do u know it is more expensive bringing up a child educationally in nigeria than in europe, how i came to this conclusion?i just came back from nigeria yesterday, you see because of the present reccsioin europe i have been having the idea of taking my family back to nigeria to start a new life,so i decided to visit home first alone to asses things, school fees in nigerian private pry schools are so high,my kids attend govt schools here in europe but to my greatest surprise only a few private schools i saw in nigeria that can compare in standard to the govt school my kids attend here(which i dont pay anything)lets not even talk talk about public schools in naija. the schools that were up to international standards in naija are few and very very very expensive,my conclusion?my kids are gonna remain here o cos i now count myself lucky that my kids are having the best of education FREE WHAT MORE CAN ONE ASK? 3 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / So Yardua The President Is Not On Seat!so What! by frankkky: 5:20pm On Jan 30, 2010 |
honestly i dont know why in nigeria we like making mountains out of molehills,i have observed with dismay the way the politicans are going about this issue,i even read yesterday that the CDS has ordered restriction of movement in the barracks haba, has it gotten that bad?fine the president is ill as any human being can be,let him be given sick leave thats all afterall the vice president can perform his tasks, haba even CEOS go on break it does not mean that company will go dead, nigeria is still functioning, the state govts are doing their job,so what the hell are vwe talking about?if we are not carefull about this issue it can turn to something else, a lot of polticans may hijack the situation for their own selfish motives.let us not create problems where none exists |

what is happening there is simple economics, for instance imagine for a moments that those african immigrants are wealthy folks living there ,the story would be different, this people feel threatened that these africans are coming to take their jobs, that is why i have all said one sure way of preventing things like these is for the african economy to develop so that its citzens would have no need to travel out to go work slavish jobs,i know that one day the african economy would pick up very well, lets all just belive |

the military has done it again, just read now in a national daily how a retired brigader general ordered his boys to beat up the inlaw to the IG at the abuja airport, according to the report trouble started when the said victim tried to prevent the general from jumping the line to buy a ticket at the arik air counter, the said general olajide got angry and promised to deal with the man on arrival at abuja, according to the report th victim was almost beaten to death. when will our military officers ever start respecting their selves?is beating civilans a major course at NDA?cause i dont understand at all o.anyway the man in question has sued the stupid genralo to court,i just hope the court will do the right thing, enough of this in nigeria,we civilans need to stand up against them cos tommorow it might be you or me 1 Like |

i see some peeps are advising girls to have babies for men so that they can have the men stay, honestly at this age and time am highly amused that a lot of women(especially black women)belive that having a child for a man automatically holds him to you, look let me tell you if u like u have 100 kids for a man who doesnt love you he will still not love you,let s stop bringing iinocent children into the world just hold a mans attention when he doesnt have it for you, love for a woman from a man is not based on children(when are our sisters goint to ever realise this TRUTH) It always sadden me when i see otherwise intelligent women do this, dont ever belive that lie for one day |
Travel / Re: Nigerians Living Illegally In China Are Now Going Through Hell! by frankkky: 10:31am On Dec 14, 2009 |
Honestly speaking without intending to insult anyone most nigerians living in china(i did not say all)are giving nigeria a very bad image, they engaged in crimes some of which the chinese themselves are not used to, you need to vist our embbassy to see the daily reports of crimes commited by nigerians being brought to the embbassy by the chinese police, lets face the truith no sane society will take that,no one should blame the chinese authorites for taking such stand,i have always said this when u are doing the right thing u have nothing to fear from them,i stayed iilegally for sometime in europe befoer i got my papers but i never had any problem with the police cos i stayed off crime.the chinese are not so worried about the illegality but the crimes these guys do |

as someone who has moved around ,i would say the best bet for an illegal immgrant getting papers without marrying is SPAIN,in spain there is always hope for papers though right now they too are experincing the economic downturn but trust me spain is very liberal in their laws though other european countries are now putting pressure on them to toughen their immigration laws, this was a country that gave more than 600,000 iilegal immigrants paper in one swoop in 2005,today many guys who benefited from that are doing well, many were able to visit home and start different business, many have satrted rasing familes even, and in spain they have this unemployment benefits extended now cos of the present economic downturn,do u know in spain there is a law now if u can prove if u have lived in spain for 3 years u can get ur papers(THIS CAN NEVER HAPPEN IN OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES)so guys SPAIN FOR NOW REMAINS THE BEST BET FOR AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT,come here and get ur papers after staying for just 3 years or even less if u are lucky 1 Like |

@tpia my sister u are so right, but what these guys are doing is wickedness ,this has nothing to do with ecomomic status, the morrocans dont mind having them around if only they will not disturb public peace, some of this wicked nigerians are not even interested anymore in crossing over to europe or anything like that, they go into the dersert to trap other nigerians, rob them of their belongings, and even kill in the process and then bury these bodies in the desert these guys are not economic immigrants, these guys are hardnened armed robbers who left nigeria,a morrocan police offical showed me a video tape of how nigerians are killing some ladies in morroco there, infact they (the morrocan seems to have no interest in the matter again cos afterall its themselves they are killing and maiming) lets all rise up to this, all goodhearted nigerians all over the world should speak up against this,it brings tears to my eyes, seeing is beliving ,u need to be there to see what i saw, even as i am typing this piece a nigeria girl is being raped brutally right now,it happens every day |

