Investment / Re: Help, Want To Unlock My Piggyvest Safelock by GeorgesDiary(m): 4:23pm On Jun 13, 2022
No, my details won't be compromised. He'll only have access to the piggyvest account... The only thing I have there is the savings. It has no connection to my personal account or other stuff.

flames007:
Op and the person bargaining price are just not serious. There's no way you can 'sell' it without compromising all your details so how exactly do you want to give anyone - you don't trust - access to your account.

To the guy looking for awoof, what if Op was a scammer? Did you even think about that?

Don't bother yourself then. I'd rather leave it there. That was my hard earned money just that I had an emergency.

I have a piggyvest account and I have saved up to ₦700,000. The intention was to save 500,000 in one year. The duration of safelock expires on January and I am wondering if it's possible to sell it to someone else at a discount or if I can unlock it by any means because I have an emergency I need to attend to.

Politics / Why I Think Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Should Be Released by GeorgesDiary(m): 10:43pm On May 05, 2022
Does Nnamdi Kanu deserve to be released?

First, let me reiterate what I said earlier. The rising case of unrest in the South East is a consequence of IPOB/ESN activities. The day prisons were broken and armed robbers, stiffened criminals as well as political enemies were set free, that day became a turning point for the South East particularly Anambra State and Imo State where most of these prison breaks took place.

They didn't just break into prisons, they also killed several policemen and carted away with numerous weapons. They were hailed by the IPOB leader as saints and saviours. These same people metamorphosed into what we know today as Unknown Gun Men because they choose to make their identities unknown but we know that it is not unconnected to the violent post-EndSARS activities.

I have always maintained that IPOB may not have meant it to be what it is today but their strategy gave birth to whatever we have today and they must admit this if they want to regain the trust of people. It has gone beyond the control of IPOB with different factions of IPOB trying to portray themselves as the legitimate champions of the Biafran project.

We see this play out with the fall out of Emma Powerful's faction of IPOB and Simon Ekpa's autopilot. There have been accusations and counteraccusations between the two sects on the origin of the violence in the South East. One faction also claims they have no business with the Monday sit-at-home and the other faction has insisted that the sit at home has come to stay.

The turmoil is ever-growing and whoever the unknown gunmen are, they are not DSS or Fulani Bandits as claimed by some IPOB propaganda media.

...........

A lot of people believe that the "kidnap" of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government of Nigeria caused the unrest but we need to recall that the activities of Unknown Gunmen were on the rise before MNK's second arrest. I followed his broadcasts.

On the side of the Federal Government of Nigeria, they dealt so carelessly with the issues of MNK and Biafra agitation. First, before MNK's escape, he was almost extra judiciary killed in a raid. This raid cost him the life of his dear ones including members of his family which brought about the need to escape Nigeria in what FG considered a mystery.

It was obvious that MNK's life was being sought after. The Court has ruled in favour of MNK as regards this and has demanded that the FG pay damages to MNK.

MNK had enough reasons to escape for his life but since they found a way to bring him back to Nigeria to face justice for the charges laid against him, some things need to be considered.

Boko Haram terrorists have bombed, killed, kidnapped, raped and displaced millions of Northerners who are now concentrated in IDP camps. Yet, some of these terrorists who were arrested have been released, rehabilitated and reinstated into the society with financing and other benefits.

Some Northerners argue that if such could be done for Niger Delta militants, why not Boko Haram? First of all, comparing Boko Haram and Niger Delta militants shows that many Northerners do not understand what these militants stood for. It's either they are naive or they were poorly acquainted. But let's not talk about that for now.

There are also cases of the Federal Government releasing some terrorists either with a Presidential pardon or in exchange for some kidnapped Nigerians.

Now, the big question is... What has Nnamdi Kanu done differently that President Buhari cannot extend this favour? Why have the President refused to have a conversation with Nnamdi Kanu, maybe, through his men?

While we are shouting on top of our voices and registering our stand against the rising violence in South East, we also know that although many have lost their lives and means of livelihood, there are many viable options to seeking peace and unity which includes a political solution.

The Federal Government has no excuse why they are still keeping Nnamdi Kanu hostage when there are better options that can be explored. It has been established that Nnamdi Kanu escaped Nigeria because his life was at risk. His bail conditions then which were met should still apply.

The Federal Government should organise a closed-door meeting with Igbo elites, Governors, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Representatives of IPOB and other pro-Biafra groups and have a thought-provoking conversation with them. The Federal Government must use this to prove that indeed they have the interest of South East and Igbos at heart and they should give a listening ear, and act on the constitutionally-right recommendations.

When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released, let him be allowed to prove to Nigerians whether IPOB is a terrorist group or not. He should go and put his house in order and if they fail to listen to him, he can wash his hands off.

You never can tell, the future cannot be predicted. MNK may eventually become resourceful in nation-building. Let us not forget that the once Biafran War Lord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, who led the Old Eastern region to war that cost us millions of lives and billions of dollars, caused our psychological problems and lack of trust in the Nigerian project, turned back from his Biafran dreams and became a Nigerian politician who birthed APGA, a party that set Anambra free from Godfather politics.

So yes, while we say enough is enough to the killings in South East, while we call on IPOB/ESN and their sister groups to rise and actively disassociate themselves from the rising violence in South East, we also call on the Federal Government, to not only release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but to set the environment right for sincere healing and reconciliation.

The question is, is President Buhari human enough?

My name is Onyedikachukwu George Nnadozie and I stand for the truth even if it means standing alone.

Politics / Reno Is Just A Clout Chaser On The Issue Of Ukraine & Russia by GeorgesDiary(m): 5:05pm On Mar 16, 2022
This is not the typical kind of piece that grace my blog but for posterity, I want it to be clear that evil is evil, no matter who is supporting it. My non-Nigerian readers may not be very conversant with the flow of this writing because I may be citing events or names you may not be familiar with. But of course, you must have come across Biafra, but perhaps, not Mr Reno Omokri, a former aide to the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan whose presidency was short-lived by Muhamadu Buhari's emergence as Nigeria's president.

Reno Omokri claims that during the Nigerian Civil war, no one prayed for Biafra and as a result, he is oppugning the relevance of Nigerians praying for Ukraine. He also disparaged the Federal Government for standing with the West and Ukraine in condemning Russia's full-scale invasion of a sovereign independent nation.

One would expect someone as exposed and educated as Reno (as he claims) to know, do and say better about the current situation in Ukraine. He strides himself like a fountain of knowledge. He is living the life, that’s cool but he is also living the lie, that’s strange.

Reno’s method is simple but it works all the time. As long as he tickles the chord of some section of Nigerians where it pleases them, they will hail him, call him wiser than Solomon and share his post. Why am I concerned? I am only concerned about the misinformation that flies around as a result.

Reno understands the gullibility of Nigerians who mostly do not read but lean on what is convenient. So everything he says will go well as long as his premeditated propaganda to draw traffic to himself and his YouTube channel is masked with eloquence and some touch of authority. This is why Reno can authoritatively claim to know the history of every ethnic group in Nigeria more than the people themselves and the ignorant ones agree.

Agreed, the Nigerian Civil war was fierce, brutal and had much more casualties. No one would expect the Russia-Ukraine war to last 3 years as the Biafra war did but there is legitimate global interest. Ukraine is a sovereign independent country that has the right to determine its future and its alliance. One may argue that it is like Biafra, a secessionist but While Nigeria didn’t recognize Biafra’s independence, Russia recognized Ukraine’s independence in 1991.

Does he mean that France, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Rhodesia, South Africa and Vatican City were nobody? They provided support and assistance to Biafra and that was huge for a secessionist nation that wasn't being supported by the superpowers. Nigeria too had her own support which I wouldn't want to list out.

Does he also mean that Gabon, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Zambia that gave Biafra official recognition are nobody? Biafra also received aid and support from non-state actors like Joint Church Aid, foreign mercenaries, Holy Ghost Fathers of Ireland, and under their direction Caritas International, and U.S. Catholic Relief Services. Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors withut borders) also originated in response to the suffering.

I am not sure you read that well. Doctors Without Borders was formed as a result of the Biafran War and has continued to operate to this day. And after all of these sacrifices by people especially in the Western world, Mr Reno would boldly assert that people did nothing about the Biafran war.

Is Bruce Mayrock a nobody? The young student of Colombia University set himself ablaze in protest against Nigeria for the massacre of Biafrans and he died afterwards. Reno knows all of this but chose to turn history upside down.

Ukraine has more “legitimacy” as a sovereign nation than Biafra. This is never in any way to undermine the Biafran struggle and what people went through during the war.

After the collapse of the USSR, Ukraine was among several other countries that chose to be independent. Ukraine inherited thousands of nuclear weapons from the former Soviet Union but destroyed its nuclear weapons after Russia agreed that they weren’t going to interfere or invade Ukraine. Russia guaranteed Ukraine of its safety.

You folks claim to know what you are talking about but have you heard of the Budapest Memorandum? On December 5, 1994, the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Britain and the United States signed a memorandum to provide Ukraine with security assurances in connection with its accession to the NPT as a non-nuclear weapon state. Go online and read about this yourself. Ukraine is not a troublesome state even though it was the second most powerful country in the Soviet Union and the sole reason why there is no hope for the formation of the USSR after the majority of them opted for independence.

Let’s dwell on the Budapest Memorandum a bit longer. It contains the following:

The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine.

Russia failed in its commitment here, they betrayed Ukraine after getting Ukraine to destroy its thousands of nuclear warheads. Was Russia respecting the independence, sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine? The answer is NO! And people pretend like this is not happening? And people like Reno, Jihadists, IPOB terrorists and other pathetic adherents of Russian propaganda believes nothing is wrong with Russia’s failure to keep up with its promise?

