Ordinary Guinea, Nigeria cannot beat!

What a disgrace
What do you mean. Give them respect. There is no small countries in international competition. Mind you , they qualified for it.

I hate to sound like this but the truth must be said. I don’t think Nigeria will go far in this Nations Cup. You may be seeking for a reason but that’s just the bitter truth.
Righteousness exalts a nation. A nation that’s plagued with corruption and shedding of blood wants to be exalted amongst other nations. If not for the prayer of the Church in this country, things would have been worst for the citizens.
Gone are those days when people gather together to support our sportsmen. The people have now been divided across the lines of politics, religion and tribalism.
Until righteousness is restored back to the nation from the top to the bottom…

NB: Take a look at the NTA transmission and see how poor it is. The quality has not improved since all these years. What happened to all the money pumped into it? There are many things wrong with the nation.
Other African countries are here to sell groundnut. What is the reason why it is called competition. We need to respect other countries.

Once they lose the 1st match, everyone will lose hope
In the last AFCON, Nigeria beat Egypt on our first match in Cameroon, what happened at the end. Egypt played in the final against Senegai. Nigeria crashed out in the second round against Tunisia. Even if we loose first match, that is not the end of the road.

Reality may be different and so a group stage exit will not surprise many.
It is not the first time Nigeria exit from the competition at the group stage. It happened in Libya 82 when we were the defending champion. We paraded players like Segun Odegbami, Felix Owolabi, Mudasiru Lawal, Adokiye Amasimaka, Henry Nwosu, Emmanuel Okala Tunde Bamidele. It is not a big deal if they come home at the group stage. Heaven will not fall. It is football , life will go on .

Super Eagles died 1998.... Now we have super chickens.....What do you expect?
You are wrong, they won the cup in 2013 despite parading not too famous players . Even the 1998 eagles that paraded OKOCHA and Co didn't win anything.

Sports / Re: AFCON: What Nigerians Are Saying As Super Eagles Lose 2-0 To Guinea In Friendly by godwon01(m): 9:23pm On Jan 08
Loosing in a friendly match doesn't mean you can not perform well in the actual competition. Nigerian lost to Togo in 1996 on their way to Atlanta 96. The team paraded players like JJ Okocha, Kanu, Amokachi, Oliseh, Ikpeba and Amuneke. They were beaten by 3 goals to nothing. Players are always afraid of injury before the real competition.

No doubt, Austin JJ OKOCHA. World acclaimed No 10. Oliver Khan great tormentor. Dreaded no 10 that most African keepers don't want to see on Nigeria line up.

This dude play like Sunni Keita. Another aboki that was given a red card in South Africa world cup. Honestly, he is a good replacement for Ndidi. He might even be a revelation of the tournament. I wish him best of luck in the competition.

Even our group opponent knows that they are going to fight for the remaining second spot. The last time Nigeria went home at group stage was in Lybiya 1982. It will not be our portion IJN.

Yahya Toure is still very bitter from the defeat they suffered from the less fancy Super Eagles that was dominated by minor players in Africa then in 2013. Yahya will never forget the incident till the end of his life. Let him continue to grumble on Super Eagles till will get another cup in his home country.
