Recently a friend of mine called me from Nigeria and requested to borrow some money, she was so confident of paying me back in a short while that i became suspictious after pressing her she informed me that she wanted to invest it in a firm called ijoyaa, located at ikeja i inquired from her if they had a website and she promptly gave it to me on the phone. At first i couldnt picture out the kind of business these guys were into but i knew it was a scam, tho i couldnt verify it 100% i thought i share it here, have you had dealings with these people, what can we do to stop innocent people from loosing their hard earn money?. According to the websites they claim to be into adverts and selling of circle, heck i don't know wht they mean by that, but wht i know is that with the huge return they promise if they arent into drugs it would be virtually impossible to meet up with such return, could it be another form of a wonder bank??, please help out.
Their terms and conditions on the website sounded cocky when i read it, and most people don't even go thro' the terms they are lured by the promised return which might never come in. Worst of all why would a business based in Nigeria dealing with a people whose currency is naira transact its business in dollars if its not to lure them in with hard currency.

I have taken time to go thru the site, made some enquiries and my conclusion is another GNLD/forever L/P concept but with compensation plan represented in boards/graphically. Now any return is achieveable( ask the first set of ppple that started GNLD in Nigeria) as long u have pple buying the products in ur network.

We are begining to get unnecessarily sketical about anything Nigerian, quite understandable, even if Microsoft changes its name to Nigeriansoft, some will still call it scam.

Over-analyzing issues, no wonder the billionaires of this world are not University Professors!

Okotie Steals The Show, Finally Weds By Stephanie

At last, the hush-hush rumour of romance between Rev. Chris Okotie and Stephanie Henshaw, will culminate in a holy wedlock this weekend. Okotie, a holder of Law degree (he skipped Law School) is a stuff of eloquence who means many things to different people.

Stephanie, a light skinned beautiful widow and mother of three, became Okotie's sunshine, after his ex-wife, Tina, backed out of his life when she walked out of her sixteen years old marriage. Chris Okotie's marriage with Tina, contracted in 1984, packed up in 2001 with the world hearing only his side of the story. His wife's sudden disappearance from the scene was soon followed by a divorce, and a statement credited to Chris that his wife's decision to leave him was because of her phobia for Nigeria and desire to live in America. Now her loss appears to be Stephanie's gain, and the letter seems not only willing to tag behind the man of God, but stick very close to his heart, in his home and at last become his wife. Today, Friday, she will triumphantly be sealed legally, with the man of God as his wife at the Ikoyi Registry before the final church wedding on Sunday.

Not much is known about Stephanie Henshaw besides the fact that she is undeniably beautiful and has been trailing Chris long before now. Of late, however, some amazing revelations about her began to spring up and among the gist was that the Calabar-born Stephanie has an Igbo mother and is in her late 30s. She was once married to her late husband who happened to be Pastor Okotie's best friend in school. Their marriage was blessed with a son who is now in his 20s but then her husband got hit by a bullet and passed on. This circumstance led to Pastor Okotie stepping into her life in a bid to offer her succour until the day Stephanie suddenly disappeared and one day resurfaced with a new husband. One of the reasons why many thought Stephanie was disqualified was not just that she is a mother of three, Pastor Chris has been the family pastor during her two marriages and Stephanie's second husband was said to be Okotie's oldest church member.

Well, despite all odds, Stephanie has gotten her victory and is today being crowned the first lady of Household of God. Earlier on, when Pastor Chris was accosted by a group of press men, he made known his intention on the marriage and remarked that one of the things he loved in Stephanie is her 'angelic' beauty. He also said she has an understanding and a humble disposition which she had displayed by keeping a low profile in all the years she had married a public figure. I also know that in civilzed societies laws are clearly writen and spelt out. There is no part of Lagos traffic laws or rules that states a road should become one-way drive from 3pm neither is there a sign to indicate that. Even GOD the first creator of law wrote his on a TABLET.

The World Health Organisation said Friday in Geneva that only a total ban on all forms of tobacco advertising can stop the "constantly mutating virus" of the marketing industry and protect vulnerable young people.

It all depends on the program you choose to run. I did the one-month course and the first two days were purely theoretical. It had to do with learning driving signs and the various parts of the car.

Practical driving classes started from the 3rd day and I chose to drive for 30 minutes each day because I used to go during office lunch hour. Saturdays were for core defensive driving workshops in the classroom with the use of projectors and DVD players to show some slides/videos to drive home the point.

Altogether, I'd say it was a very thorough learning experience.
