^^^b Dude, this is a Yoruba forum, not your father's backyard. It is not your place to tell people where and where not to post. Why do you guys get flustered when hit with the truth? Is the truth too much for you to take? Did OBJ not beat Ojuiku in the polling booth in front of Ojuiku's house? I mean, even Ojuiku's wife and relatives voted for OBJ? These are facts that are out there? Ojuiku is a useless, rudderless coward who couldnt command/lead a snail in the SW or any other part of the world besides Alaigbo. Open your eyes, Ojuiku is a person! |

Mr Everest: that means you know very little about what happened during the PDP primaries in Jos in 1999, IBB and Abdusalami manipulated the process to make sure that Obj emerged in order to pacify the Yorubas same as AD. Dont take things on their face value, i believe you are an adult. I wont call you a Yoruba man so try and write Igbo properly. Dude, that primary was Ekwueme's for the taking. All he had to do was play ball and show up on election day . . . he dropped the ball, BIG TIME. OBJ snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, literally. Also, OBJ was not the only one interested at that point. There was Atiku, Rimi, Ekwueme and OBJ. And OBJ, underrated as he were, out maneuvered them all. The victory was all the more impressive not because he defeated Ekwueme, really. What made it awesome was the way he out maneuvered Rimi and played Atiku. It was vintage OBJ. Cool, calm and determined. This is someone who just a couple of months prior was in prison. he wasnt even there when PDP was formed and he wasnt part of the founding fathers. That is SWAG, Yoruba styleee. If they wanted to pacify the Yorubas as you claimed, OBJ wasnt the person to give it to. OBJ already insulted the Yorubas in 1978 and everyone knew the Yorubas werent gonna vote for him.It was no surprise when he decisively lost his home region, the Southwest, to Olu Falae in the general election. Lets get the analysis straight. OBJ earned his mandate through hard-work and street smartness. He defeated everyone around including the wildly respected Ekwueme fair and square. This is important because you guys like to rewrite history. Please stick with proven facts, dont invent yours. 6 Likes |

~Bluetooth: 1.) Dude you went to FUTA . . . How many successful people go/went to FUTA? Zilch. You are just another one of the many losers from the FUTA warehouse 2.) You cant even write well? Dude, what else do we need to know you are big time failure? 3.) And you seem to always try to validate yourself via other people's achievements, especially people far remote from you. That doesnt necessarily scream success or does it? You are failure. You will always be, Deal with it FUTA boy! 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Asiwaju9ja: Dude, Bola Ige was in charge of NEPA, did it work? They brought in a robotics man from Pitt, still the thing no work? SO what gives? Not cramming and reciting the Quaran from sura baqqra to d end on a daily basis that is intellectual. Dude, all forms of education and specialty involve some form of rote learning. In fact, it is safe to say all learning start with rote memorization. So these kids cramming the Quran, as you stated, is not an anomaly, it is just a requirement; a rite of passage sort of. And in Nigeria where even in our best universities people still learn obsolete stuff in this modern age and are tested on their recall ability, sans analytical skills , trust me, these kids arent that far off from the rest of the populace. They are simply doing what the rest of the population is doing in a less formal environment. 1 Like |

Asiwaju9ja: Dude, learning is mostly absorbing information. Nothing more, nothing less. Whether it is Arabic or Medicine or Engineering what is most important is the dedication and passion you bring to bear. Studying Arabic or English in depth doesnt make you less intelligent than those studying hard core maths and science. Anyway, I dont expect you to understand, I doubt you know what real education is all about. The point here is that only a fool will knock what they dont fully understand. Because a huge percentage of the stuff that you tend to be automatically certain of is, it turns out, totally wrong and deluded. I have learned this the hard way. Arabic language, and religious education in general, is just as rigorous as any formal education in any discipline. |

browncool: Will these set of people ever grow in their lives? I think the Imans should start teaching these people that knowledge is power and the sooner they start going to school, the fewer we will be hearing of these crap They are in school learning the Arabic language. Can you read Arabic? Most of them are probably more knowledgeable than your stupiddd self. |
