Islam for Muslims / Re: Language Barriers In Mosques by Fiver: 12:11pm On Nov 02, 2012
I think it wouldn't hurt to bring this to the attention of the imams or his entourage before prayers next time, little by little they will get translators even if they can't do it themselves afterall most of them can speak it, they will be many volunteers amongst the hieracy who would gladly stand next to the imam with a mic to translate.

Or better still before the sermon make an announcement that you'd like them to translate as there are young people losing out, many would gladly come up with a solution- don't know about those alfas in ilorin though tongue

andyihezie: There is a new free theory testing site now: http://www.nigeriadrives.com VERY accessible on mobile phone

Nice try, but check question number 6, there are not road markings to say which is the minor road or major road, hence the car giving way
Travel / Re: Overland Airways - Is It Safe And Reliable? by Fiver: 5:23am On Nov 01, 2012
Got to abuja last week, had a friend who wanted to mEet up from ilorin but due to bad roads and the flood I sugggested the overland. I've previously read about it before coming. It was 24k one way.
Apparently the flight was coming from lagos: people were still on board lol though no complaint

Lagos-ibadan is easy by road!!

Millenium park (close to senate's house):artificial fountain....always too busy and jam-packed for my liking....good for get-together though!
Jabi Park (close to airport junction) : its like lake....very cool.....not too busy....good for a date....flying boat of course!

went past millennium park, seems fairly big and empty perhaps the sallah holidays
