i rest my case.

Hey Mr. Manuch, Can you please include the deleted columns which show the oil production and population for each of these counteries so we
can make a fair assessment. This table is not complete. Because Nigeria is 3 times the population of all these counteries and each of them produces an
average of 3-4 times our daily oil production.

fatherof2 how u dey? You have been in hiding and for good reason I suppose.

At least we now know that there is cash to move this market even if it is a 2weekly cycle. This is how it should have been if not for the 1% wahala.

I am hoping we will start having higher lows and higher highs as the market tries to recover.

Seriously doubt it, you will know when the market has resumed a normal cycle. AS E BE NOW, e never happen, not when 95% of traded stocks all follow in one direction. THAT IS TOTALLY ABNORMAL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. Its probably months of accumulated salaries that moved things a little last two weeks.

Hello all,

Just heard from my broker, 5% downward slide will resume on Monday.

CBN is definitely pumping cash into the system.

* Have you noticed the volumes on Dangote sugar? D last time there was a revival, dangote was among d first to move. Seen the vol on Skye and oceanic? Someone I know is buying up tomorrow.

* Noticed the number of announcements and results coming out within the last 2 days? These includes reconstruction and the rest?

*NOTICED D CBN ANNOUNCEMENT? DON"T DISCOUNT IT.

Hope this helps for those interested. CAVEAT DEY PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETY O!

P.S I am buying tomorrow.

I for suggest you wait small sha ohhh.Check tomorrow first and try Monday. Some things never ripe yet.

@father of2,
the offer positions in oceanic are dropping down,from 137 to 54million in one day.I Belief felas has started withdrawing their mandates.

That one is not the problem really. 134million offer can change to be bid overnight.Usually that is not too important a parameter.
What i'm looking for has not yielded completely, if it doesn't yield completely, any turnaround will be shortlived.
It doesn't look good now for at least first few days of next week.But i pray it maintains this 1% for another few days so everything can set properly for
a turnaround. In hindsight now seeing how 1% behaves on price movement, it shows CICO moves can still reign again.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by FatherOF2: 7:57am On Sep 12, 2008
ha na wa, oceanic is not going right again. which kind tin be this. 1% is just a whole new ball game.

@fatherof2,
remember 50million units of oceanic on offer, only 4.8million sold so far. that means few buyers.Remember no patterns right now on the NSE.But anything can happen.Any person buying or selling anything now is gambling.Oceanic can be #40.00 or #15 in the next 2months.Lets pray things may normalize soon.

Buyers dey look for the right conditions to arise before they reappear. When dem reappear, all those 50million traders wen wan sell garri go start to dey hoard am make price go up.

were u able to exit your oceanic you talked about last week? u had wanted to exit by last friday, and since tuesday last week oceanic has been in reds. l cross my fingers on oceanic for now, l pray it goes up as u said.

As you can see i'm planning more. I didn't sell because there was no point in selling then considering the impact of 1% on CICO moves.
We saw the impact of the good side (5%), its important to also sit back and understand the statistical impact of the new 1% on price movement, then you can plan.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by FatherOF2: 11:13pm On Sep 09, 2008
Finally now we're getting a clearer picture of behavioural patterns.
I'm ready to buy some more Oceanic by this friday at lowest price, sacrifice loosing 1% by monday next week, logic of this is that by Tuesday next week, Oceanic should start reversing. Volumes are thinning out, there may be non available to buy by next monday, best bet will be this friday to get some more.

@father of2,
that oceanic na #30.00 stock oo!!. no just rush out like that and rush in later @ #35.00. cause this 1% downward stuff go affect cicoers like you badly.meanwhile their year end has been changed to december,which made it more interesting.Just my thoughts. undecided

I know you're very right. I stayed up late trying to study behaviour of those who have fallen. Its very interesting.
In no time, these prices will be much higher. Not until they remove that 1% thing, CICO will be hard and unprofitable.

But on another note, the 1% down change doesn't seem to make CICO encouraging now. We need to see how quickly it affects them into oversold.
I believe they'll all move even higher after falling 5%. We just have to wait to see how the 1% down affects the technicals.