Let’s see the second one

The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.

Will Russia say it was defending itself when it annexed Crimea? By annexing Crimea, they already breached the first agreement. Russia is the one invading Ukraine. They may claim they are defending themselves against NATO. How? Why not fight NATO and leave Ukraine alone. Of course, NATO has shown no aggression towards Russia. Do you see why Russia is deserving of all the sanctions and more?

For more on the Budapest Memorandum, read on Memorandum on Security Assurances in Connection with Ukraine’s Accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

After Russia got Ukraine to destroy its nuclear weapons out of trust and yet invaded it, how do you expect Ukraine not to seek NATO membership? How else do you want Ukraine to protect its sovereignty against an overrated superpower cum bully like Russia? Unfortunately, the same evil we applaud Russia for is the same evil we fight against coming towards us.

I don’t believe in Karma, yet, I believe that posterity will not be kind to those who are evil and those who support evil no matter who is involved in that evil.

My name is George Onyedikachukwu Nnadozie, I stand for peace and I stand with Ukraine as they pass through this heavy phase where there strength and unity is put to a great test.

Properties / What Do You Think About Wooden Houses In Nigeria? by GeorgesDiary(m): 1:59pm On Nov 29, 2021
I am still very much endeared to wooden houses because it is actually healthier, durable and easy to maintain or rebuild. It is also not as expensive as houses made with concrete.

There are reasons some people do not encourage wooden houses but I think these reasons are valid however they have solutions. When I start building, my first house... as in, my own house has to be made of woods and I am keeping a collection of wonderful wooden houses that I may end up adapting to.

What do you think about these pictures? Are you a bit convinced?

Any architect and building contractor who can't work on something like this?

Culture / One Of The Greatest Injustice In Nigeria Happened In Lagos! by GeorgesDiary(m): 12:10pm On Nov 23, 2021
One of the greatest injustices done to humanity in Nigeria before 2020 began in 1948 in the same Lagos.

A larger part of what we know today as Victoria Island was originally a part of the jurisdiction of the Oniru Chieftaincy family. The Lagos Executive Development Board would later pay 400,000 pounds as compensation to resettle the inhabitants at Maroko Village.

In 1990, 300,000 legal residents of Maroko Town were forcefully evicted by the military Governor of Lagos State, Raji Rasaki. This eviction did not only cause loss of homes it also resulted in numerous severe injuries.

Maroko Town was called Victoria Island Annex, it was cleared and sold to residential buyers. It was expanded and connected to Lekki Peninsula and the new enlarged area was called "Oniru Estate" after the ruling family of the area.

This is one of the largest forced evictions in Nigeria history without any compensation.

Many years later, several Nigerian Youths would be shot by the Nigerian Army and Police at Lekki Toll Gate, three minutes drive from where more than 300,000 people were forcefully evicted and made homeless without compensation by the military led by Raji Rasaki.

Business / How Bill Gate Saved Apple Computer. by GeorgesDiary(m): 11:04am On Nov 23, 2021
By George Onyedikachukwu Nnadozie

"Sometimes, competition isn't always the way to win."

Microsoft and Apple were rivals, competing fiercely to be in control of the PC market. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple and Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft were both friends, bitter rivals and cautious allies at the same time. Both have openly mocked and criticized themselves with lots of lawsuits filed against each other's business organization.

In 1997, Apple was going bankrupt and this was going to be a huge win for Microsoft if that ever happened. Guess what? Bill Gate came to the rescue! He injected US$150 million investment in Apple. This investment was a shock as people expected Bill Gate to take advantage of what was going to be the failure of Apple. Bill Gate also gave Apple an assurance that Microsoft will support Office for Mac for five years.

Times Magazine featured Steve Jobs' appreciation to Bill Gate for saving Apple.

In a presentation, Jobs told his audience "We have to let go of a few notions here. We have to let go of the notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft needs to lose."

Meanwhile, before this cash injection, Microsoft was faced with antitrust fights that was affecting it's perception. This was largely as a result of it's promotion of IE (Internet Explorer) over Netscape and the bundling of same as default browsers in their PCs.

After salvaging Apple, they were able to change the narrative and appear more like a fair player and healthy competitor. Apple also dropped it's lawsuit against Microsoft and gave Bill Gates non-voting shares of apple.

Several years later, Bill Gate sold his shares in Apple which had exceed US$2 billion dollars from US$150 million. Bill Gate proved that you can be a fierce competitor and still be a kind man. When Steve Jobs died, Bill Gate said in a tribute,

"Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors, and friends over the course of more than half our lives,"

Today, the competition has taken other shapes. While they still compete fiercely against each other, Both Microsoft and Apple have other competitors to worry about with Apple leading in terms of market capitalization which is currently US$2.48 trillion while Microsoft is $2.435 trillion.

Business / Is The Era Of Freezing Accounts Because Of Endsars & Crypto Over? by GeorgesDiary(m): 11:52am On Nov 13, 2021
On the 5th of October, 2020, a video of an agent of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad abusing a civilian went viral and sparked a solidarity movement and protest which is now known as the EndSars protest.

Things began to go out of hand with claims and counterclaims of state-sponsored hoodlums hired to disrupt the protesters. On October 20, the Nigerian Army stormed Lekki Toll Gate which served as the epic centre of the protest. Amnesty International reported that the Nigerian Army murdered at least ten people when they opened fire.

The proceeding events around the protest and the aftermath had caused the Federal Government to take several decisions through its various agencies which partly contributed to the banning of Twitter in Nigeria, banning of cryptocurrency and also freezing accounts of individuals and organisations because of its involvement in the EndSars protest.

Gatefield Nigeria Ltd is one of the affected businesses whose account was frozen by Access Bank following a directive of CBN. However, Gatefield took the matter to a Nigerian court sitting in Abuja.

The Nigerian court ruled that blocking bank accounts without a court order is unlawful. Damage of 2,000,000 Naira has been awarded to the firm even though they demanded damage of 10,000,000 Naira.

The question now is, will the court order be obeyed in a country where the Federal Government has been known to disobey court order on many occasions?

In another judgement, the Nigerian court also ruled that is unlawful to freeze accounts of cryptocurrency traders since no bill that made cryptocurrency illegal was passed into law.

In a ruling, High Court Judge, Taiwo Taiwo, said that CBN's order only relied on a circular spread to banks which has no support in the law. In his judgement, Taiwo said "The interim order freezing the accounts of the (companies) is hereby vacated," he also asked the banks to immediately grant the organisations involved "unfettered access" to the accounts.

The affected organisations are, Bamboo Systems Technology and a related company, Rise Vest Technologies, Chaka Technology, Trove Technologies and CTL/Business Expenses.

What this means is that more individuals may seek justice in court for the unlawful freezing of their account as indicated in the recent judgements.

Crime / Is UBA Aware That Someone Has Access To Customers Information? by GeorgesDiary(m): 7:01pm On Nov 11, 2021
THE MAN FROM UBA

It's been a very busy week here in Lagos as the International Trade Fair begins to gear towards the end.

Some years ago, I was at United Bank for Africa to open an account. That was going to be my second bank account and to my disappointment, they told me I will need at least NGN25,000 before I can open an account and that the least I can have in the account is NGN25,000. I left and would later have a Diamond Bank marketer open an account for me with Zero Balance.

Fast forward to November 2021. This woman walked up to me here in Lagos and asked if I have an account with UBA. Long story cut short, she opened an account with a Zero balance, I funded it and got my debit card that same day. An Igbo adage says "ebe onye oso ruru, onye ije ga eru" which means "there is no rush in life." I didn't open a UBA account because I needed it badly, it was because I wanted another account for a certain purpose. Also, it was convenient.

That's not the main reason why I am sharing this story.

A day after I had opened the new account and gotten my debit card, I got a call from a supposed UBA customer care agent. He sounded very proficient.

"Good morning Mr Onyedika. Once again, congratulations and thank you for choosing UBA. We do this routine call to inform our new customers about the need to protect their information against scammers. Ensure that you do not give anyone sensitive information concerning your account" he said

I felt a bit relaxed, I concluded it was just the usual security briefings that we have already gotten used to. I kept being attentive with some occasional "okay" to make him know that I am on the phone with him. He kept going

"Before I continue, kindly confirm if this is your account number 2222xxxxxxx" he called out the account number. It was correct and I affirmed. He continued "kindly confirm if you tried making a payment or withdrawal with your ATM card and it wasn't successful"

Candidly, I had tried renewing a subscription using thr new debit card and the transaction wasn't successful. I affirmed and he continued

"I am sorry about that Sir. This is exactly the reason why I called. Kindly give me some minutes while I run a check on your account" I could hear him work on his keyboard and the ambience sounded like a banking hall. I was relaxed and thrilled at the same time on how UBA could notice errors on the customer end without the customer even filing a report. I had to check again to be sure that I wasn't speaking with a robot. After a while, his voice was back "Okay Sir. When you got your card yesterday, a code was sent to you for the card activation"

"Yes" I affirmed "and I changed the code as I was told" I added

"Okay, Sir. Kindly disregard that code that was sent to you yesterday as we will be resetting your card so that you can be able to make transactions with it. What this means is that you'll be getting a new code that you'll use. When I call out this code for you, kindly write it down and use any ATM of your choice to change the code"

"Alright" I responded as he continued

"The code is 8235. I repeat, the code is 8235. Remember Sir that for the safety of your account, do not share your card details with anyone as it will make your account vulnerable to scammers"

"Alright," I said. I was going to get my card, go to one of the closest ATM stand and so as he said. Then he went on

"One more thing Sir. To validate the process, kindly call out the code you changed to yesterday"

"You mean I should call out the new pin of the card?" I asked. I was getting the whole picture now

"Not exactly Sir. As I said, the card has been reset and your default code is the one I called out to you. When you change the code to your preferred pin, your card will start working. But I'll need to know the code you changed to yesterday. This will help us in validating your card, Sir." He sounded calm and persuasive but he can only tell that to a naive fellow.

