Romance / Re: Guys like girls with skimpy dresses and tight trousers, but they won't marry them by Gemini25(m): 6:07pm On Jan 29, 2008
theboy0808:

Right On!

Very apt quote, i must confess they are good to look at especially the low rise jeans, boob top, cleaveage enhancing tops etc, But when it comes to the issue of who you are to marry, no man wants his future wife displaying all her goods for all to see.

My Fiance used to dress in some revealing clothes, but when i came to the scene we agreed that those dresses will only be worn when i am with her and when we are going to some certain place for certain events.

I believe so much in the saying that "dress the way you want to be addresses".
Romance / Re: Virginity Is Not Dignity,it Is Just Lack Of Opportunity by Gemini25(m): 5:59pm On Jan 29, 2008
@ Poster,

If you want to base your argument on that premise, then it would be safe to say that Murder is not a crime, it's just lack of opportunity or other vices (not that virginity is a vice) are not crimes too, they just stem from a lack of opportunity.

My take is this, i am glad you told us how you got deflowered and i think that if our society had a sense of semblance, that Calabar girl should have or be serving time for Statutory rape. That experience is what is making you post this topic on nairaland.

I have met some Ladies that have had all the opportunities in the world to have sex and have withstood the temptation and are still pure as we speak. Your assumption is not true in all cases, as kids we all are inquisitive, but with the right guidance one can avoid having sex before marriage.

As for me ooo, it's her body physique that drives me wild, not too thin as a Lepa and not too fat for Orobo, She fits into my side very nicely.

Also she has the kindest heart, and i melt when she looks at my eyes with Love written on her face, kia, na whaooooo

Romance / Re: I'm About To End My Relationship Because It Is "Too Perfect" by Gemini25(m): 11:20pm On Jan 23, 2008
No Human being is perfect and although your girl might look like that now, i think there's more than meets the eye.

I think you have not touched her raw spot yet and it's better you know what makes her happy, sad, angry etc, before you go ahead with the relationship.

I suggest you have a heart-to-heart conversation with her and express your feelings. Tell her how your "perfect" relationship makes you feel.
The whole gist is issue is not whether you fight a lot or don't at all, it's just knowing her, what makes her tick and all that matters,

It's no guarantee that couples whom fight a lot b4 they get married make better homes or vice versa. I have had a few arguments with my woman, but we quarrel less these days, cos we now know what boundaries to step.

I wish you well.

Travel / Re: Passengers Exchange Blows In Moving Airplane by Gemini25(m): 9:06pm On Jan 23, 2008
The thing about Nigerians is  that when the dude that was on the phone gets to a foreign land, he suddenly becomes well mannered and well behaved.

I have seen many instances of where Nigerians on getting to a foreign place outside the shores of the country will suddenly queue up, be orderly and take turns to do things in a civilsed manner

I am pretty sure that the fool that was talking on the phone would have obeyed the Stewardess if she were white or spoke with a foreign accent. If all our danfo drivers were to be brought to US to drive they would return back to Nigeria changed people,
There's something about the Nigerian when he is at home that  just makes it impossible for him to obey the Law.

The other passenger shouldn't have gotten into a fight with the guy, two wrongs don't make a right, God help Nigeria
Romance / Re: What's The Big Deal About Kissing? by Gemini25(m): 3:22pm On Jan 23, 2008

Romance / Re: Men: Simple Approachable Lady or a Hard-to-Get? by Gemini25(m): 5:53pm On Jan 22, 2008
The Concept of Approachable or Hard to get we might be mixing up here

A Lady could be " Approachable" in the sense that she is friendly and sociable, but when it comes to dating and relationship she might be the hardest nut to crack.

My take is that Ladies whom want to attract the best guys should be presentable, lively, fun and socially intelligent. However she should set her standards for the kind of guy she wants and when the right guy comes along she would spot him in a crowd of admirers.

For me i like a lady that's confident, well mannered and good looking, her being approachable or hard to get is a different cup of tea.
Romance / Re: I'm 27, She's 16: Should I Disvirgin Her? by Gemini25(m): 5:42pm On Jan 22, 2008

Romance / Re: What's The Big Deal About Kissing? by Gemini25(m): 5:40pm On Jan 22, 2008
There is a BIG BIG deal about kissing oooo!!!!!

I would not Kiss any lady except i am attracted to her and i can say this for most guys,

Kissing is an art (LOL), it takes gifted people to do it without failing and i must say that i have had my fair share of good and bad kisses, but really the fact that you put your mouth, lips, tongue into another persons' means you trust this person and you like him/her enough.
If i might add that Commercial sex workers don't allow you to kiss them ( i think, i have not visited any b4 oo!!!), that shows you how important kissing is to a relationship.

I kiss my Fiancee very well and she is the best kisser i have come across, although i remember one babe like that, meehhhnnn she sabi kiss,
Let me stop here before i change the topic
Romance / Re: What Do You Enjoy Most About Being Single? by Gemini25(m): 5:08pm On Jan 22, 2008
Being Single gives you the chance to reflect on whom you really are, where you are going and what you want to do with your life,

I dare say that the "Coupled" ones do not have that much time to do all that once they are hooked up, cos you worry about your relationship, you try to keep the flame burning and blah blah,

I would say that you discover whom you are before getting attached to someone that way you can stay true to who you really are when the right one comes along. grin
Romance / Re: Are Nigerian Guys Romantic by Gemini25(m): 11:16pm On Jan 18, 2008
Hi Nairalanders,

Nigerian guys are romantic and i think you just have to bring out the best in him.

I do agree that some of us are somewhat crude and uncouth, but i believe and know that when a man is in love truly, he becomes more romantic
