Saw this in the phones section of nairaland and felt i should re share.

I however do have the following reservations:
Why are we requested to put in our BVN? The website isn't hosted at 'https' a more secure way of transmitting information on the internet. What is the guarantee that the information submitted which contains our BVN wouldn't get intercepted on transit?

Please will appreciate a valid response form the media team.