"That won't be a problem," I said "I am very close to where I opened this account. I think it's better I just walk up there and they help me sort out all of this"

"That is fine too Sir but not necessarily because we can validate it over the phone. I'll transfer you now to my manager, you can speak with him" he said, I could sense some kind of disinclination in his voice.

"Listen, Mr Man, I can't give my sensitive details to anybody and not even your manager or the CBN governor. I'll go to the UBA branch close to me to sort out the card issue I said" he hissed and hung up.

I wasn't intending to go to the bank to verify anything, I knew it was a scam but what is startling to me is how he got my account information, how he knew the date and time I opened the account and how he even knew I had a failed transaction. It can't be a guess work especially for an account that wasn't even up to 24hours it was opened.

Could it be that there is a staff of United Bank for Africa who releases this information or could it be that someone else has access through a backdoor to United Bank for Africa's database? This is a question I have no one to ask.

Stay woke... These guys upgrade on daily basis.

Crime / BENIGNANT FORTE | The Smiling Vicious Devourer by GeorgesDiary(m): 1:31pm On Oct 31, 2021
2020, I was going through economic anxiety and it was a situation that I never talked about. While I was doing some freelance jobs, it just wasn't enough. I recall going to a few person's inboxes to ask for help, one even called to be sure that my account wasn't hacked.

Saving my money in the bank wasn't helping issues, I was looking for where I can invest money and get returns. Is anything wrong with the idea of investing money to get returns? Absolutely no! People spend money in business so that they can earn profits. Is that not so?

Sometimes, when an investment goes south, the investors are often blamed and tagged as foolish. Who hasn't made a wrong investment before? Who hasn't bought products that didn't sell before? I remember some years back when I used my entire savings to self-publish a book. I had high hopes but it didn't sell. I moved on. Was I foolish? No! Would I have made a better decision if I had done more due diligence? Of course but not everyone knows how to do some of these assessments.

Last year, I was also doing free consulting for certain people on investments, mostly my relatives. Usually, they would call me to help them do due diligence on the company they wanted to invest in. My predictions to date were 90% accurate. I remember telling one of my cousins that investing in MBA Forex is a huge risk; if not for anything but for the products that they are offering.

Towards the end of last year, I decided to sign up with Benignant Forte not merely because I saw people I trusted promoting it but because after some checks, they had some verifiable claims about being into real estate, haulage, oil and gas and other businesses.

Benignant Forte wasn't my choicest though but they had packages that would accommodate anyone including very low-income earners. Instead of putting the little money I had in the bank where I could access it anytime, I felt that Benignant Forte would be a kind of "piggy bank" for me.

The ROI wasn't outrageous like most Ponzi schemes. It wasn't a Ponzi scheme where one is required to bring other people before they can be paid. There was an MOU and other things to boost one's trust in this scheme.

I started with a little money and kept topping up. As promised, I was getting my monthly ROI without having to remind them. It was as though the whole thing was automated but as each day passed by, I began having some doubts, I started asking some questions. This was after I had recommended the organisation to some other persons.

The chairman of this business was known for giving away money on social media or so he claimed. He would announce he'd be giving one million naira to someone with a satisfying business plan. Whether he eventually gets to select a winner or not we don't get to know but the usual announcements made it seem like he was truly helping people.

Some giveaways truly happened though. This was going to endear more people to him coupled with the fact that he breathe and talk "Christianese". This was the same trend with most chairmen of investment companies that went down the drain.

He also had several Christian programmes he would sponsor in Abuja with A-rated gospel artists on the flyers which leaves one to wonder, where does he get the money for all of these things? We knew there was a lot of money in his hands but we also knew that all of this money were people's investments, so where exactly was he getting money to sponsor these things since he was also supposed to be issuing monthly ROI to his investment subscribers?

Just a speculation, perhaps solely sponsoring Christian events is also a way to get people into the investment schemes. The moment they see " he loves God", then they feel "we can trust him". The Church platform would also be used as a means of promotion for the business.

Then came his wedding! It Was the talk of the town with just the wedding cake running into millions of Naira, very expensive decoration with celebrities billed to be at the event. This wedding was what broke the ice for me. I knew something was wrong and I stopped recommending Benignant Forte to people. I had also long gotten my capital back and I didn't go ahead to reinvest because I was becoming more sceptical about it.

Should we talk about the first anniversary of this organisation? The Chairman explored different European countries and even claimed to have opened offices there. He registered the business in these countries which wasn't a good sign for me. But, wasn't that supposed to be good news? Let me tell you why I was worried.

Being an organisation that runs an investment scheme, it raises eyebrows as to what their plans are. One has more chances of becoming a citizen by investing a certain amount of money in that country. While that may not be the case, it seems very likely that he was setting the stage for escape.

The company was registered in Ireland as Benignant Forte International Limited on the 7th of July 2021 with 28-32 Pembroke Street Upper, Dublin 2, Dublin, Ireland as a partial address. As an Irish company shares its Eircode with at least 96 other companies.

It's worthy to note that Benignant Forte and other similar businesses that have registered their businesses outside Nigeria didn't register as investment company and they only carry out their crowdfunding activities in Nigeria while diverting the money using their foreign businesses. Benignant Forte International Limited's principal activity is listed as "Business and Other Management Consultancy Activities".

With the constant giveaway or what he made us believe he was doing and the lavish spending using funds entrusted to him by people, in less than one year of existence as a business, one wouldn't be very shocked with the collapse.

The Benignant chairman claimed the business didn't fold, that they only stopped the investment arm. If that is the case, why can't investors continue to receive their ROI until the agreed period? Why can't businesses flow as usual except for new investors being onboarded?

As "Christianese" as Mr Philip Akor, the chairman appears, he is a disappointment. A few days to the day he ended the investment arm, Benignant did a promo that could get a lot of people including low-income earners onboarded. The promo was designed to attract all manner of investors and it paid off.

All of a sudden, there was a sharp change in the plan where the organisation claimed that they won't be accepting any more investment while ensuring that those who already invested will continue to receive their ROI. Some people felt bad because they thought they have been denied an opportunity to invest not knowing that they are just very lucky!

In less than 48 hours, they announced that those who invested previously will get their capital back before the end of 12 months and won't be getting their monthly ROI as designed. It was announced with a lot of "don't panic, let's pass-through this phase together" words. This was where everyone got the memo.

While many beneficiaries of his giveaway stood by him, others were pleading for their money. Some victims fainted, some became hopeless and I got messages from people who invested millions of Naira in the scheme. Why run a promo and then suddenly stop the scheme indefinitely just a few days later? Isn't that criminal?

In a live broadcast, Mr Philip Akor tried whooping up public sentiment by trying to show his audience how sick he was and how he is receiving medical attention. Not in the hospital but in an exotic apartment that many of his investors cannot afford.

Let's assume he was sick. What has it got to do with the investment scheme his organisation was running? He also did mention SEC and posted a screenshot but that still doesn't shed light on any tangible reason why people should stay calm. Running a crowdfunding campaign and closing off the scheme in three days affecting those who already invested looks much like a scam.

This is just history repeating but in a more organised way. Every time such a thing has happened, it usually involves good looking, enterprising, Church-loving, Pastor-endorsed and self-proclaimed entrepreneurs. They all use the same pattern; the mix of Christianese words and business together.

Meanwhile, let us leave Pastor out of this! If anyone scammed you, it is Mr Philip Akor and not Pastors who saw in his events. However, Pastors too must start doing due diligence before endorsing anything.

The next thing we expect to hear is that Mr Philip Akor has escaped the country. Who even knows if the live broadcast was done in Nigeria? Families are broken, lives are shattered, friends are turned against themselves and of course, the fine man has probably dealt with another set of "magas" and guess what? Life will move on.

If this isn't enough to tell Nigerians that no one else should be in charge of their finances in the name of investment because the Nigerian system guarantees no security, then we'll have to wait for history to repeat itself yet again.

Politics / "Wahala" As Self-proclaimed Biafran General Declares The Sovereignty Of Biafra by GeorgesDiary(m): 10:58am On Oct 31, 2021
"Wahala" as Self-Proclaimed Biafran General Declares the Sovereignty of Biafra.

By Onyedikachukwu Nnadozie

Self-proclaimed General Innocent N. ORJI has declared the sovereignty of Biafra inside a bush in an unknown location. The event was marked with the raising of the Biafran flag on a bamboo stick where he also took his oath of office holding on to palm fronds as the Head of State of the Republic of Biafra.

His oath of office had lines that were tweaked from the 10 commandments of the Old Testament of the Bible. What is not clear though is if the sovereignty of Biafra extends outside the bush where the Biafran flag was raised with the heart-touching Biafran anthem as the government of South-Eastern states continues to operate as a Nigerian entity.

Recall that in an undated video that appeared to have been recorded in 2017, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was seen in the company of the self-proclaimed General Innocent N. Orji and his Biafran National Guard.

"People speak highly of you, even those that are not members of Biafra National Guard, they speak very highly of you, they said if you’re outside (the prison) Biafra will come even quicker," Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said in the video. “And the time is now”, show us what you can do”. He concluded.

