Despite being married, Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia has the freedom to
include certain not-so-marriage-worthy lyrics to his songs. And that is due to the understanding of his wife, Annie Macaulay.
2face & Annie Macaulay tied the knot in 2013, and the couple have had to deal with certain challenges to the union, inclusive of rumors of infidelity in the media. But all of that has not made her to censor his lyrics,with 2face revealing the depth of her understanding during an interview with Olisa Adibua on 'The Truth'.
“My wife is very understanding." 2Face said. “Even if I say some things (in my music), sometimes it's just an artistic expression.
“It doesn't really mean that it happened to me, or I did it like that. But sometimes you need to create some excitement in music, and do all that. She's cool, she's very understanding. In that aspect.
“It's hectic, but when you put yourself out there to do stuff, responsibilities come with it. You have to create time for everything. You have to create time for work, create time for pleasure.
2face Idibia also revealed how his lyrics are born. For him, it comes in a number of ways, depending on several factors. Although, he leaves that to his moments of inspiration.
“For me it's depending on the mode, the situation, sometimes I'm in the plane or I'm in the club, an inspiration just pops up. At that moment, I might decide to just take my phone up, and record whatever is coming into my head from my phone.
He added: “Sometimes I just sit down at home, get a pen and paper, and just start creating the melody in my head, and writing the lyrics. Sometimes I write the lyrics, and create the melody before I go to the studio, and the producer will ...or I even do it myself.
2face Idibia recently lost his father to Prostate Cancer. His 6th studio album, 'The Ascension', is currently the highest selling album in iTunes Nigeria.

The Empire Mates Entertainment disc jockey has reacted to reports by International commerce magazine, Business Insider which wrongfully claimed that he is the son of Africa'a richest woman.
DJ Xclusive has denied reports that he is the biological son of Africa's richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija.
The Empire Mates Entertainment disc jockey has reacted to a report by International commerce magazine, Business Insider, which listed him amongst the world's hottest billionaire offsprings. According to the report, DJ Xclusive (Real name Rotimi Alakija) was reported to be the offspring of Folorunsho Alakija, No. 698 on the Forbes list and the richest woman in Africa, worth $2.6 billion.
But speaking to Pulse in a telephone conversation, DJ Xclusive's rep denied the reports. “It's all a mix up. DJ Xclusive is not Folorunsho Alakija's son, Folorunsho is his aunty."
His reps further explained that Folorunsho Alakija also has a son named Rotimi.
DJ Xclusive, is a British Nigerian DJ, producer, and artist. With a degree in Financial Computing, he began his career as a DJ in 2003 at U.K. dance clubs like Vendome and Tribeca Nightclub to make extra money. He's since gone on to win awards, becoming an On Air Radio DJ for Cool FM Lagos, and is signed to the EME Record Label.
The report from Business Insider failed to mention other Nigerian celebrity offsprings, which include, Florence 'DJ Cuppy' Otedola (Daughter of Billionaire Oil Magnate, Femi Otedola), and singer David 'Davido (Son of Billionaire businessman, Deji Adeleke).

How have you been coping without a wife?

It has not been easy but life must go on. I believe whatever happens has been pre-ordained. The death of Omoladun was a great loss I cannot get over in this lifetime. She will remain my best companion. She understood me than any other person on planet earth. At times when we quarrel in the house, she would abuse me on set and that would mark the end of the issue.

Any plan of remarrying?

Yes . In fact pretty soon.

Who is the lucky bride?

You can’t know her for now. She is not an actress because I can’t marry an actress again.

Are you insinuating Omoladun was not a good wife?

No, I don’t mean anything of such. What I mean is that I cannot get someone like Omoladun among the actresses again. Her good acting skills is one of the reasons I loved her but I have decided to check else where for love.

After the death of Omoladun, your step daughter accused you of killing her mother?

That is mere rumour. She later came out to say she never said that. We were all staying in the same building. Omoladun was hypertensive for a long time and I did my best as a husband, a friend, and colleague to take adequate care of her. At a time she spent months at a hospital. The day the bad incident happened, I was about praying when I told my child to go wake Omoladun because we had an appointment. It was this child who ran out to call me and with the help of neighbors, we rushed her to the hospital. The doctor confirmed her death on arrival.

Has her death affected your career?

Not really. There are many people who can take her role but I miss her so much. After her death, I produced “Baba Jaiye” part two and it was a huge success.

Three hotel attendants, who allegedly recorded a customer’s sexual affair and demanded a ransom of N10 million, were on Thursday charged before an Ogudu Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.

According to NAN,the employees had used the hotel’s CCTV to record the guest’s sexual exploit with his girlfriend.

The accused: Sunday Okon, 23; Rita Emmanuel, 28; and Goodness Akpan, 24, whose addresses are unknown,

Prosecutor Uche Simon told the court that the accused had on Aug. 13 at a hotel in Ogudu area of Lagos conspired to record a guest while sleeping with his girlfriend.The accused produced a VCD on it which they circulated to residents of the area.They also demanded a N10 million ransom and threatened to post it on the facebook if the man failed to part with the money.When he failed to deliver the money, they went ahead to post it between August 13 and 23
