Haba i just had to respond to this, U stay in obajana and u dont know that just in front of obajana cement plc, there are 9 different banks in full operation, Access Bank included.

Hey people, the info is more specific now. People with experience in the banking sector in fact if u'r currently working in a bank u stand d greatest chance of being shortlisted.

Oh peeps one more thing, it will be an advantage if you have some sort of marketing or sales background. i.e previous work experience in a bank, insurance company etc,

My boss is interested in recruiting graduates to work in our MARKETING dept. Oops i forgot to mention i work with ACCESS BANK PLC, OBAJANA, KOGI.
He thought out loud dis mornin wonderin where he would get c.v's from. Now if u know anything about Obajana, ihts d location of Obajana Cement PLC, owned by Aliku Dangote. This cement factory is currently the biggest in West Africa.
Obajana is 25 mins drive from Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State and i do not mince words when i say its a hot city.
Anyways i told my boss i might be able to do something bout his predicament so,

- graduate of the social sciences or Arts or Humanities with minimum of second class lower 2:2
- ability to sell/market the corporate entity you represent

Dont worry bout remuneration just yet cos i'm a corper batch A, resumed april and i get paid 30k. Now dats the second highest any bank is paying youth corpers so do the math.

Hi nlanders, have a similar story wit that of Ugo who posted earlier. I did 2 aptitude tests in late february for ACCESS BANK'S youth corper recruitment scheme and did my interview the day camp opened for BATCH A 2007. Was posted to Kogi State.
Of  course i didnt get posted to camp directly from camp , i actually got posted to NTA , Lokoja btu i got them to reject me and then Z.I simply asked me to find somewhere and i told him Access Bank and viola! i got reposted to Access Bank Plc, Obajana.
They are so organised n have been keepin us updated wit text messages. News is there is an Induction coming up for all corpers they took soon, the induction shouls have come earlier because we were instryucted to resume 16th which i did but the delay was due to the fact that they were still conducting tests for Batch A corpers alll d while even after camp closed on the 27th of march. in fact they just rounded up this wk i guess.
They rank amongst the higghest paying for corpers wit the likes oc IBTC n Intercontinental. Zenith and PHB pay 25k.