While the BNG Commander had called for the immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB in a media statement by its spokesman, Emma Powerful has distanced itself from the activities of BNG which he termed "criminal".

"IPOB doesn’t share same ideology with any criminal or violent group. We are a peaceful movement seeking the restoration of Biafra republic." Emma Powerful said.

While out of public for a while, the Biafran General has since resumed activities which also included the forceful collection of vehicles and looting of shops and fuel stations in the wake of their activities.

WHO IS INNOCENT ORJI?

In 2007, Innocent Orji was arrested by the Nigerian Police in Onitsha for a case of kidnapping and murder of two Chinese expatriates brought into the country by Innoson Group. The kidnap was orchestrated by suspected members of MASSOB. Innocent Orji served as the ring leader. He received a total of about 20 Million Naira in ransom and still killed the Chinese hostage.

Innocent Orji was made a general commandant in the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) by the then leader of MASSOB, Chief Uwazuruike. They resorted to all forms of violence, robbery and kidnapping to fund their activities. Pius Ogbuawa, now Late, was also implicated as one of their sponsors.

Innocent Orji was jailed alongside his wife, Mrs Onyekachi Orji for 11 years where she gave birth to a baby. She is still currently in Prison, Awka Correctional Centre, Anambra State.

On July 31, 2017, Innocent Orji was acquitted in the case concerning murder and kidnapping having served out his 10-year jail term. He has been with his daughter in the village before his reemergence to the public.

According to reports, Gen. Innocent Orji has always been opposed to MASSOB's non-violence approach and believed that war was inevitable for Biafra to be actualized which led to him breaking out of MASSOB and forming Biafra National Guard (BNG).

There have been reports which have been denied by the DSS, that Innocent Orji was recruited by the DSS & DMI into covert anti-Biafra insurgency operations. The report claimed he was trained, armed and funded as part of the Unknown Gunmen operating in the South East and taking advantage of the opportunities that IPOB has created unknowingly.

This report also claims that Innocent Orji's wife is still being held by DSS in special custody to ensure that Innocent Orji remains under their control.

Some things remain unclear especially with regards to who is funding Biafra National Guard and how they were able to acquire weapons. While DSS and The Nigerian Army have tried to associate the activities of BNG with IPOB, IPOB has also tried to link the activities of BNG to DSS. This has led to both sides denying any involvement.

"All the UGM in the South East, including those that they unleashed on Anambra, are all DSS and DMI operatives controlled and funded by the FGN!

“All the killings and arson in South East, attacks on Police, INEC, assassination of Dr Akunyili and others, burning of houses and markets and crimes against humanity in the South East, are DSS & DMI UGM covert operations. They are also the ones claiming to enforce Sit at Home on Mondays. They have added robbing of markets in South East Villages to their activities. Last week Tuesday they robbed an entire market at Awo-Omamma claiming to be ESN and carted away goods and commodities of poor innocent Biafrans! It’s all DSS & DMI UGM operations.” IPOB said in its statement

In a counter-statement, the Nigerian Army wrote

"It must be abundantly clarified that this spurious allegation is unfounded and could be described as a hoax.

"Their wild allegation that BNG and UGN were an overt operation by the DMI and DSS is not only laughable but remains largely elusive and a ploy to diminish the public support the NA is savouring in the ongoing exercises.”

WHAT NOW?

Now that General Innocent N. Orji has declared the Sovereignty of Biafra in a bush with handful of armed followers, fingers are crossed to see how the Federal Government of Nigeria will handle the situation.

Career / Someone Will Charge You To Give You This Information That I Give Free by GeorgesDiary(m): 11:03am On Oct 26, 2021
Someone will charge you to give you this information that I want to dish out for free.

If you are aspiring to build a brand around your name especially as a public figure, secure your domain name now! In fact, don't stop at securing your domain name, get a personal website.

I have been doing some quick checks on some popular figures and I noticed something about Mercy Chinwo. Mercy Chinwo is a popular Nigerian gospel artist whose gifting has opened doors for. She is a global figure when it comes to gospel music.

However, I noticed that mercychinwo(dot)com is up for sale at almost $690. She don't own the domain name and to secure it means she must cough out a larger amount of money to get access to it.

Here is what happens, someone notices an upcoming brand and quickly rushes to register the domain name hoping that somehow in the future, the person behind the brand will come begging for it. I remember getting a call some weeks ago from someone who wanted to purchase one of my Facebook pages simply because the handle could represent their brad better; I refused anyway.

Here is what you should do quickly:

- Register your business domain
- Register your personal domain
- Secure the official handles you'd like to use on social media

These things matter so much, it matters even for SEO. How would you feel when people search for you on Google and they are seeing someone else? Or when they try accessing a website hoping it should be you, the see stuff like "this domain is for sale".

You may have successfully built a brand but also work on your personal brand! Guard your name jealously. Until you secure your name on the digital space, it's not your name.

Religion / Why Islam Is Growing Steadily Despite The Decline Of Religion. by GeorgesDiary(m): 5:06pm On Oct 06, 2021
It has nothing to do with awakening!

Nigeria is the fifth country in the world with the highest number of Muslims. It is also projected that Islam will become the world's largest religion.

Why? How?

It's not because Christians or people of other faith will be converted, it's simple demographic mathematics.
Muslim men have more than one wife and each wife have more children than an average monogamous family. So, a married Muslim woman have about 3 children, let's say she is one wife out of 4 wives in a single Muslim family. That one family may be having about 12 children.
Fertility in the Muslim population surpasses that of other religions. As a result of Muslim demographics, they have the majority of much younger population more than any other religion.

Here is another reason Islam may not be near decline...

Christians enjoy some level of liberty. A Christian can denounce God, denounce religion and become an atheist without consequences from the community. Most Christians believe that faith in God is personal and therefore, every man has the right to answer for themselves.
For Muslims, it's a different ball game. By the virtue of Sharia law, Muslims are not permitted to convert talk more of denouncing God and religious affiliation. Conversion comes with a heavy price; death sometimes.

While Muslims residing outside Muslim communities can convert without so many consequences, they aren't always proud to do so because of the persecution and threats that follow. Abandoning Islam by Muslims is seen as abandoning their family or tradition.

I remember that year when a Muslim would always attend our fellowship secretly and also ask me questions online about Jesus. He told me inbox "I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior but my father will kill me if I publicly identify as Christian".

Politics / It's Still Early For Ipob To Redeem Their Image by GeorgesDiary(m): 4:58pm On Oct 06, 2021
It's good that both factions of IPOB have decried and condemned the killing of Dr Akunyili. However, let's also be sincere enough to admit that we nursed whatever is happening now from the day we started hailing "unknown gunmen" and seeing them as liberators.

We fed the beast when we supported the violent enforcement of sit-at-home. We fed the beast when we all laughed over the killing of policemen and soldiers, the prison breaks, the release of criminals and other similar things that happened. The leadership of IPOB didn't denounce these killings when it was linked to their security outfit. They rather used words that would only encourage more killings.
IPOB called "unknown gunmen" saviours. I listened to that particular speech where these unknown gunmen were called "Saints" and "Angels" by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before his arrest.

Now, IPOB is struggling to save their face because even the cockroach is beginning to agitate. Do you know why? Because when the whole thing started, they endorsed it. It coincided with the launch of ESN, they didn't condemn or denounce the atrocities. So, it is normal for people to think that "unknown gunmen" is synonymous with ESN.

For the records, ESN was created to secure the forests against Fulani Herdsmen. It was strictly for this purpose but since the killings began, with what looked like an endorsement from IPOB leadership and members, it is normal to think that they left the forest to start attacking civilians. To what gain?

For example, every killing today in the North is credited to herdsmen but we know some of these killings aren't necessarily by herdsmen. That's exactly what is happening in the South East. Many years back, there were "celebrity armed robbers" who reigned in the East. There were no ESN then remember. So, these killings may not necessarily be by ESN but we empowered them when we showered them with support of praises.

Remember the days of Bakassi? South East especially Anambra State was known to be the den of robbers, assassins and political thugs. I witnesses several robbery attacks, some of these attacks were life-threatening. There were no ESN then, there were no armed herdsmen then. It seems like we are back to those days.

Now, every violence and killing that happen in South East is attributed to IPOB. Most of these killings may be politically motivated but IPOB fell for the trap that was set by the fifth columnist. I think some of the strategies IPOB used is turning back against them. Yes, egocentric folks won't want to admit this but it's time to retreat and re-strategize.

But...
It's still early to redeem their image. How? By continuously campaigning against these killings, by showing their full support for peace and by seasoning their words with grace.

Once upon a time, people were defending IPOB and letting the world know that they are not a terrorist organisation. Now, it is very difficult to defend them.

One thing is sure anyway... The people we should hold responsible for this breakdown of law and order is those who swore an oath to protect lives and properties. Hold your political leaders responsible.

They failed. Period.

Religion / 7 Lessons I Learnt From TB Joshua by GeorgesDiary(m): 5:37pm On Jun 26, 2021
I have penned my encounter with the Prophet, TB Joshua, a controversial servant of God who has been called all manner of names like the "Witch of Endor". Some of the controversy surrounding the Prophet is based on one claim that he "got born again from his mother's womb". We know a lot of preachers have made oversights, some say things the wrong way but meaning something else.

In my appraisal and by what I understand from the scriptures, the said claim shouldn't have been the only basis of judging the Prophet. There is such a thing as giving people the benefit of doubt when it seems we do not understand people initially. Saint John writes

"This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God." - 1 John 4:2

Right here we see the most basic way to know that a man has the Spirit of God. It is not deep.

