WHAT I DID DIFFERENTLY

1, I paid my first-semester tuition in my first application. So, for my second application, I paid the second-semester tuition too

2, My spouse deposited 4M Naira (bulk sum) into my account for my one-year upkeep.

3, I moved the money from my mutual benefit money market account in Stanbic IBTC to a regular account in GTB. I explained why I moved it. The money was there in the first application, but I felt the VO was of the opinion that it would not be easily accessible. I showed a trail of how I moved it with bank alerts and stated that the account has been in operation for years and all the money was ours, with no bulk payment from outside sources.

Indeed what God cannot do does not exist!!

I too submitted on April 27 2022, and I got my PPR yesterday with the help of MP and the email I always send to IRCC twice in a day until yesterday.

Is your agent suppose to pay for your medicals? I mean does the fee you paid cover your medicals? If yes, that’s the reason they want you to keep waiting for a medical request. My guess is, they’re hoping you get a denial, that way they won’t have to pay for it. If you can afford it, do an upfront medical exam. I’m currently in the same boat and I plan to get an upfront medicals done soon.

It’s an undergraduate program (university of Manitoba) Can I email the admission offer for deferral to January 2023? Due to the delay in my visa processing.

Will they approve this deferral as I haven’t paid my tuition fee (U of M undergraduate program doesn’t require tuition deposit).

NB — This application was submitted October. It’s almost 11 months now. (I ordered for Gcms already)

If your letter of acceptance has 3 starting date, they won’t defer your admission, instead they’ll ask you to reapply again. I know this because it happened to me and I had to reapply but luckily, I got another admission within a week. You can try reaching out to them for a deferral, I hope yours will be different from mine. Good luck.

Since Eligibility timeframe varies.

Please how do you know when your eligibility review has started? Do you get a message? What does it say on your dashboard? Mine says “We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility
requirements.” is it the same on your own?

1. It's IRCC that is supposed to update it. Most times, biometrics is updated the same day, but these days due to technical issues, they are not updated on time.
2. It is possible, but only the GCMS note can give you the correct progress.
3. It starts counting from the time of submission. However, IRCC cannot process your application without biometrics.

I just removed the picture. I’m sorry you’re going through all these, I had the same experience 5years ago. They even went as far as getting me a fake Canada visa stamp and a flight ticket that I didn’t even know until I got to the airport. Try confronting her with all these discrepancies you noticed and hopefully she’ll fess up and tell you the truth so you can start your application properly yourself. Good luck.

I received my ppr some days ago which I shared here. In it, I was informed that my passport must be valid for the duration of my expected length of stay in Canada. Unfortunately, my passport has just 8 months validity, which is not up to my expected length of stay.

I therefore need to do a new passport ASAP because I have less than 30 days to submit my passport. I believe we all know the difficulties and delay in doing a new passport or renewal now. Most of the immigration office in Nigeria have no booklet at the moment.

I met someone(immigration officer) who told me that they can do an e-passport for me at their own office and it will take just a week to be ready. I just want to ask, does Canada accept e-passport?

If you’re in Edo state or you can travel down, I can give a contact at the immigration office and you’ll get your passport within 5-7days. I renewed mine recently, just waiting for my PPR.

PPR means passport request. It’s the message you get to submit your original passport for visa stamp when your application has been approved.

I did my application through an agency that works with a RCIC. I got a message from her that my application application was submitted on the 13th of April and I had my biometric done on the 27th of April. But the thing is I don’t even know the status of my application right now because when I asked for access to my application, I was told it was impossible as she had submitted the application through her RCIC portal. Please is there anyone in similar situation? It’s getting really frustrating.

I was trying to watch a movie on my phone just to distract myself from IRCC delay when i suddenly fell asleep with one side of my face on the pillow. Awhile later i woke suddenly to hear my heart pounding as if it was located at the back of my ear. I rushed to my dad's room to use his Bp machine to check and behold my Bp don rise. I am a 25 years old guy i no deserve all this mental stress wey IRCC dey give me ooh. Today makes it 5 months and 5 days since i applied, i have missed May intake and September is just around the corner. When i write to them ,they will tell me to withhold from writing further. Na student visa i apply for abi na for days of unending misery and pain. I am trying to be strong Aswear. No you are not paying 30k euro. It means The insurance you are buying should be cover for 30k euro. When you go to those selling insurance for schegen visa they already understand. Just let them know you want an international insurance that covers for 30k euro. Price range should be around 35,000 naira depending on the insurance company you are using.
