Stepfather brutalize a seven-year-old boy for eating part of the food meant for dinner.


The man left stepson with multiple injuries after he gruesomely maltreated him for eating part of dinner in the afternoon.


Shocking photos shared online shows the boy with a swollen face and wounds all over his body.


However it is unclear where it happens but the National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria is following up on the case.

The US president Donald Trump says he will ban the popular video app over security concerns.

Trump to ban Tiktok which has raised concerns about the censorship of videos.

This include those critical of the Chinese government, and the potential for sharing user data with Chinese officials.

The US president said he might implement a ban today, Saturday, 1 August, 2020.

He said on Friday that he could use emergency economic powers or an executive order to enforce the action.

Trump insisted:
I HAVE THAT AUTHORITY.

IT’S GOING TO BE SIGNED TOMORROW.

Trump’s action comes after India‘s government banned a series of apps, including Tiktok.

India place a ban on the video app amid claims that some of them are using data illegally.

India also claim the app is secretly collecting information from people’s phones.

The Federal government has saved $400 million through fuel subsidy removal from the 2020 budget.

The Group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, reveal this in an interview.

He said it is unlikely that fuel subsidy will return despite the rising crude oil prices.

He said:

MY PERSONAL VIEW IS THAT SUBSIDY SHOULD BE REMOVED, AND THE FUNDS DEPLOYED TO AREAS OF THE ECONOMY PARTICULARLY ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE AND EDUCATION THAT NEED FUNDS.

FUEL SUBSIDY IS A MISALLOCATION OF RESOURCES AND IT BENEFITS MAINLY PEOPLE WHO DON’T NEED IT; THE RICH.

WHAT WE NEED IS AN INVESTMENT THAT UPGRADES THE GENERAL GOOD OF THE SOCIETY AND PROVIDES ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITY FOR SOCIAL MOBILITY FOR THE POOR.

I DO NOT FORESEE THE RETURN OF SUBSIDY WHEN OIL PRICE REBOUNDS.

JUST BY REMOVING SUBSIDY IN THE 2020 BUDGET, THE NATION IS ABLE TO SAVE OVER $400MILLION.

Hours of heavy downpour in Abuja led to flooding in several parts of the Federal Capital Territory.

At the end of the downpour which lasted for between six to eight hours, five residents had been swept away.

Several houses and cars destroyed while six rescued people are currently hospitalized.

Of the five swept away, one of the bodies has been recovered while four are still missing as of press time.

Boko Haram have executed five aid workers in a footage recorded murder made public on Wednesday.

the humanitarian workers were kidnapped on June 29 while travelling between Maiduguri and Monguno in Borno State.

The terrorists confirmed that their victims were humanitarian staff of non-governmental organisations.

Five men, with their faces covered, stood behind the abductees and shot them after making comments.

In the 35 seconds video, one of the insurgents, who spoke in Hausa language said the five humanitarian workers were executed for working with the “infidels and their organisations”.

Speaking in a message, one of the terrorists said:

THIS IS A STRONG MESSAGE TO THOSE WHO ARE BEING USED BY UNBELIEVERS TO CONVERT PEOPLE TO INFIDELS.

Shortly after, the video showed five armed men pointing AK47 rifles at the five workers kneeling with their faces blindfolded.

Police arrests 10 girls and 15 boys for allegedly shooting pornographic videos in Kenya’s Kakamega County.

The suspects who are all teenagers were in Form Two and Three, and between the ages of 13 and 17.

Among the arrested suspects is the alleged mastermind identified simply as Caleb.

An eyewitness who is garbage collector, said he was attracted to the scene after he saw a polythene bag full of condoms.

After a closer inspection, he saw the teenagers having sex and another person recording, he then notified the police immediately.

He said:

I WAS DOING MY GARBAGE COLLECTING BUSINESS, WHICH IS WHEN I NOTICED SOMETHING STRANGE.