There are denominations today who do infant baptism, they believe that a child who is not baptized would go to hell when they die as children and got no chance to decide for themselves. These denominations make up the highest percentage of "Christianity" today but nobody attacks its entirety as fake, people rather pick out what they feel isn't correct about their doctrine and make their comments on it. I think that's how someone like Prophet TB Joshua should have been treated. One can say "I don't think the claim is scriptural" without branding his ministry in its entirety as fake or demonic.

I once asked his critics "what precisely was wrong with his ministry? Is it the odd miracles? Is it his teachings or what?" There wasn't any straightforward answer. Most critics of Prophet TB Joshua are confused, they do not know what they are fighting against, they just inherited their opinion of the Prophet from public opinion.

Recently, I published an article concerning his departure, the title is "The Witch of Endor". Now, I want to sum it all up by sharing a few lessons that I have learnt from him, a man who lived all his ministry life condoning all the hate from his fellow saints, those who he called "brothers".

1. YOU DON'T NEED ENDORSEMENTS

A lot of young preachers are self-contradictory in their teachings, they are drooping from pillar to post because they want to be on good terms with certain people, they need endorsement. Prophet TB Joshua proved that you do not need endorsements to be great. He was scorned and rejected by the "fathers", it didn't matter. While endorsements are great, your life doesn't end without them.

2. YOU CAN LOVE IN HATE

Prophet TB Joshua was hated. For some people, they were doing the right thing. We shouldn't love the devil after all and they believed that Prophet TB Joshua was the living devil. However, unmindful of their hate, he didn't become grouchy, he didn't respond to hate with hate. He was harmonious with his display of love. Whether you think he was faking it or not, I doubt anyone could fake love for a long time. We must not let people's hate affect our love, we must not let people's nature change who we are.

3. AMID CONTROVERSY, YOU CAN STAY FOCUSED

The ministry of Prophet TB Joshua was full of controversy and one would expect that each time there was a controversy, he should speak up about it and clear the air. That wasn't TB Joshua, he had no time for such. He remained one of the most difficult conundrum for people. When you tune in to his TV Station hoping to hear him clear the air, you see him either working miracles or teaching in his usual manner. He acted in a way that clearly said "if you want to believe me, believe me. If you want to believe my traducers, you are equally free. It is up to you what you want to believe."

4. GROWTH IS CONSTANT

If you had followed the archives of his early ministry, you can't help but wonder how far the Prophet has grown in wisdom and knowledge. You will see how far God can take a man who stays focused on him. In the early days of his ministry, as an educated man, he acted in ways that may not resonate well with many believers. He unobstructedly expressed himself in the best way he knew how to but he didn't remain there. He kept building himself, his expressions were getting clearer, his teachings were becoming much more sound and powerful even for the educated.

The SCOAN of today is so much a contrast from what it used to be. This is because growth is constant. Never loathe your process, never write off the days of your humble beginning. Even as the Prophet has grown, he wasn't hesitant to identify with where he was coming from.

5. QUIETNESS IS GOLDEN

When Jesus was being mocked and accused, the Bible made it clear that Jesus was quiet, he didn't say a word. Prophet TB Joshua lived such a life of quietness to some extent. While others were calling him names, he never responded to them in the manner that they were reviling him. Not once will you hear him call any Pastor names.

6. YOU DON'T NEED FORMAL EDUCATION TO MAKE AN IMPACT

Like I pointed out earlier, Prophet TB Joshua wasn't formally educated but it didn't limit his impact. SCOAN is an international ministry, people come from far and near to pay homage to TB Joshua's ministry. If you didn't have the timeliness to get a formal education, never see it as a constraint. You can still make an impact.

7. YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT RESPONDING TO YOUR CRITICS

At many times, we want to clear the air, we want to explain ourselves especially in the face of criticism but that isn't TB Joshua. He proved that we can live our lives and live fulfilled without responding to critics. He had every reason to respond but he chose to stay focused on his calling. This is a great virtue!

These are some of the things I learnt from the life of Prophet TB Joshua who passed away on June 5, 2021. I believe it blessed you.

Properties / 8 Things Every New Painter Must know by GeorgesDiary(m): 3:54pm On May 12, 2021

Okay, so let's get this straight, you can paint, I can paint, anyone can paint. What is painting after all? Isn't it just about rolling the paint roller on a substrate? My bad, you may probably not know what substrate is if you are a newbie, it means "a surface to which paint is applied". So, painting is just as easy as dipping your roller inside the paint bucket and applying generously to the surface.

Painting is easy, good painting is not.

Painting is easy, good painting is not. Have you been in a place where someone with a cracked voice and no music skills was asked to give a rendition? Whatever he does could be called singing but it can't pass for good music or can it? The difference between bad music and noise is just very slim. That is how it is when all you know about painting is dipping the roller inside the paint bucket and rolling on the wall.
Just before you relax and think we are about teaching you how to be a good painter, my bad! But wait a minute! You could get a thing or two out of this that will help you do better when painting either as a professional painter or as someone who is trying hands-on painting.
Now, let's dive straight into 8 Things Every New Painter Must Know.

1. Learn about the paint
All paints are paints but all paints are not the same! Yes, you heard that! There are different types of paints and different brands of paint. Permolit Paint comes in different types like the Substrate Protective Coating, Decorative Coating, Synthetic Paint and so on. You will need to know the safety information, the timing of application, the right temperature and the coverage of paint before using them.
Remember that it is not just about painting, you should also be able to calculate how many buckets of paint you should be needing for your surface and understanding the coverage of your paint is key to knowing how many buckets you would need. Understanding the paint makes it easier for you to use and saves you from trial and error.

Quick Tip: One bucket of Nanomax Interior covers three standard bedrooms.

2. Don't underestimate the importance of skimming.
To get a very good and perfect finishing, you must ensure that your surface is very smooth especially when you are working on the wall surface. To get the best out of quality paints like the permolit paint brand, you must ensure that every crack, hole and bumps are patched and scrapped off. This is where skimming comes in handy. Most locals know this process as "screeding". Skimming makes it possible to do away with wall flaws and make it properly levelled. It also helps give you the perfect smooth finishing that you or your client desire and helps your paint do what it promised to do.

Quick Tip: Permolit Acrylic Putty gives you a perfectly smooth surface for superb finishing.

3. Primer is not a waste of money.
Come to think of it. Why waste money on priming when I can just go ahead to paint my walls? That and more are people's questions when you recommend a primer to them. Most new painters tend to overlook the importance of priming especially when writing their quotations.
Primer may not be ideal for every occasion but it has great benefits when you are painting surfaces that are very absorbent like new drywall, unpainted woods, repainting a wall with a different colour especially when switching from dark to light colour, painting over oil-based paints, repainting a wall with stains and so much more other scenarios.
Primer saves you money because it optimizes your surface and helps your paint stick to the surface instead of having to apply multiple coatings before achieving the desired result.

Quick Tip: Permolit Synthetic Primer can be used on any surface including wood, metal, plaster, putty, concrete, betopan, gypsum, gypsum board, chipboard and MDF before applying topcoat.

4. Don't stop stirring
To get the best of your soup, you must stir it well before dishing it out so that everyone can have a taste of all the condiments used in making the soup. Hmmm, the yummy dish last night comes to mind but that's a story for another day. Scratch that! Every paint product is a mix of ingredients that can separate from each other. And just like soup, to ensure that every part of your surface gets the taste of all the parts of your paint you must keep string before and during painting.

Quick Tip: Get a stirrer and keep it handy.

5. Paint from a separate bucket.
It is easy to just tear the bucket open, dip your roller or brush and start painting immediately. But come to think of it; sometimes, as a result of a constant encounter with the wall and back into the bucket, the brush may leave behind some specks of dirt and dust from the surface inside the paint bucket which could end up spoiling your leftover paint as a result of contamination.
Another reason is that leaving your main bucket of paint open can cause the paint to dry. Since you can't carry your bucket of paint as you paint, you should get a smaller bucket that is handy, stir your paint, pour in a little and paint directly from the secondary bucket leaving your main bucket tightly closed.

Quick Tip: Most painters use old paint buckets as their secondary buckets. So, you may want to reserve some of your used buckets.

6. Choose your roller decisively.
All roller rolls but not all rollers are good for you especially very cheap ones! Depending on what you are painting, not all kinds of roller will serve the purpose. Paint rollers come in different sizes and there is a general guideline for choosing a roller:
- 1/4-inch nap for smooth or fine surfaces, such as new walls, ceilings, wood doors, and trim
- 3/8-inch nap for smooth to light-textured walls
- 1/2-inch nap for most walls and medium rough surfaces, such as textured plaster, and concrete
- 3/4-inch nap for rough surfaces, such as textured walls and ceilings, textured plaster, and concrete
- 3/8- or 1/2-inch nap is a good general-purpose roller cover.

7. Know when to use a brush or a roller
Fork and spoon are all used for eating but I bet you can't scoop your tea or custard using a fork. That is how it is with a paint roller and paintbrush. Every painter must know when and where to use a paint roller or brush because you will need the right tool to get the right finishing.

While a paint roller is ideal for large surfaces like the walls, ceilings and floors, the paintbrush is used to paint smaller and detailed areas like thresholds, edges and corners.

While a paint roller holds much more paint and makes the distribution of paint faster, the paintbrush is small, holds a little paint and is ideal when you want to be in control of how much paint you use on an area. Paint rollers come in different designs which can be used for different kinds of finishings, a roller with a smooth surface will result in a smooth surface and a paintbrush can be used to achieve textured effects.