this is the same reason why Ghadfi of libya started deporting nigerians,he didnt want is happening in morroco to start happening in his own country cos some nigerians had even started forming cults, and its the same group of nigerians who were deported to nigeria started forming kidnapping gangs in nigeria cos thats what they have been used to,i wish the federal govt to do something about this |
Travel / Oh My God!something Urgently Should Be Done About This! by frankkky: 7:29pm On Nov 19, 2009 |
I had the rare privlege of travelling to morroco last week on a sponsored programme,we visted the nigerian embassy over there where i met a nigerian girl who told us the most pathetic story i have ever read, she was at the embassy to seek help cos she wanted to go home,my brothers and sisters this girl was raped not by morrocans but by nigerians living there, according to her these iilegal nigerians living here has formed different cults where nigerians like themselves are maimed, raped and killed over money, a councillor at the embassy broke into tears when she was narrating what the embassy have been going through in order to solve this problem. i and my co travellers decided to pay these areas a visit where these groups of nigerians are living to really see things for ourselves,we recived the shock of our lives,do you know thattribal kingdoms are being formed in morroco,?igbo, edo, esan and yoruba, even the native morrocans there are tired of the bloodshed ,nigerians are killing themselves here, some groups of men have formed wicked cults where innocent nigerians are kidnapped, whipped, tied, spat on and treated like animals all for the sake of obtaining money from them,a morrocan police offical i spoke to explained that the situation was getting out of hand. Since i arrived back to my base i have written so many letters to abuja,we all must do something,we cannot fold our hands and say it does not concern us,if u can start writing letters to the right qtrs pls do,it is really hoorrible over there |

without intending to support the AG for any other actions he has been taking since he assumed office,on this particular faceoff with the met police, the AG is in order, for christ sakes nigeria is not anserwable to the british or to any other nation for that matter,i dont know why we always look down on ourselves andnation,do you know how many times the nigeria govt has asked this same british met police for asstance without any favorable response, when requests are made to them,it takes them sometimes as much as 2 years to even reply cos according to them such request must go through different process, now they ask us for assitance and we want our AG to run and do their biddings, abeg!!!!! |

@vicjustice i must say i always enjoy ur writeups, always so intelligent and informative, keep it up,however having said that i beg to differ on ur views on spain, while not trying to defend nigerians in spain or whatever i must say though a lot of nigerians here are not that educated but quite a lot are educated and doing decent jobs or business here,a lot nigerians here own their own business, run ngos and many other decent things, fact is many people are beginging to take advantage of the educational system here in spain,to say nigerians here are hawking is a very big lie, nigerian here as far as i know them dont indulge in that, they are into factories, campos, construction and so on,some have become musicans even,u need to go to any nigerian party here and see how they are turned out,i think (if u will be honest)u only visited a little part of spain dont forget spain is a very big country, and a lot of first timers confuse senegales for nigerians,u see these group always looking tatt ered at metrols and other such places but not my people nigerians,i just felt i should clearfy this, peace |

Politics / Re: Central Bank Releases Names Of Debtors To Stressed Banks by frankkky: 12:50pm On Aug 20, 2009 |
@illusion2 exactly the point iam trying to make, they were contiditions on these loans for christsake, take me for instance i took a loan here to expand my business base but soon after the recession came in,i began to loose customers who had in return loose their jobs, after a while i couldnt service my loan cos i was about to fold up,then i and the bank worked ou a formula in which i was now paying lower installments on the loan till the situation improves, this is how things are resolved, but in nigeria i dont know it works anymore sha instead of calling these people names have we cared to find out why they are unable to meet up,lets not call them names just because THEY APPEAR TO BE RICH you think billonaires dont go broke too once in a while (wake up peeps)personally i know the stress businessmen face in doing business in nigeria,no facitiltes,no power,no enabling enviroment and so many things |
Politics / Re: Central Bank Releases Names Of Debtors To Stressed Banks by frankkky: 11:57am On Aug 20, 2009 |
before we all jump to conclusions i am sure the banks had their reasons for giving out these loans, these are proffesionals lets not forget, right now the world is in the middle of a great recession so things like this are bound to happen, even in the advanced world, bad bank debts are all over the place, just as the western world has learned lack of proper conttrol over the banks can lead to things like this, having said the way out of this is to call the debtors and find out how they intend paying back these loans, use all legal means for those who are not willing to payback, instead of publishing names which may yeild nothing at the end of the day,and dont forget inability to payback a bank loan is not a criminal offence but a civil one(at least in the western world where i live) |

@mike oscar, why leave a bright career in the military as a regular combantant,u might have become a general tommorow who knows(but then u have a right to choose whatever u want)bact to the post, these ssc officers knew what they were getting into when they signed,so waz all da fuss about? i mean how can someone accept to to spend 4 to 5years on a rank(GOD FORBID)SOME OFFICERS EVEN SPEND MORE THAN THOSE YEARS ON A RANK,HABA!.,B4 U KNOW IT AGE WILL CATCH UP WITH THEM SHORT SERVICE THAT IS WHAT IT IS,SHORT SERVICE |

this is so sad,but i am sure those officers knew what they were getting into when they joined the military as short service commission so no sentiments i beg,i now understand that the regulars in the military are the real deal in the military cos they spent 5 years in the NDA,so anybody who joins from the backyard should expect things like these o |
