European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by fadson: 7:47pm On Feb 13, 2009 |
Hi guyz, I am a regularly visitor here, Love the analysis and arguments.Above all i love my Chelsea, no matter what! Pls guyz lets analyze Scolari's comment below and see if the new MAN can make any difference: Scolari said: “At Chelsea we don't have the player who can make the difference by himself by producing something magical on the pitch. "We miss that. In the past, Arjen Robben was at Chelsea and he could make the difference. But now there is no one. "Robinho could have been this player. He is not afraid to dribble, to take a risk. As a Brazilian, I like this. “My team isn't Brazilian enough. It is a 'bureaucratic' team. That's the style of my players. That's why Robinho would have done a lot of good for the team. "With my squad it's very difficult to play with Drogba and Anelka up front. I don't have the players to play on the wings in a 4-4-2 system. “Salomon Kalou can play on the wing in a 4-3-3 but not in a 4-4-2 because he doesn't defend well enough. "With Anelka and Drogba at the front, who would play on the left? And in the middle? “If we played 4-4-2 we would lose the battle in midfield. So, I have to choose between Anelka and Drogba. "Drogba lacks a lot of confidence at the moment. After two or three big injuries, he is missing something. Drogba doesn't have enough confidence, so I choose Anelka." |

kenflipper: Re:Ijoyaa.com A New Form Of Scam Or What ? Bros are u really asking question because i can see u have a mindset already about the program I have taken time to go thru the site, made some enquiries and my conclusion is another GNLD/forever L/P concept but with compensation plan represented in boards/graphically. Now any return is achieveable( ask the first set of ppple that started GNLD in Nigeria) as long u have pple buying the products in ur network. We are begining to get unnecessarily sketical about anything Nigerian, quite understandable, even if Microsoft changes its name to Nigeriansoft, some will still call it scam. Over-analyzing issues, no wonder the billionaires of this world are not University Professors! |

Religion / Re: Gay Church In Nigeria by fadson: 1:55am On Jul 30, 2008 |
Why are homos attracted to one another? In my opinion, a lesbi should be attracted to a 'real/straight woman' and not a fellow lesbi In the samevein a homo guy should be attracted to a 'real/straight man' and not a fellow gay man If only some of them will accept that this sexual orientation is abnormal , like children born with certain abnornalities, seeking medical/spiritula solution, maybe the world would focus attention on soluton I no fit shout, abeg |
Car Talk / Re: Traffic Violations In Lagos State Attract Ridiculous Fines by fadson: 11:28pm On Jun 16, 2008 |
fadson: I also know that in civilzed societies laws are clearly writen and spelt out. There is no part of Lagos traffic laws or rules that states a road should become one-way drive from 3pm neither is there a sign to indicate that. Even GOD the first creator of law wrote his on a TABLET. |

U know its very easy for some pple to say 'the laws are in order' because u live outside the country and enjoy the luxury of traffic signs, Do u know a first-timer cant drive in Lagos without 'breaking the law'? Do u know that somewhere in Shasha area, a particular road is two-way drive from morning till 3pm and after 3pm it becomes one-way? and there are several of them like that in Lagos! |

More money for the 'boys' on the road, it will be 'more lucrative' to be lastma or police official in Lagos than working in oil coy Honestly now i know Lagos Govt State officials need to have that psychiatric test usually recommended for one-way drivers. How many vehicles on Lagos road worth N250,000? |

The following statement was credited to Roman Abramovich when he bought Chelsea FC. Maybe an understading on it will shape our perception about this guy: "The goal is to win. It's not about making money. I have many much less risky ways of making money than this (buying Chelsea football club). I don't want to throw my money away, but it's really about having fun and that means success and trophies" |
Health / Smokers Face Prosecution In Nigerian Capital by fadson: 11:48am On Jun 06, 2008 |
Smokers in public places in Nigeria's capital Abuja will be arrested and prosecuted from June 1, a senior health department official for the federal capital said on Saturday. "As from tomorrow (June 1), we will begin to arrest and prosecute people who smoke in public places in the entire Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja," said the FCT official. "We are going to enforce the anti-tobacco act promulgated in 1994. The law enforcement agents have been alerted," said the official who requested anonymity. At a national level, the federal government has in recent years intensified media campaigning against smoking. "Smokers are likely to die young," is a popular advertising slogan on radio and television stations. The advertising of tobacco and tobacco products has also been banned on broadcast and billboard media. The World Health Organisation said Friday in Geneva that only a total ban on all forms of tobacco advertising can stop the "constantly mutating virus" of the marketing industry and protect vulnerable young people. May 31 has been designated World No Tobacco Day |