8. Trying a sample isn't a bad idea
How would you feel seeing a nice-looking pizza, purchasing a very large one and getting home to realize that the taste is something you would never want to have again? Well, you wouldn't have wasted money on a nice looking but bad tasting pizza if you were given a bite before making the decision.

While some colours would look nice on the screen and the colour chart, you never can tell how it will be when you use it on the desired surface. Before you make the major decision of purchasing a large quantity of paint, it is not a bad idea to try a sample first. You can spend a few naira on just one bucket to see if it is worth it.

At Permolit paint, we always encourage our customers to purchase a sample and try it out first. This isn't just to prove how the colours will come out but also to prove our claims of quality and high coverage ability of our paints.

Quick Tip: You may want to try just one bucket of NanoMax Paint and see how far it could go in your three-bedroom apartment.
Politics / Re: EndSARS: No Evidence That Soldiers Killed Anyone At Lekki Toll Gate - US by GeorgesDiary(m): 2:48pm On Mar 31, 2021
Sensational Headline at it's best.
It is 2021 and unhealthy propaganda will keep flying!

The US did not absolve the soldiers of the accusations. At least, with the testimony of the Army themselves, we all know that something obviously isn't sitting right.

1. Governor Sanwo Olu claimed he didn't send the Army.

2. The Army claimed Sanwo Olu sent them but that they used only rubber bullets.

3. Then live bullets were seen and investigated. CNN released a report and then, they changed position and claimed they used live bullet only to protect themselves.

4. How about the CCTV footage? Or it was CGI?

Like, do these people take us for fools?

The US did not dispute the claims, they are reporting that the Nigerian Government disputes the claims. The word "Government" in that report is not "US Government" but "Nigerian Government".

Here is the highlight from the report

"On October 20, members of the security forces enforced curfew by firing shots into the air to disperse protesters, who had gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos to protest abusive practices by the Nigerian Police Force’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). Accurate information on fatalities resulting from the shooting was not available at year’s end. Amnesty International reported 10 persons died during the event, but the government disputed Amnesty’s report, and no other organization was able to verify the claim. The government reported two deaths connected to the event. One body from the toll gate showed signs of blunt force trauma. A second body from another location in Lagos State had bullet wounds. The government acknowledged that soldiers armed with live ammunition were present at the Lekki Toll Gate. At year’s end the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution continued to hear testimony and investigate the shooting at Lekki Toll Gate."

Family / A Short Story | Serene, Peace, Freedom by GeorgesDiary(m): 12:25pm On Mar 19, 2021
It’s Friday, let’s tell you a short story.

Ann had playful kids who desired freedom but she wanted a serene home void of dirty finger prints all over the walls. Oh well, Jide, her husband wanted peace but wasn’t having it because every now and then the kids comes crying to his ears and Ann comes complaining over again about the mess on their walls.

One day, Jide discovered it was possible for Ann to have a serene environment, for him to have peace and for the kids to enjoy their freedom! Oh well, he found an interior paint that is durable, decorative, washable and easy to maintain.

This weekend, Ann, Jide and the kids found a common ground. Guess what? They clean the walls together and it has been extra fun seeing their walls glow like it just got painted!

That is what you get when you choose a washable paint. Children will always want to explore their creativity, will you rather limit them from exploring their talents even if it mean staining your walls or will you protect your walls but cage their abilities? Well, you can protect your wall and still give your kids the freedom to become their best! Go for paints that are durable, washable and does fade even after washing.

One of such paint is Permolit Paints! Why wouldn't you choose a durable, protective, decorative and yet washable paint? Why not give your children the freedom to be more?

Career / Keep Pushing, It'll Make Sense | My Own Story by GeorgesDiary(m): 9:49am On Jan 06, 2021
It'll make sense if you keep pushing

Sometimes, I stand to speak or give my opinion about something and people think "oh boy, that guy is educated". Yes, I am educated but I am not educated in context to what they are referring to. This is a personal story, something I would have preferred sometime ago not to share but I am sharing it for obvious reasons.

To help someone who is about giving up.

I came from a home that moved from being average to being poor and then back to average. I am the second born of five children and we all grew up almost together. My elder brother was born February 1990 and I was born February 1991. My immediate younger twin siblings were born in 1993 while the last born was born in 1996.

We were all going to school almost at the same pace, I believe it was a bit challenging to pay all our school fees at once but my parents did the best they could. At a time, the five of us were all in the same Secondary school and I remember when the Dean of studies called up our family for positive recognition because my father doesn't only pay school fees, he always pays on time and sometimes before the time.

Then the problem started.

Business crashed, my father lost all he had. Yes, he lost every single penny! We were almost withdrawn from school but the founder of our school, Winners International School intervened. May God's blessings continue to be evident on her, she was an angel!

She didn't only ensure we completed our studies, she also made sure I and my brother wrote NECO. We didn't write WAEC because she wasn't informed on time that we didn't register. The only option then was NECO and she registered us with her money.

I remember how I and my brother could trek from our home at Nkpor to MCC Onitsha, close to Upper Iweka and then into the inland town where our examination centre was just to write exams.

It was also during this time that I was going about seeking a publisher who would accept my manuscript and get me published. I believed that somehow if I get published, I was going to be able to support my family and myself. That was how I exposed myself to a series of sexual abuse, a story I have shared in my short book "Raped at Seventeen". You can Google it.

After we were done with Secondary school, it was difficult enrolling into the University. My elder brother was to study medicine and become a medical doctor, I was to study computer science being that my flair for computers was very evident even at a very younger age.

Eventually, because things were hard and with much sacrifice, my elder brother switched into studying education. He graduated later. While he isn't practising today, looking at how well his life and career has turned is a shred of evidence that you can become what you want to be. You may just need to keep pushing.

After some time, in 2014, 6 years after I had graduated from Secondary school, I enrolled at National Open University, Awka. Sometimes I wish I had used the funds for something else.

I remember the first meeting we had in our department, I stood up to make a suggestion and someone said: "George, it's easier for you to say because this is obviously your second degree but for some of us, we have never been to the University before, this is our first experience". Unknown to her, it was my first too!

To cut the long story short, I was going to drop out just after a year of study with finance as the obvious reason. I watched my mates go to Lagos for their convocation and I'll admit, I had mixed feelings. At some point I felt blames overwhelming me. I thought maybe, I didn't work hard enough, I thought maybe there were things I didn't get right.

At another point in my life, I nearly resorted to putting the blames on my parents. I felt that maybe they didn't do enough, they didn't put enough sacrifice. I missed out on several life-changing opportunities because I was degree-less of which the latest hit me so hard.

I would close my eyes to sleep and I see myself quarrelling with my parents over my academics. There was a time I had a dream, I was shouting on my dad and telling him how he was the reason I couldn't finish school... I am being sincere. Then I woke up with so much anger and bitterness boiling in my heart against my father.

"This must be the devil," I said to myself and I wasn't in any way wrong! It was the devil trying to plant a seed of hatred in my heart against my father. God forbid! I rebuked it. To this moment, I keep loving my parents every day. I understand their sacrifices better now.

So, I made a resolve, never to settle for less whether I go to school or not. I am a strong advocate of getting educated anyhow, an advocate of going to school if you have the means but I also know that you can be much more even if you couldn't make it through the four walls of the University. Not everyone had the opportunity to make it through Primary and Secondary school after all.

However, these days it's easier to get educated. It's easier to learn at your own pace; it will only take internet bills. I enrol in many relevant online courses as much as I can. I am always intentional about any academic opportunity that passes me by because I know that if I couldn't make it the other way, I could make it this way.

I don't look at people and judge them because of what they couldn't achieve, I don't look at poor people and judge them for being poor just in the name of motivational speaking, like saying "you are poor because you chose to".

People who haven't navigated this path of life may not understand it. Some who understood it have continued lying to themselves until the lies became truth to them, so they are struggling to make others believe their new truth.

If you have been privileged to go through school, no matter how terrible the systems are in whatever country you are, be grateful! It doesn't matter if you sponsored yourself or someone sponsored you. It's a privilege.

I have helped so many graduates navigate life after school. I have helped some find career paths outside what they studied in school and the beautiful thing is, you could hardly tell "he is not a graduate" because, of a truth, I am a graduate! Graduate of many disciplines only not just graduate of a degree, master and doctorate courses; a cap I hope to wear anytime in the nearest future, perhaps with my wife and kids cheering me on.

Politics / Bia-africa | We Remember by GeorgesDiary(m): 7:00pm On May 30, 2020
When I was much younger, I was a staunch pro-Biafra, I was interested in everything Biafra, the Igbo History and our relationship with mostly non-Igbo speaking tribes around South-South. My Dad had a Biafran flag in his room and we believed that someday, there will be a nation called Biafra.

Biafra for us was the only hope for a part of Nigeria that has always been marginalized, a part of Nigeria that truly represents industrialisation, a part of Nigeria that has consistently put the nation on the world map with records… That is Biafra.

I remember a certain time a family friend from Edo brought her young child to spend the holiday with us, he was so fond of me and was always with me. He usually hears me say “Biafra” and one day he asked me “what is Biafra?”

“Biafra is the name of a country” I replied.

He was a very smart boy whose brain stays in a different level than his age. “Nigeria means Niger area, what is the meaning of Biafra?” He asked. I didn’t think twice to give him an answer, I have always had my own meaning of Biafra even before I read about Bight of Biafra which was renamed for political reasons.

I looked at him, smiled and responded “Biafra is coined from an Igbo word. ‘Bia’ means ‘come’ and ‘fra” stands for ‘Africa’. Biafra means Bia-Africa”

He doesn’t understand Igbo but he grabbed it since Bia is a very popular word even beyond Nigeria. “So, it means come to Africa?” He asked and I affirmed. “But why?” He asked me.

