Politics / Re: Should A Pastor (tunde Bakare) Join To Carry Placards? by frenchman(m): 1:40pm On Jan 16, 2010
I am not a xtian, but the action of Tunde Bakare has endeared me to the xtian faith. If there are many of his likes in xtianity and islam, our country will be a lot better for it.
Our so called men of God will prefer to wine and dine with the politicians as long as they stand to benefit from waivers and contracts from government. We know how many pastors were rushing to Aso Rock then to pray for OBJ, if yaradua were a xtian, you would have seen them praying and fasting for his speedy recovery. The other joker pastor that wanted to contest the Presidency, the other time, where does he stand on this or he is no longer in Nigeria?
Pastor Tunde Bakare, I salute your courage to stand up against corruption and tyranny, may the Lord continue to strengthen you.
Sports / Re: When Will Our Eagles Be Super Again! by frenchman(m): 5:12pm On Jan 14, 2010
The problem is not about a particular tribe, all the tribes in Nigeria contributed to the rot.
Is OBJ not a yoruba man?
Sports / Re: When Will Our Eagles Be Super Again! by frenchman(m): 9:18pm On Jan 13, 2010
Your points are really valid, and i cannot agree with you more.
The football/sports situation is a subset of the Nigerian situation. A failed state at her best can only produce failed teams.
Sports / When Will Our Eagles Be Super Again! by frenchman(m): 8:48pm On Jan 13, 2010
Gone are the days when our national team used to create fear in the minds of our opponent, even before we meet them.
The days of Rashidi Yekini, Daniel Amokachi, Jajay Okocha, and all, infact the 1994 squad. Can we say that Nigeria is no longer producing these stars? or are we not in the same country that produced these great footballers.
Now we are struggling, when teams like Ghana and Ivory Coast that used to see us as football giant have secured their own qualification to SA, we were praying for Tunisia to lose for us to qualify.
Can someone tell me when are we going to be SUPER again?
Politics / Re: *****Who is this Alao-akala dude?: Could someone please enlighten me more?***** by frenchman(m): 4:50pm On Dec 22, 2009
Akala is the biggest disaster that has ever happened to the people of oyo state.
He is our 911. Posterity will never forgive adedibu for imposing a vagabond on us.
Politics / Re: Who Wins The Worst Governor Of The Year Awaed? by frenchman(m): 3:40pm On Dec 16, 2009
I think Alao-Akala is the best Worst-Performing-Governor.
He is miles ahead of his other contemporaries. He surely deserves the award without contention.
In fact we should sew Aso-ebi to celebrate this award.

Which bank is that? from the findings I have done the SAVINGs interest rate is even poorer.
The 3% is most probably annual and not per month.

Business / Re: The Richest Men In Africa? by frenchman(m): 2:53pm On Dec 14, 2009
ADENUGA is richer than the two lot, but he is not a noise maker like them.
Let them subtract what they are owing the banks from their assets/wealth and tell FORBES how much they are really worth.

It is quite obvious now that SLS has an hidden northen script he is playing out.
How on earth will he in his wisdom spare the management of Unity Bank while others will be given the boot.
The drama is beginning to unfold.

Sports / Re: Appreciating Mike Adenuga For Supporting Nigerian Football by frenchman(m): 8:58pm On Sep 04, 2009
One should not be surprised about how some Nigerians react to this thread. We are not good at appreciating and celebrating our achievers. We younger generations need role models to look up to, and Mike Adenuga is a good role model. In terms of his business acumen, fighting spirit and strong believe in Nigeria. Many Nigerians benefited from IBBs regime, but how many has been able to achieve what Mike Adenuga has achieved.
I salute you Dr Mike Adenuga.
Sports / Re: Appreciating Mike Adenuga For Supporting Nigerian Football by frenchman(m): 12:33pm On Sep 02, 2009
Adenuga was a beneficiary of IBB's regime just like Dangote was a beneficiary though in a crooked way of OBJ's regime.
Do we then portend that Dangote is OBJ's front?
Sports / Re: Appreciating Mike Adenuga For Supporting Nigerian Football by frenchman(m): 12:30pm On Sep 02, 2009
I have never read or heard where Mike Adenuga has been indicted for being a conduit for IBB's magomago.
Please lets get our facts right not all rich men are crooks.

Politics / Re: AIT Television On The Brink Of Crumbling by frenchman(m): 4:38pm On Aug 01, 2009
Sahara reporters has been a reliable source of information, and I will not doubt the authenticity of the report.
To buttress the point, AIT Movistar has been delisted from SKY TV, this is a pointer that the story may be true.

Politics / Is Rilwan Lukman The Most Qualified Person On Petroleum Matters In Nigeria? by frenchman(m): 9:06am On Jul 31, 2009
It baffles me to no end, why a country as blessed in terms of human resources as Nigeria will continue to recycle one person over and over again.
Alhaji Rilwan Lukman has a postgraduate degree in Mineral Economics from McGill University in Canada. He has held several positions in the oil industry including the chairman of OPEC. This is a good credential, no doubt about that, but cant we have young, vibrant and articulate Nigerians who can also do this job. Alhaji has always been in Government since time immemorial, whether as an adviser or a minister.

The current heat generated by Alhaji's goof in demoting PTI to a college goes to show that he is out of touch with current happenings in the country. As if that was not enough, the new university will be sighted not only in the North, but in Alhaji's hometown of Kaduna.
