob; plus no one dares go to their den (oshodi) to rob. |

Romance / Re: Why Do Guys Lose Interest In Relationships After The Chase? by eyeshadow(f): 1:39am On Mar 23, 2008 |
Plain and simply, the lady stops doing those "things" that she used to do when he was chasing her and becomes very lax in the relationship. Thats the same thing that happens in most marriages-the woman lets herself "go", puts on weight and stops looking like the person he so much wanted to be with. The verdict? Keep on looking good and keep being the woman that he wanted to be with so badly. |
Romance / Re: Why Do Guys Lose Interest In Relationships After The Chase? by eyeshadow(f): 12:58am On Mar 23, 2008 |
I think it's a two way thing. What I believe is that if the girl becomes a bit lax in the relationship and stops doing the kind of things that used to drive the guy crazy, he doesn't really feel the need to try too hard any longer. Girls, keep doing your thing and keep looking hot, that way he'll never stop chasing. Even when you both are old and grey. |