“You see…” I carried him on my laps, I was in my early teens age then “Biafra is the home of light, this is where the sun rises and the sun is a star… Biafra is the home of stars. If given opportunity, Biafra will become a place every human will desire to be.” He was excited and I continued “So, when we say Biafra, we are saying ‘come to Africa and see…'”

Our discussion didn’t stop there. I told him the little I knew about Biafra, I told him the puppet Biafran state called Republic of Benin, a state that lasted for only one day; this is right where he was born.

He got even more excited and he declared “Bia-Africa! I am a Biafran!”. His stay with us was full of memories, we kept talking about Biafra till he went back home. I haven’t seen him after then but I know this is an experience he won’t forget his entire life even if it gets faintly.

When his mother took him back to Benin, she called my Mum and asked “what happened to my Son? You can’t have a single discussion with him without the mention of Biafra and Bia-Africa….” I never knew it would get to that but someone has caught the same fire and love for a country that only exists in our minds at the moment.

The thing about Biafra is contagious. It isn’t called the land of the rising sun for nothing! Talk about sun and you talk about fire! Talk about sun and you remember it is the prominent star, beaming on earth and having full control.

While I may be at odds with how the actualization is being sort for by some people, we all can agree at one thing…. Do all you can, try and keep trying but Biafra is a force that you can’t ignore.

Hate it or love it, there is a nation called Biafra, it remains the hope of Nigeria, the Hope of Africa and maybe, the Hope of the Black people! It beckons!

At least, for now, it thrives in our hearts.

For those who laid their lives for the sake of Biafra without asking so much questions, we remember.

Romance / Sexual Satisfaction In Marriage For Women by GeorgesDiary(m): 3:00pm On May 29, 2020
There are so many ballyhoos about men and sex that we often don’t take time to study the sexuality of the woman. The first wrong approach we give to the discussions of the sexual needs of women is to think that she doesn’t have so much need for it.

In fact, sometimes, even the woman doesn’t know what is upsetting her in her marriage. She may have a loving husband who showers her with gifts but after every night she feels like there is more, so much more that she isn’t getting but she can’t place it.

The reason is simple, we already know so much about the sexual needs of men but we know so little how it works for the women and even when we seem to have a little knowledge of it, we are selfish.

In our clime, a man who loves sex and talks sex is living a normal life, it’s a sign that he is sexually healthy but when a woman plays out same, we often think she is being loose, wayward and uncultured. This is why it is a bit hard for women to open up about their sexual needs even in their matrimonial homes.

Most women will not tell their husbands how they need to be satisfied, what they aren’t getting right and where they need to be touched. Women are always schooled on how to get the man’s attention but she is denied the very truth about her own body. She simply doesn’t know what she wants and how she wants it but she knows that there is something she isn’t getting.

Men don’t love sex more than women, they don’t have sexual needs more than women and when they are sexually satisfied, the woman may be yearning for even more satisfaction. This is why what is good sex to the man may not be good sex to the woman. The same way the sexual organs of both genders are different, their sexual needs are different but one isn’t more important than the other.

Most men find utmost satisfaction in ejaculation but there is more than the woman wants which most men ignore. Men don’t only ignore it, they often find it very confusing. For example, while women may desire you spend longer time with them during sex, it’s not necessarily about how long you can keep up with an erection, it’s about how long you can make them feel desired.

As a result, for women, pre-intimacy is the most important part of sex. When a woman doesn’t enjoy or yearn for pre-intimacy from her partner, it’s a sign that there is no connection. Men need no connection to appreciate sex but women always need an emotional connection to appreciate sex and for them, pre-intimacy, touching, kissing and so on happens to be their best moments.

In fact, why lasting erection seems to be a factor is simply because they know that once the erection of gone, the man’s attention may also be gone. Some men would fall off their wives and go straight to sleep the moment he finds his own satisfaction. It seems to be the case of the woman helping her man find satisfaction while the man leaves her to sort herself out.

Sometimes, even after the man is done is the starting point for the woman when the game didn’t start well in the beginning. When women cling so much to the body of their husbands, they aren’t just looking for sex, they want attention, they want to be desired.

When men understand this, they may have to ensure their spouse is nearly or very satisfied before penetration. Penetration brings the climax, a kind of reward for a job well done. A man who doesn’t last long on the bed can still satisfy his woman if he is creative and patient enough during pre-intimacy.

Some men think it’s simply about having erection that lasts for hours. No! The woman will even find it very boring and taskful when it’s just all about penetration, she is just there as a sex machine and the feeling isn’t mutual.

If I should be blunt, a man has to be more selfless to satisfy his wife sexually because some of what satisfies the woman doesn’t make so much sense to the man. Men would want to retire from cuddling early enough than the woman would. The woman has pre-sex conditions that need to be met if she is to be satisfied.

For the man, as long as he is erect and as long as there is a “greased channel”, he is ready to go. But being wet isn’t just the indication that the woman is ready. Ready or not, a simulated woman will be wet.

If a woman should wear good lingerie and good perfume just to be pleasing to her man, the man too should be on good shorts, good perfume and a good attitude, it has to be intentional.

If the woman should sleep loose so the mam can freely play, the man can sleep loose too, to allow the woman freely play. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. No one has the exclusive right to satisfaction. If we should read God’s heartbeat for sex, it’s also another platform to serve one another.

Let’s look at what makes it all different for the man and the woman.

Men often appear “always ready” for sex! As long as they are hard, they are ready but for the woman, sex is usually something much more than a hit! A female sexual worker, for example, may be available for sex all the time but she isn’t in it, she is just there to satisfy you and get pay. Her mind is in the money and not in the act, they aren’t a yardstick to judge what sex is for the women.

A woman who is going through addiction isn’t also a yardstick, she isn’t normal, she is like every other sick person who needs help. Women are not always “sex ready” like the men but they are always ready to be desired which is the lead way to satisfaction for them. Where a man says “yes”, a woman is saying “let’s see how it goes.”

The woman’s sexual desire is like the matchstick. It is not always on fire except someone struck it! The more you are creative with guiding the fire from being put off by the wind, the more the matchstick burn, that’s how many women are. If you allow the matchstick to grow so cold, it may be difficult getting it to lit fire for you!

Good sex is priceless to the woman because it seems hard to come by sometimes. A man has to be intentional about his wife’s sexual need to truly satisfy her. When a woman has good sex, it will be obvious.

Most men think because they enjoyed sex means the woman enjoyed it too. Oh well, some women will always fake it just to make you feel good. But what is really good sex for the woman?

Romance / 9 Kinds Of Men Every Christian Woman Must Avoid by GeorgesDiary(m): 5:04pm On May 27, 2019
1. THE ANTI-CHRIST
Okay, you feel the anti-Christ I mean here is a black beast with wings and spear right? No, I mean that very nice guy who loves everything about you but doesn't appreciate the fact that you are a believer in Christ Jesus. It is not okay to marry someone with whom you do not share mutual belief! There is no point marrying a Muslim if you are a Christian and there is no point marrying a Christian if you are a Muslim. The reason is very simple; you aren't being religious intolerance, you are simply trying to avoid what will likely backfire in the future. The issue of belief is so deep that anyone who disagrees with your belief disagrees with everything about you. The Bible says in Amos 3:3 " Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?" Why start a journey in disagreement hoping that in future you may agree? Why not agree now or leave it? Let 2 Corinthians 6:14 be your anchor "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has the light with darkness? "

2. THE CHOLERIC
Hey! I am not saying you shouldn't date anyone who identifies himself with the temperament of "choleric". This is simple, do not end up with someone whose temper is his master. Never fall for that line that says "with time he will change." If he isn't changing now, he will likely not change tomorrow. If you enjoy being with someone who gets angry at every argument, every misunderstanding, every mistake and so on, go ahead and enjoy but make sure you are not deciding on the basis of temporal feelings. Your husband is likely to serve as a leader and this isn't just about you but also about your children. Marriage doesn't change people and if there isn't any effort on his own part to readjust or he isn't seeing any problem with his anger issues, you are heading to a mess if you are going on with him. The Bible says in Proverbs 29:22 "An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins." Your husband is supposed to be your best friend, how can life be for you as an emotional person when you spend all your life with an angry fellow? Trust me, nobody learns how to put up with an angry person forever. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:24 "Do not make friends with an angry man, and do not associate with a hot-tempered man."

3. THE ARROGANT
Do you want to spend the rest of your life with someone who always tells you how unimportant you are and how he picked you from nothing? Do you want to marry a man who is so concerned about himself than he is about you? God designed you to be his helpmeet and the Bible says anyone who finds you, finds a good thing and obtains favour (Proverbs 18:22). Marrying a very proud person leaves you struggling for attention and never getting it because they believe they are doing you favour forever coming into your life.

4. THE BOSS
Sarah called Abraham "my Lord" willingly. Abraham didn't have to put up a fight or force it down her throat that "he is the man of the house." You don't need a man who will boss you around, you need a man who will truly love you like the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh. Don't settle for a man who will never allow you to have the life of your own or make your own decisions. There are men who want you to cut off from your friends, stop interacting with people and stop going for events! Why settle for someone who wants to limit you from becoming the best of whom God has designed you to be? Never think you can sort it out! The Bible says in Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves."

