TV/Movies / Re: What Can Be Done To Improve Nigerian Movies? by FactorChic(f): 6:28pm On Jan 16, 2008 |
I know right. They should spend more time rehearsing, have u guys noticed how some movie producers just release them like 20 movies in a week, WHAT D HECK?! and most of them turn out to be wack! Spend more time on your movie before u release it They should work on their action scenes too. You will see them using toy guns, or guns made out of woods, when someone shoots all you hear is a sound, you don't see anything. Dem shoot person for head, d person go dey scream "MY HEAD MY HEAD" how fuked up is that?! Their love scenes are wack too, especially in those yoruba movies. I'm Yoruba and I can't even stand most of their movies. Learn from people like Tade Ogidan (that guy is a genius), main Frame Productions is the best. and this lady Funke something, she's a great writer. They should learn from people like that. For once those english people movies shout try and be ORIGINAL you will see movies like "What is love" "Is this love" "Ok for sure, this is love" "definition of love" "who killed your father" "did I kill your father?" , and the list goes. movies with different titles but the same story line. Did y'all see that movie, they copied "Two can play that game" BE ORIGINAL! [s]naija movies have a long way to go mehn, damn![/s] |
Education / Re: How To Improve My Spoken English? by FactorChic(f): 6:15pm On Jan 16, 2008 |
Ezenwenyi: You are so right, Pidgin english is kinda fun but it messes up your english, the only time I use pidgin english is when I type, I can't even speak it. The only way to get better is if you talk more, if u're so scared of making mistakes and you keep quiet in public, u won't get better |

ogrebuga: God bless you heart Ogrebuga! I also believe the reason why most women do that is because of MAN AND HIS EGO. Most guys out there feel threatened when they are below their wives, especially in this our Yoruba land, even the man's family will not make him feel comfortable, you'll start hearing them say stuffs like "O ti so e di gbewu dani, oloshi, o ti ro efo fun e je" and all that BS! some ladies out there find it hard to be totally subjective to a man that's below them, they don't see the reason why they should do whatever he says cos they make more money than him, infact in most cases, the lady is the one taking care of the man. and yeah, we can always blame it on the society So if a woman has a lot of money and she knows she cannot be subjective to a man that makes less, hey! Why not go for someone richer? I believe I answered the question to dis so called "MARRY UP" thing, |