5. THE BULLY
If women are weak vessels, then you obviously need someone who will treat you with respect and protect you, not someone who will flex his muscles at you and force you into things you obviously didn't want to do. You are insulting yourself and God who created you as a treasure when you settle for someone who consistently keeps hurting you and treating you like an animal. Even animals are protected and used as pets. I understand such men need help but trust me, sweetheart, you aren't that help they need! I know you want to be a hero and be given credit as that virtuous woman who stood all grounds but you aren't God and there are things left for God alone to fix! Marriage isn't based on unconditional love, it is based on commitment and oneness of purpose! You are not an object at the gym used in training muscles, you are God's display of beauty and you need someone who sees exactly what God sees in you!

Family / 7 Ways To Raise Confident Kids by GeorgesDiary(m): 11:32am On May 27, 2019
1. DON'T JUST TALK, LISTEN
Listening to your children gives them a sense of belonging and makes them feel special too and you may not agree with this but there is a lot to learn from your child! Somehow, your children can teach you how to love them and where exactly you need to pay attention if you can devote some time to listen to them. Parents often do a lot of talking than they do listening to their children. Your child might be trying to say something very important but may be struggling with words, you don't have to take words away from them, seal it off and get them busy so that they talk less. Even when he or she does something wrong, you've got to listen to them first, to know why they did what they did. It would be a pointer to something you never paid attention to.

2. THEY ARE KIDS BUT DON'T JUDGE THEM
We all used to be kids and we remember how bad and unimportant we felt when our parents judged us unfairly. When listening to your child, don't be quick to make any conclusive remark, think about whatever they have said and made them know you are thinking about it. Judging your kids may actually blind you on things you ought to pay attention to. For instance, you may have concluded that your children are disrespectful because they don't greet your cousin but you have to get close to them and know why they don't seem to be showing your cousin so much respect. When they get used to you judging them, you may have to get used to them hiding things from you.

3. DON'T SPOIL THE ROD ON THEM
The Bible didn't say we should spoil the rod on the child. In Psalm 23, we see that the rod can guide and comfort, therefore we may not need a physical rod but our words and loving disciplines. When a child does something wrong, don't let anger dictate how you punish him or her. Sometimes, people think they are disciplining their children but they are only satisfying their anger on those children. When you punish your kids in anger, you are abusing them and it will make them develop low self-esteem. It is important to discipline them and still make them understand you disciplined them because you love them. Loving parents feel bad when spanking their kids but they want their kids to do the right thing.

4. BE THERE
It is true that you have so many responsibilities and you work extra times to cover the cost for the bills but it is truer than your children need you more, at least now that they are still children. The Bible instructs that we train our children before they grow up because we may not be able to train them after they are grown. In Igbo communities, there is a popular quote that says "you don't learn dancing in your old age." It is good that you provide money, food, clothing and other material things to your kids but that is not enough. I usually tell people that if they can't devote time to their children, they shouldn't have kids in the first place. You have to be your child's gossip mate and best friend because what you do not teach them, they will learn it elsewhere and may even learn from the wrong person. Take note of your children's birthday and holidays!

Romance / The Senseless Girls by GeorgesDiary(m): 5:13pm On May 17, 2019
THE SENSELESS GIRLS
:
I alighted from the bus and stood at the junction wondering if I should board a bike home or just trek. I have been on budget and trekking would save cost but I was also tired. When I remembered I had spent the previous night struggling to survive the thirst for water which I had run out from, strength came from nowhere, I determined to trek, using the money I could have paid the bike man for a packet of sachet water. I had other reasons to walk anyway; it helps us keep fit especially when we don’t usually exercise in the morning. You know, when people are on a serious budget, they start telling you how unhealthy meat and drinks are or how unchristian Christmas and other holidays are.
:
After thirty minutes of walk, I had gotten very close to my apartment when one of my neighbours walked past with a young fair beautiful tall girl who lived few meters away from our apartment and I overheard them discussing
“You know I love you right?” the young boy said with his aura reeking of marijuana.
"Yea I do," the girl said and in my imagination, I saw her smile "and I love you too…” their voice had gone faintly as they walked farther down. I smiled and kept walking.
:
Each time I retire to my house after all the busyness of the day, there is usually this peace I feel! My house isn't well furnished but my bed is one of my favourite places after a hectic day and then my desk is the next favourite place after a short rest. Like my new custom is, I'd come into the house, drop my bag and dash to the bathroom for some shower; I walked into the bathroom and remembered the last moment I had with my previous soap. I had used the soap until it got so tiny that I had to press it into my hair, make my hair foam and use whatever comes out of my hair for the rest of my body. "Poor soap" I sighed and went back to the room, picked up the money and dashed out to a nearby kiosk to get myself a new soap and use the opportunity to get a packet of drinking water too.
:
On stepping out of the house, the electric indicator sounded and smiles beamed on my face as though I've found something more than gold. It was electricity. We pay huge amount of money monthly for this and we only get six hours of electricity out of twenty-four hours every day, we have gotten so used to celebrating the incompetence of the power sector as long as we see the bulb shine for few hours. If not for anything, it was a very cold evening and a hot bath should not be bad after all.
:
I got outside again, nothing much has changed. The sun was down already, blue sky, moist atmosphere, calm environment with the slightly wet sands sticking against the scandals and pulling off at each raise. Getting to the kiosk, I saw my neighbour who had seen a girl off previously and this time he was at a corner with another neighbour who doubles as his friend and partner in crime. He was standing, left leg on the earth and the right leg raised on a small rock while his friend stood opposite him at akimbo with excitement written all over his face. They were discussing, I wasn’t paying attention, I was busy trying to make my choice of soap since I couldn’t afford my preferred soap at that moment.
:
Oh well, I had picked up the soap I wanted while the little girl had gone into the major store to get me a packet of water. My eyes were fixed on their little dog who was having the best of his time, scratching his bag with one of his legs "poor dog" I smiled "what does he know?" I sighed. Suddenly it seemed like the wave brought a word across my ears, it was those guys still discussing. Maybe they increased the volume of their voices out of excitement as they were laughing now with the other guy exclaiming “Chai! You are the man!” You know me and my tendencies, anytime I hear stuff like that, I pay attention. They had succeeded in distracting me from the dog, my eyes were still fixed on the dog but my ear and mind have gone to be in their midst. I was getting the whole gist now.
:
Please, don’t judge me, I didn’t eavesdrop, they were just loud without even realizing it.
“The girl cannot even cook!” The one I had met previously said. Let’s call him Ken and let’s call the other one Nek. How about that? Sounds cool? I don’t know if that name exists anywhere though.
“Which of them? Is it the average one? That came in the morning?” Nek asked, his excitement was so audible
“No! I mean the one that just left this evening. The slim one nah…” Ken laughed and continued “you can imagine the noodles she prepared for me; it got burnt while she was carried away in playing with my ears.”
“Hahahaha… These girls eeh, they will be carrying their ass around but there is nothing in them.” Nek responded. I was feeling ...

Religion / Salvation Is Forever by GeorgesDiary(m): 6:21pm On May 08, 2019
WHAT MANNER OF LOVE? | Forever Saved

It is true that many people seem to be finding more and more reasons to agree that the Bible is a scam and that there isn't God and Jesus is not our saviour but it is also true that these people believe wrongly due to ignorance. So many folks try to present a wicked God but throughout the Bible, we have seen a central theme which is all about God's love. Today, let's discuss the security of the believer in Christ and the manner with which God loves us.

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." - Galatians 2:20

Notice that Paul uses the past tense here. We aren't going to be crucified with Christ again because it has already been done. And for the reason of our crucifixion with Christ and the reality of His resurrection, the life we live now as believers aren't ours but the life of Christ.

We started living this life by faith in Jesus! Therefore, there must be an acknowledgement of the finished work of Jesus on our own part before we can be able to partake in what has already being given.

There is a profound truth that is worthy of consideration here. This miracle is irreversible, it is eternal because our own life is since gone and we now live the life of Christ. The Bible says in 1 Peter 1:23 "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."

Career / 6 Things Every Customer Wants by GeorgesDiary(m): 2:15pm On May 07, 2019
Life in its entirety is business. Whether it is about a relationship, academics, buying and selling and so on, you must see it from a business perspective. In everything you do, you have to put into consideration what you are investing and what is expected of your investment. Do not let life happen to you by chance, be deliberate with how you live. Whether it is money, resources or time that you are investing in something, always consider what will come out of it. Always remember to see everyone around you as customers and treat them right. Whether it is your family, your partner, your friend or your clients, there is something they want from you and if you understand what they want, you can have their loyalty. Let’s look at what they want from you.

1. RELIABILITY – To be reliable means to be able to say something and do it just the way you said it. You shouldn’t make promises you have no means of fulfilling neither should you make a list of services you aren’t offering. You are not a jack of all trade and even if you are, be master of one! Let your customers be dependable on you! If what you are offering is Pizza, let them know you with Pizza and let that Pizza be at its best!

2. QUALITY SERVICE – Nobody wants to be disappointed especially when they have offered something in exchange for their expectation. Nobody will be happy receiving a service that doesn’t have value for what they paid for. Ensure that what you are offering is the best and never compromise here. Quality services will not just help you beat the competition, it makes your customers accept and trust you. Quality service isn’t just about offering quality products; it is also about offering quality products with quality manner, approach and very special treatment. You don’t have to shout at customers, treat them partially or treat people casually just because you are tired. Your customers are the reason why you are doing business and therefore you must accord them with that privilege.

ask me, I will give you countless reasons why single-hood is even better than mingle-hood. I've always lived my life lonely, but at the same time, I've always achieve whatever goals I set for myself lonely.

cheesy cheesy cheesy
Personally, I believe that marriage is another phase of life that shouldn't be in competition with single-hood. Single-hood is the best time to be whatever we want to be.
